Chapter 1172: Section 719: The Neighbor’s Guest (1)_3

"What did this sword hit to break, I hope it wasn’t a hand." Sostak No.3 said while controlling the drone and picking up Thainan’s straight sword to check.

"Looks like something suddenly attacked the camp, I found several different size footprints here." Jin Weili discovered something at the edge of the camp, and he also found corrosion marks on the distant tree trunks.

The young sentinel confirmed the potential danger and the tall grass afar and decisively decided to run to Sostak No.3 for cover—among the six people here, his close combat skills were the weakest, even Ling Zuo Zuo could pull out the Psychic Sword and spar with the restrained Malin evenly (Bunny Girl confirmed Malin truly wouldn’t casually cook her into braised rabbit head, losing her fear completely), yet this guy, Malin could restrain himself and still beat him.

Moreover, Malin could confirm this guy wasn’t pretending, it was quite embarrassing. To prevent a legendary figure from dying easily, Malin had chosen a sequence to enhance his body a week ago, but evidently, the solution was too late for immediate relief.

Malin walked over for a look, felt the footprints seemed familiar, so he called Bie Luo over: "Is there anything in your database regarding these footprints? They look familiar to me."

"I’ll do a search." Bie Luo said, and shortly after, he had the answer.

Malin also had an answer — as he extended his right hand, a black creature that just dashed out of the grass towards Malin flew in front of him and knelt, gently placing its vulnerable neck at the base of his palm.

Looking at its elongated head, its pitch-black body, its helpless mouthpiece inches from Malin’s face but powerless, Malin extended his left hand, grabbed the mouthpiece, and pulled it from its mouth.

"It’s an Alien." Bie Luo raised his head and provided the answer, then exclaimed as he looked at the Alien dying miserably beneath Malin’s feet.

"Bie Luo, confirm recent satellite images for the past month, see if zombies have entered this area." Malin spoke while watching his left hand — erosion harmed Malin’s hand, but it quickly healed in the next instant.

Is this the power of belief?

Malin wondered, remaining alert at the same time.

Power is merely power, being seduced by it is lamentable when one becomes a slave to power, isn’t it?

"Confirmed, several entries, no signs of battle found." Bie Luo quickly provided the answer.

It seems these big bugs haven’t been in our world for long, they don’t want to fight the zombies, and these unfortunate adventurers were likely taken away to be used as incubation hosts.

Thinking of this, Malin spoke: "We must find them and them."

He closed his eyes at this point.

In the next moment, everyone noticed the sky turned dark.

Inside the camp, a squad sat, gathered around a small campfire.

"High-level time reversal?" Xiao Lin looked at Ling Zuo Zuo.

"No, I don’t sense any elemental fluctuation." Ling Zuo Zuo shook his head.

"It’s a higher level of transcendent power." Jin Weili spoke and then caught a commotion in the distant grass: "Look closely, our neighbors have guests."

In everyone’s eyes, eight pitch-black Aliens slowly crawled out from the grass.

See, in this world, between predator and prey, there really isn’t a clearly defined line.
