Chapter 1706: Chapter 897: Which departments or majors are relocated to the South Campus?

Half a month later.

Mist City Arts and Science University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, a total of 129 teachers and students, along with 26 people who had previously graduated and joined Feiyue Aerospace Technology Department, a total of 155 people, joined the Space Administration’s rocket recovery technology research project team.

From now on, these 155 people will, over a long period of time to come, work together with the rocket recovery technology engineers at the Space Administration to develop rocket recovery technology.

The Space Administration has a certain foundation in the research of rocket recovery technology, after all, this rocket recovery technology project was established a few years ago.

Although the research progress over the years has not been as slow as imagined, it has also not been without progress, considering that the most top-tier talents in the field of rocket recovery technology are gathered here.

Therefore, with a certain foundation already established, coupled with the excellent team of 155 provided by Mist City Arts and Science University, and with the assistance of the Mist City Arts and Science University computing team, research has begun to progress smoothly.

Why did the computing team from Mist City Arts and Science University also get involved in the rocket recovery technology project to provide support?

This is because rocket recovery technology, to a certain extent, is closely related to rocket control engineering, and research into rocket control engineering inherently cannot be separated from related computer technology.

At this time, the top computing team led by Xu Bin and Chen Jun from Mist City Arts and Science University became indispensable, despite the fact that the Space Administration also has an impressive computing control team. However, compared to the world-renowned computing team led by Xu Bin and Chen Jun, it still falls slightly short.

That is precisely why.

The research on the computational control aspect of rocket recovery technology was firmly handled by Xu Bin and Chen Jun, and what remained was the research on other aspects of rocket control engineering. This required the people who build rockets to continuously explore and innovate to overcome the challenges, eventually combining all mastered technologies to completely conquer rocket recovery technology.

This process, as estimated by the Space Administration, would take at least one year.

However, over at Mist City Arts and Science University, Ding Yue estimates it won’t take as long as a year. After all, funding has already been secured, with coordination and support from the Space Administration, and all of the 155 excellent rocket technology faculty and students from Mist City Arts and Science University have been empowered by Ding Yue with rocket recovery technology. After participating in the project, their mastery of rocket recovery technology is becoming deeper and faster.

In such an optimistic situation, why would it still take a year?

Ding Yue believes it would take about half a year!

That is to say, when America’s Space Exploration Technology company’s Starship One arrives near Mars, Xia Country’s rocket recovery technology would already be developed and even potentially applied to rocket launch and space development plans.

Thus, when Mist City Arts and Science University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Feiyue Aerospace Technology, and the Space Administration began collaboration, Ding Yue temporarily stopped worrying about these matters.

Just waiting for the research results from both sides.

During these few months, the teaching aspects of Mist City Arts and Science University have been steadily improving, thanks to Director Qi Chunsheng, a highly capable educator, leading thousands of excellent lecturers and professors to impart knowledge to over 200,000 students at Mist City Arts and Science University.

Not only that.

The over 200,000 students of Mist City Arts and Science University have also received a strong learning buff effect within the university, with learning efficiency continuing to rise steadily.

Everything is progressing as expected.

During these few months, the previously "stunning" Pharaoh Kingdom’s new capital New Cairo City project was also underway, as eight construction teams from Feiyue Construction Company and the majority of Feiyue Construction’s employees had arrived in the Pharaoh Kingdom, starting construction of New Cairo City.

With the rumbling machines and transport vehicles beginning to operate on the construction site, a brand-new international oasis city began to thrive on this desert land.

Not only that.

To fulfill the initial promise to build an "oasis city" for the Pharaohs, relevant faculty and students from the Mist City Arts and Science University School of Environmental Sciences and Botany are urgently conducting successive relevant technology research, as well as various soil environment improvement work needed for the construction of New Cairo City.

To this end, Mist City Arts and Science University’s School of Environmental Sciences, Botany, and other departments have dispatched over 100 faculty and students to the construction site of Pharaoh Kingdom’s New Cairo City to lay a solid foundation for the city’s green system.

After all, they promised to deliver an oasis city to them, and it was precisely because of the "Oasis City Plan" that they were able to secure the New Cairo City project, so it simply has to be delivered.

Building New Cairo City won’t be completed in a year or half a year; it is a vast project. Even with a large construction team dispatched by Feiyue Construction Company, it would still take two to three years to completely create an oasis city for the Pharaoh Kingdom.
