When Ainsworth looked at the rewards given to him by the Earth Will, Ainsworth couldn’t help but smack his lips as if he had seen delicious food in extreme hunger.

Although the EX-rank Hidden Missions rewards weren’t that plenty, the quality of the rewards was extremely high to the point that Ainsworth was speechless.

The rewards presented and given to him by the Voice of The World were the rewards he received, not what Rian and Dante had received. Their rewards were separate from his but it was a no-brainer that he got the good stuff as he was the one who contributed the most in completing those three EX-rank Hidden Missions.

Because of that, their rewards might be a few grades lower than his in terms of quality and quantity but they were still very generous. At least, from the expression on Rian and Dante’s faces, they were elated and very satisfied with the rewards they received.

Furthermore, the rewards Ainsworth received were so outrageous that they would be the loot of SS-rank and SSS-rank Awakeners yet a no-rank Awakener like himself obtained them.

For example, the SSS-rank Abandon Mission Card was something that only SS-rank Awakeners and SSS-rank Awakeners could get. He hadn’t forgotten the one Elyndra gave to him yet the EX-rank Hidden Mission had yielded three of them.

’I’m quite certain that Rian and Dante didn’t get these or else the expressions on their faces would be like they had won the lottery. Same with the SSS-rank Class Rank Upgrade Crystal as while it might be useless to Dante and me, it was a priceless treasure to Rian.’

’After all, Rian only has an SS-rank Hero Of Light class. Although I could sell the SSS-rank Class Rank Upgrade Crystal for a huge amount of Awakener Points or even trade it for a valuable item, Rian is my bro so I’ll just let him have it and let him owe me a favor.’

If it was a Class Rank Upgrade Crystal above SSS-rank, Ainsworth would have used it immediately but unfortunately, it was only at SSS-rank.

He didn’t know how difficult it was to obtain a Class Rank Upgrade Crystal above SSS-rank but he was certain that those SSS-rank Awakeners must have already upgraded their class to above SSS-rank.

Although their publicized information only revealed their respective classes at SSS-rank, Ainsworth wasn’t dumb enough to believe that was truly the case. Even he had grown skeptical on whether there was really someone who had already become an Awakener above SSS-rank and he was only certain that there were more than thirteen SSS-rank Awakeners.

The Awakener Association might have only publicized and idolized thirteen SSS-rank Awakeners, but only a frog in a well would believe that.

At least, as Ainsworth became stronger, he was certain that the Awakener Association might have concealed the information of other SSS-rank Awakeners to keep them as trump cards.

Or, a few of those SSS-rank Awakeners might have even chosen to conceal their information and the Awakener Association might not even know.

Either way, such a guess made Ainsworth believe that his current strength was far from enough.

Knowing that he needed more power, Ainsworth used the S-grade Stat Crystal to raise the B+ Mana stat attribute to the S-grade. Because of that, all the rest of his stats aside from Charm, Luck, and Spirit, were raised to S-grade as well.

In other words, Ainsworth was now comparable to a Two-Star S-rank Awakener in power. Even if he didn’t have their rank status, he still was confident that S-rank Awakeners were no longer a match for him except for those with exaggerated SSS-rank classes like his Sister Kyla.

’To think in just one Otherworld Mission, I’ve already achieved combat power comparable to my sister despite her achieving it after many side missions.’

’Well, aside from my hard work and efforts, it’s also due to my system as I obtained my SSS-rank Freedom Freelancer class from it. And with it, that S-grade Stat Crystal was used in not just one stat attribute but the rest of my stat attributes.’

His skyrocketing combat power was merely due to his class’ outrageous class trait. It was already generous for the EX-rank Hidden Mission to reward one S-grade Stat Crystal and it would have only been intended for the usage of one specialized stat attribute.

For example, if Dante had it, he wouldn’t have hesitated to use it on the Endurance stat attribute to improve his defense but doing so would only crease that stat. Even if he had an S-grade stat, the rest of his stats were only at C+ grade so just one S-grade Stat Crystal wasn’t enough to make him have the combat power of an S-rank Awakener.

And besides, most Awakeners, even if they had overall S-grade stat attributes, wouldn’t necessarily have the combat power of an S-rank Awakener. Just having stat attributes alone wouldn’t directly translate it to combat power as some Awakeners couldn’t even use their own power properly.

Ainsworth just so happened to have the skills to use his stat attributes to the fullest compared to the rest of the Awakeners. He wasn’t limited by skills and talent but merely his stat attributes.

Moreover, if Ainsworth could use an SSS+ Stat Crystal to raise all of his stats to an SSS+ grade, he had the utmost confidence that he’d have the combat power of an SSS-rank Awakener.

’Unfortunately, stat crystals could only be used at the limit of the Awakener’s rank. Only those rewarded by the Earth Will were exempt from that rule. Otherwise, I would’ve long swallowed my pride and begged Elyndra for an SSS+ Stat Crystal.’

’Using Override: Ultimate Freedom to bypass that restriction? A pipe dream. But if I ever did acquire an SSS+ Stat Crystal and an Awakener rank, I’d try it anyway.’

For the sake of revenge, Ainsworth didn’t care much for dignity. It couldn’t be eaten, after all. Moreover, It was simply asking Elyndra for something he needed—and he wasn’t too prideful to stomach that.

At least, he trusted Elyndra well enough to show her his vulnerable side.

Although the Elyndra in Awakener Earth might be different from the Elyndra he knew in Past Life Earth, their essence was still the same or so he believed. But at least, he knew that she was generous to him to the point she even gave him an SSS-rank Abandon Mission Card.

Arguably, an SSS-rank Abandon Mission Card might be slightly more valuable than the SSS+ Stat Crystal. The former could be used by Awakeners of any rank while the latter was only restricted for SSS-rank Awakeners’ usage.

After Ainsworth decided to deal with those when he ever encountered the need to, he checked the rest of the rewards.

’The SSS-rank Revival Coin according to the Voice of The World can allow me to revive myself after my death. If paired with the SSS-rank Abandon Mission Card, I can even die in the Otherworld and let myself be revived on Earth.’

’Even without that, the Revival Coin is worthy of its SSS-rank grading as it allows Awakeners to choose their revival location as long as it is a location that has already been explored by the Awakeners. That alone solved the problem of most low-rank revival items as it’s too useless if the enemy would camp my corpse after my death.’

Although, it was unlikely for natives of the Otherworld to camp their enemies’ corpses. Only Otherworlders like Awakeners, Challengers, and Reincarnators would do that as they knew that the Otherworld Factions they came from had the means to grant their members resurrection.

’Aside from the SSS-rank Revival Coin, there’s also another SSS-rank item that I’ve received. The SSS-rank Random World Two-Way Teleportation Scroll should be an item that allows travel to another world without having to partake in an Otherworld Mission.’

’I’ve read such items and am familiar with them due to them being recorded in the Edenbridge High’s library. Due to its random nature, using it would be very risky but it’s better to have it than not.’

While Ainsworth was deep in thought, he heard a notification sound in his mind interrupting him.
