Gu Chen finished speaking and then walked out from behind the bar.

Even many were ones she had not come across in her three years of career.

The woman turned around to examine the bottles in the bar’s cabinet.

Gu Chen looked at the cocktail, which had a layer of white at the bottom and cherry red on top.

It didn’t look particularly attractive, partly because Gu Chen had seen too many flamboyantly varied cocktails before.

But the cocktail she made was still rather fashionable by today’s standards.

Gu Chen picked up the drink and took a simple sip.

One could say that the taste of a cocktail is hard to pin down.

Unless it’s a particularly popular cocktail with a standardized way of mixing.

Otherwise, if it’s a drink mixed by a regular bartender, the flavors vary greatly.

The name of each cocktail was essentially up to the bartender.

"This drink is called ’Warm Morning Sun,’" she said to Gu Chen.

Gu Chen nodded after hearing this and then tasted a small sip slowly.

The first thing that struck him upon tasting it was a sensation of dry heat, coming from the first layer of the drink.

Then, in the next second, or rather instantly, the sensation changed completely.

The second layer beneath was refreshing and cool.

It was akin to stepping outside after waking up, able to feel both the warmth of the newly-risen sun and the refreshing coolness left in the air from the previous night.

"Not bad," Gu Chen affirmed with certainty.

Gu Chen could still tell which drinks were tasty and which were not, after trying so many.

If he were to give this cocktail a mid-range score, with ten being perfect, Gu Chen would at least give it eight out of ten.

"The base salary is seven thousand a month, with a ten percent commission on the profits from the cocktails sold," he said to her.

Upon hearing this, she quickly responded, "Thank you, boss."

Maybe it was because of her age, but like the purple-haired girl he saw yesterday, she was very outgoing in nature.

"The bar will open for business tomorrow, so you can start then. You should be here by eight in the evening every day. If you need an assistant, just say so. However, it all depends on how busy we are during the trial operation. If it’s busy, you can have an assistant," Gu Chen explained.

She nodded happily upon hearing this.

The salary Gu Chen offered was the best she’d had among all her jobs.
