Chapter 1176: Section 721: The Neighbor’s Guest (Part 3)_2
It’s a pity, how could it be possible to sign a contract with such a monster.
Malin sighed.
"You seem not to trust us. If possible, I am willing to, after obtaining your genetic genes, let the new Queen rule my clan. That would be your offspring, your most loyal child."
The Queen lay even lower.
But her humility and concession did not win Malin’s forgiveness—indeed, to fight against Chaos, it was necessary at times to unite all possible forces, even to negotiate with the Undead, but all of this was premised on the Undead being as understanding as their counterpart Ails.
As for this Queen... Malin felt no sincerity in her speech, a child? That was just a lie from a genetic thief.
Thinking of this, Malin stepped aside from the Queen’s pounce, finally no longer acting as a humble servant; the Alien Queen missed her strike and immediately swung her long tail, trying to deliver a chilling blow to Malin.
Unfortunately, her long tail hit Malin’s arm, feeling like a caress between lovers. Malin took the opportunity to grab the long tail and flung the Queen against the wall.
The metal wall instantly twisted, and the Queen’s body deformed in a flash.
Malin flicked his wrist, sending the dazed Queen crashing against the opposite corridor’s metal wall once more.
This time, her entire shell cracked open. Malin stepped on the massive creature’s back, forcefully tore the long tail entwined in his left hand, and extracted the spine from its body.
"Do you think you’re qualified to negotiate with me, different kind? From your deception, you can only atone with death." Saying this, Malin raised his foot, broke the Queen’s neck, then threw the long tail smack against the wall, shattering it to pieces.
Discarding the remnants of the long tail, Malin reached down to pick up the head—it’s quite a trophy to hang on the hometown’s gate.
He tossed it into his private space, letting the head die once more, then connected to Ails’ side of the communication.
"Those Aliens are fleeing, sir, happy hunting."
Ails seemed to already know Malin had dispatched the Queen, feeling somewhat regretful for apparently having missed seeing her alive.
"I’ll show you the head when the time comes, intercept all of them, don’t let them escape, otherwise a new Queen will emerge among them." After speaking, Malin continued forward, only to reach the end without finding the group of Adventurers, just a hapless Half-human body with a gnawed skull lying on the ground.
His Spiritual Body still lingered beside the corpse, yet didn’t awaken any intelligence. Considering this is the Dark Zone, simply leaving it isn’t ideal, Malin reached out and directly purified his Spiritual Body before removing a dog tag from his necklace—the Adventurers carry a dog tag like soldiers for identification, so if someone retrieves the corpse post-mortem, they just return the tag to the guild and can keep the belongings as compensation for helping.
Malin didn’t care for his scant coverings, thus stashed the corpse in the Semi-Plane, planning to deliver it to his family later.
While inspecting the hall, Malin also found several larvae hiding in the corners, almost missing them. Fortunately, the Spiritual Energy scan revealed them, and after crushing them, Malin stepped into the teleportation channel opened by Ails for him.
The corridor on Ails’ side was filled with Alien corpses. Jin Weili was also present, holding his handgun and contemplating life. Upon seeing Malin arrive, he feigned pity: "Your Highness, look, my gun can’t even penetrate their shells."
"You want a gun that can pierce their shell? I have one here, try it."
Knowing this kid definitely sneaked down here, Malin wasn’t angry but took out his former 20mm caliber hand cannon, which didn’t appear too sizeable.
At least Jin Weili confidently gripped the handle, and as Malin let go, the kid was bent over by the weight of the gun—he shouted in pain and reached to hold his back.
The heartless Sostak No.3 immediately burst into laughter.
Jin Weili grimaced at Malin, who shook his head, taking back the hand cannon: "This is the only gun I have that can penetrate their shells."
"Your Highness, that’s basically a cannon!" Accepting Malin’s treatment, the kid complained while holding his still strained back.
"It was your own request." Malin raised his eyebrow, then approached Ails, retrieving the head.
"It’s really big, bigger than any Queen I’ve seen."
Pagy Lin remarked in awe examining the head, while Ails glanced at the large head, somewhat helplessly shaking his head.
"With such a large head, I’m curious about the worth of its soul."
"Next time there’s an opportunity, you can invite me over to help." With that, Malin looked at Mr. Pagy: "Pagy, if there’s such a chance next time, remember to contact Ails, I’ll come to help too."
"No problem, Your Highness, if you could assist, I believe my employer would be most delighted."
