Chapter 1199: Section 732: Fellow Daoist (3)_2
·For a tough nut like you, I have many ways, but considering you are tougher than your peers, I’m prepared to deal with you slowly.
With that, Ails’ assistant lifted the young man’s foot.
Ails cut off one of the young man’s little toes and fed it to the Ghoul.
The young man gritted his teeth fiercely, surprising even Malin—what a guy, truly a tough nut to crack, even as an opponent, Malin had to give him some credit.
·Well done, young man, if your master saw your steadfast appearance, he might even enlighten you, but unfortunately, in this world, it’s not his turn to call the shots. It’s fine if you don’t speak, I’ll continue.
Ails proceeded to slowly cut off all the young man’s toes, but surprisingly, the young man bit down hard, not saying a word despite his frantic struggle.
Malin was moved by the young man’s courage and perseverance, not wanting to continue tormenting him anymore—after all, Malin believed in the adage that a butcher is not crazy.
Since this young Chaotic Believer isn’t speaking, then let it be, kill him, and then directly ask his soul for the information we want.
Just as he was thinking this, Sage Qian suddenly slapped his thigh: "Lord Malin, did you lift the Immobilization Spell?"
Hmm?
Malin turned his head to look at the young man.
Noticing that Malin was looking at him, the young man struggled frantically once again.
Malin silently cast a spell to unlock the formation on the young man, then finally heard him scream out in agony.
Ails looked at Malin, the Soul Fire in the Lich’s eye sockets flickering non-stop, with silent signals seemingly flowing through.
Malin turned his head, and the big dog formed by the World Tree Sapling at his feet opened its mouth to the Ghoul, revealing a mouth full of teeth which were terrifying to the Ghoul.
With enough howling over there, the young man, with snot and tears streaming down, chose to surrender.
With nothing else to do, Ails could only step aside and start skinning, while Sage Qian took over the interrogation process. Malin, on the other hand, took a snack bag from Susu and ate bits and pieces of snacks.
"Is your bag a never-ending snack bag?"
Malin ate several pieces, finding the bag still full, and asked out of curiosity, then saw Susu nod.
I’m so envious, I also want a bag like this.
With this in mind, Malin quickly ate a few more pieces of snacks, then reluctantly returned the bag.
Over there, Sage Qian had already finished the questioning, pulled out a gun, and gave the youngster a quick end, then began issuing orders. When most of the detectives had left the room, he looked at Malin: "Sir Malin, there is a tough case here that may require your expertise."
"No problem, leave it to me." Malin nodded and then stood up: "Coordinates."
Sage Qian shared the coordinates: "The target is on the third floor, only one person, he is a Transcendent, with strong Spiritual Energy, a very difficult person for others to handle, but I believe you can handle it effortlessly. He is the leader in New Hangzhou for their cult, once we capture him, we can ascertain who all came in this time."
"No problem, leave it to me." Malin said and then walked into the teleportation channel.
Susu followed him in.
Old Master Li frowned: "I just saw a young lady following that kid Malin into the teleportation channel."
"Yes, indeed, there was a young lady." Madam Meng nodded.
"Xiao Meng, aren’t you worried?" Old Master Li raised an eyebrow: "What if she is a ghost!"
Madam Meng looked at the chandelier that suddenly fell from the ceiling and landed on the old fellow’s head, and couldn’t help sighing.
My old friend is good in every way, except for this reckless nature that even she can’t match.
......
Malin walked out of the teleportation channel, pointing a finger to immobilize the panicking errand boy at the door, while rolling up his sleeves and walking towards the three-story small building ahead.
Susu followed by Malin’s side, continuing to eat her snacks.
"Don’t be too harsh on that old fellow, he doesn’t have many years left, respect the old and cherish the young, alright?" Passing through the gate, Malin pinched the errand boy, who appeared colorful purple in his Psychic Vision, to death while looking at Susu.
Susu shook her head, defiantly replying: "Who says, I’m eight thousand years older than him, he should respect the old."
Malin quickly climbed the stairs, humming without looking back: "I just came by midway, not like you."
"What did you say?" Came a four-word reply bristling with a strong aura of killing intent from behind.
"I said, we have young hearts, young bodies, importantly we have young appearances, no need to bicker with an old geezer full of wrinkles." In a moment of life and death, Malin declared his self-rescue statement, simultaneously running up to the second floor, flicking a small hand, the elf at the end of the corridor, hearing the sound and turning back, drew down a craft sword from the wall and started to self-decapitate.
"You... are still the same as before, unchanged." Susu suddenly sighed.
"You are unchanged too, not letting anyone off when in power." Malin smiled and opened the locked second-floor staircase door, behind the twisted iron big door was a ferocious big dog.
This time, Susu reached out and patted the big dog’s head, the big dog immediately turned from a ferocious dog to a cute dog, running towards the balcony on the other side, and then jumped out.
"Wait a minute, I remember it’s a cliff over there, at least fifteen meters above the ground." Malin looked at Susu in horror.
"Yes, ignorant bad dog has only death to run into." Susu said as she glanced at Malin: "Do you still think ladies first?"
"There, hard work and heavy tasks naturally should be handled by us gentlemen." Malin wiped off non-existent sweat from his forehead while quickly running to the third floor.
When taking the corner, Malin had already confirmed the target through scanning, apart from him, several people were on the other side of the corridor, with firearms in hand, seemingly waiting to surprise anyone who stepped out into the corridor.
But Malin wasn’t planning on surprising them—pulling out his pistol, Malin shot the wall with five rounds, and five ricocheting bullets did the work for their owner, solving those Chaos minions lying in wait.
"That guy jumped out the window." Susu said.
A teleportation channel opened in front of Malin, he stepped in, Susu followed, in the next second, appearing on the ground behind the small building. Malin and Susu looked up, seeing a middle-aged man in mid-air with a face of despair, wanting to use Spiritual Energy to attack Malin, but it was completely ineffective. Instead, Malin sealed all his powers, and eventually, because of fright and casting Spiritual Energy, he lost balance, landing very awkwardly face-first.
Malin took out a rope and tied this guy up, then dragged him into the teleportation channel.
"I feel it was a bit too fast." Susu asked as she followed in.
"Believe me, this was not fast." Malin said, as he walked out of the teleportation channel, dropping the target at Sage Qian’s side.
He was even giving commands to the remaining detectives. He froze for a moment looking at the target Malin had brought in.
"Is this our Master of Ceremonies?"
"Yes, he is our Master of Ceremonies." Malin replied, turning his head to look at Old Master Li, who was tidying his hair, and smiled.
Susu also smiled at Old Master Li.
As a gesture, Old Master Li returned a very awkward smile, seemingly aware of who the adorable little girl in front of him truly was.
You have Spiritual Energy, so how can you still be so careless, old fellow.
Malin internally criticized while taking the little tube thrown by Ails.
"Whose?" Malin asked.
"Your girl’s, I don’t know who sent it." Ails replied.
