The three got out of the car and entered the building, then arrived at the floor where Aigertoni was.

"We want to see Mr. Wayne Rushford."

"Do you have an appointment?"

"Yes, tell him Mr. Joseph is visiting."

The receptionist scrutinized Anton, then with a bit of surprise, she made a call, soon hung up, and said, "Mr. Rushford is expecting you, please follow me."

They were led into a grand and luxurious office.

There, Rushford, who Yang Yi had met once, was sitting behind the desk. Rising as they entered, he said gravely, "Please, have a seat."

Rushford seemed weary. He left his desk, came over to Anton, but didn’t offer a handshake, just slumped directly onto the sofa and said feebly, "What are you here for?"

Anton said gravely, "We’re here to take back the company."

There was no need to be particularly polite to a figurehead, especially under the current circumstances.

Rushford sighed deeply, then whispered quietly, "What about Mr. Joseph?"

Joseph was Steve’s alias while dealing with Rushford.

"Mr. Joseph doesn’t need to come himself, he’s very busy right now."

Rushford’s attitude was decent but problematic.

Rushford continued feebly, "I’m ready to return the company. It’s not mine, and I’m prepared to sign off anytime, but when can I get the loan agreement signed? Did Mr. Joseph mention anything about that?"

"Mr. Rushford, you mentioned someone visited you yesterday?"

Rushford looked puzzledly at Anton, then his demeanor became cautious, and he said gravely, "Who exactly are you?"

"We are sent by Mr. Joseph, but Mr. Rushford, we’ve been together with Mr. Joseph all along, and he didn’t send anyone yesterday."

Rushford was stunned, then his face turned guarded, "I don’t understand, how can you prove your identities?"

Anton smiled and said, "We don’t need to prove anything, but the people who came yesterday have entangled themselves in trouble. Tell me how they looked and what they said to you."

Rushford looked shocked and guarded; he stood up but refused to say anything.

"Don’t test my patience. Speak!"

Rushford thought for a moment, then said gravely, "Yesterday, two men claiming to be sent by Mr. Joseph came to see me. They wanted the company back. They didn’t say much, just asked me to think about it, and they would come again today. I thought you were together."

"What did they look like?"

"There wasn’t anything distinct, uh, both wore gray suits, if that counts?"
