But Tuya Rio was useful to Jethro.

It was unknown when Boyata would recover from his injury, and Jethro was now a lone commander; if something arose, he didn’t even have someone to carry bags or drive a car, and while Tuya Rio wasn’t much use to the Organization of Water, he was very useful to Jethro.

Yang Yi said with a smile, "I will consult with Jethro. Rod, ask Tuya Rio what he thinks. If he agrees, he’ll follow Jethro in the future. Let Jethro negotiate his salary with him."

Yang Yi then went to knock on Jethro’s door. Once Jethro opened it, Yang Yi said nonchalantly, "I’ve already arranged it; we’re soon going to France to surveil Steve, aiming to pin down his movements. There’s something I want to ask you—do you remember Tuya Rio?"

"Of course, that monster."

"He can move now, and at most, he needs one more month to fully heal. He doesn’t fit with us, so I wanted to ask if you’re interested in him, to have him work for you as a bodyguard or a driver or something."

Jethro was taken aback and said, "You don’t need him?"

"Can you drive?"

A normal person’s bones would need at least three months to heal, while this man didn’t even need two months. Such a rate of recovery, calling him a monster was indeed a compliment.

For a moment, Yang Yi felt somewhat reluctant to let Tuya Rio go to Jethro, but this thought was fleeting. Why keep an eating machine who, apart from a decorative front, was of little use?

Yang Yi looked at Jethro. Jethro was very satisfied as he patted Tuya Rio’s arm and said in a deep voice, "From now on, you’ll be my bodyguard. I’ll pay you twenty thousand US dollars each month, but do you know what a bodyguard should do?"
