Chapter 495: Chapter 483: Must Be Quick

The plane was about to land, and Yang Yi and his group had made their battle preparations, but after waiting for five minutes, the aircraft was still circling in the air. Moreover, looking down from the sky, it was clear that the plane was not above the city.

Jenny came to the economy class once more. Then she said sternly, "You need to change your clothes, stow all weapons, and we’ll have to wait at least twenty more minutes before we can land."

There must have been some mishap in communicating with the airport, which caused the plane to be unable to land on schedule. Moreover, they hadn’t coordinated well, so Yang Yi and his group could not disembark fully armed.

This was Yang Yi’s guess, but he didn’t plan to ask Jenny what exactly had happened.

The plane circled in the air for a full half hour. Finally, Jenny came over again, and her expression had improved significantly. She said loudly, "We’re landing immediately! You only have five minutes after landing, so you must be quick when getting off the plane, and make sure to take all your equipment."

After a jolt, the plane finally landed, and after a long taxi, it came to a stop at the end of the runway.

As soon as the plane came to a halt, Jenny urgently exclaimed, "Quick! Quicker!"

Yang Yi and the others ran out of the plane and then boarded an airport shuttle bus. Once everyone was on, Jenny boarded the bus and then took out a compact walkie-talkie and said in a grave tone, "Prepare to receive us outside, we are on the bus."

The airport bus began to head out. It was past three in the morning, and the airport was still bustling with planes, vehicles, and ground personnel. But, Yang Yi didn’t look outside; he kept his eyes on Jenny’s expression.

Jenny looked very impatient but not nervous, which eased Yang Yi’s tension considerably.

The bus left the airport, and then Yang Yi saw seven or eight vehicles, including sedans and SUVs. They looked ordinary from the outside, but Yang Yi felt they were there to pick them up.

Sure enough, Jenny urgently said, "Those vehicles are empty, but the keys are left in them. Now, choose your cars according to your preferences and team composition, and do it fast!"

Yang Yi said in a deep voice, "Three to a car."

With three per vehicle, Yang Yi, Rodriguez, and Kate got into one car, and Jenny followed them into the same car.

Jenny sat in the front passenger seat, then she took out a cell phone and said in a grave voice, "The route is set up, just follow the navigation."

Without a word, Rodriguez followed the navigation instructions and drove the car away.

The car drove through Warsaw city for a while, and by four-thirty in the morning, Yang Yi and his team were very close to their destination.

It was then that Jenny turned her head and whispered to Yang Yi, "You need to find a place to get changed."

Yang Yi replied calmly, "Where is the gold, how many guards, the topography, and the evacuation route? If we snatch the gold, how will we transport it? That’s thirty-three tons of gold."

Jenny responded evenly, "The gold is right there. I don’t know how many guards, but it won’t be too many. The topography is quite simple. Just get in the same way you will get out. If you get the gold, we will have vehicles to pick it up."

Yang Yi took a deep breath and said, "Thirty-three tons of gold! That’s not something a few people can carry off just like that. Alright, we’ll just focus on snatching the gold; you take care of the transport."

Yang Yi was getting a little angry because the cleaners hadn’t provided the necessary intelligence for the operation, making it very dangerous.

Jenny considered for a moment, then said, "As long as you locate the gold, we’ll handle the rest."

The gold had been transported into a supermarket’s warehouse, and Yang Yi’s team was now very close to it. After looking at the map, Yang Yi whispered, "Find a secluded place to change clothes, then move on!"

Rodriguez couldn’t help but whisper, "Where to?"

Yang Yi looked around, then he said in a deep voice, "Just ahead, drive the car into that alley."

Rodriguez drove the car into a dark alley, and then Yang Yi put a mask over his face before he took the radio and said, "Put on the masks, we’re about to reach our destination, change here."

After speaking, Yang Yi got out of the car, then he started putting on a bulletproof vest and equipped himself with weapons and ammunition.

It took about three minutes to get ready, and Yang Yi said in a low voice, "Radio check, over."

"Received, over."

"Turn on night vision."

"Night vision on, over."

After everyone had responded one by one over the radio, Yang Yi said in a deep voice, "Let’s move out, keep going."

Cars backed out one by one. After pondering for a moment, Yang Yi murmured, "This is a downtown area; we basically can’t sneak in undetected, but striking rashly isn’t a wise choice either. I need someone to scout ahead."

No sooner had Yang Yi finished than Zhang Yong said over the radio, "I’ll go, over."

"Ghost received, let me do it, I’m good at this kind of thing, over."

Anton volunteered, and after he finished, Brian said in a serious tone, "Kate and Holy Water can take on the reconnaissance task, over."

Yang Yi thought about it; he believed it was time to see what Anton was capable of.

"Ghost, Owl, Holy Water, you three go for reconnaissance. The items are in the supermarket warehouse. Clear any obstacles you find during the reconnaissance, over."

Now they were approaching the warehouse, all the while Yang Yi’s team was walking and assigning tasks, skipping even a cursory survey of the terrain, because the operation had to be quick. Whether or not they were detected by the enemy, they had to move in and out swiftly. Taking their time to start the operation would be the most dangerous approach.

Having decided to send Anton, Brian, and Kate for reconnaissance, Yang Yi said in a deep voice, "Blade Queen, take a vantage point for cover. Iron Fist, cover Blade Queen, over."

Xiao Ran immediately voiced her dissatisfaction over the radio, "Me again? Why is it always me giving cover?"

Although she was much displeased, after voicing her complaints, Xiao Ran still said dispiritedly, "Blade Queen received, I’ll give cover. Alright, I’ll do it!"

Whether Xiao Ran was satisfied or not, as long as she followed orders, that was enough for Yang Yi, who breathed a sigh of relief and said over the radio, "Gambler, organize the assault team. You’re in command of the assault team, over."

Yang Yi stuck his head forward, asking Jenny, "And what about you?"

Without any hesitation, Jenny said, "I’m not combat personnel, of course, I’ll stay outside."
