Chapter 479: Chapter 467 Exciting, huh

Yang Yi stared blankly; his conversation with Xiao Ran had only lasted a few dozen seconds, which meant that when Terry had called him just now, he was already in this hotel, at most just two floors away.

Even if the cleaners were impressive, they shouldn’t be this capable. If the cleaners truly were that powerful, they would have taken over the world by now.

Yang Yi was indeed profoundly shocked, and seeing the astonished look on Yang Yi’s face, Terry smiled and said, "I can only say it’s purely coincidental. I also chose to stay at this hotel, but this isn’t really that unexpected, is it."

Terry, in his forties, wore a jacket and was not very tall—about five feet eight inches. He appeared quite ordinary to most people, but in Yang Yi’s eyes, he was anything but ordinary.

"Yes, it really isn’t that unexpected. Please come in, Mr. Terry, let’s talk inside," Yang Yi said.

Yang Yi invited Terry into the room, and then he said to Rodriguez, "Close the door for me and keep an eye out outside."

Rodriguez shut the door and left. At that moment, Xiao Ran looked a bit uncomfortable as she said, "I’ll go prepare something for you to drink..."

Terry nodded slightly and replied, "No need to trouble yourself, thank you."

Xiao Ran was just looking for an excuse to leave, to give Yang Yi and Terry space to talk alone, but since Terry had said there was no need, that meant she did not have to leave.

"Please sit down, Mr. Terry."

Terry pulled up a chair and sat down, then he said with a serious face, "There’s civil unrest in Ukraine; I’m here to handle some matters. My position is currently the highest in Ukraine, so I am your point of contact for the time being."

Yang Yi nodded and replied, "All right."

Terry continued, "Let’s go back to the sketch of the second person you provided. After comparison and analysis, it looks very much like a person we had suspected before. So now, I need a more detailed sketch from you."

"I’ll draw it right away."

Yang Yi turned around and continued refining the details of the second sketch.

Terry waited quietly until Yang Yi finished the second portrait, which took half an hour.

Terry received the portrait, and he quickly sent it out. In less than a minute, he nodded and said, "Confirmed, it’s the same person."

Yang Yi said in a deep voice, "Can you tell me the identity of this person? I have the right to know, don’t I?"

Terry smiled and replied, "Of course. This person’s public identity is that of a significant trader in the Zurich gold market. Four years ago, we confirmed that a Grey-cloaked Person had contact with him, but his actions weren’t abnormal afterward. However, in the past year, he has purchased a batch of physical gold, but the buyer’s identity is unclear, as is the gold’s whereabouts. Since then, we’ve started keeping an eye on him."

Yang Yi frowned, "A trader in the Zurich gold market?"

Terry nodded, "The information you provided is very valuable. It’s a major breakthrough for us."

Yang Yi laughed, "Oh, if that’s the case, then as a collaborator, can I avail myself of the proper benefits?"

"You already have. That is becoming our client and a formal collaborator. Mr. Sea God, you might not yet fully grasp how difficult it is to become our client, nor how precious it is. I want to explain seriously that these are things money cannot buy."

Yang Yi nodded, "All right, go on."

Terry asked sternly, "So, are you sure you want to become our client now?"

"Yes, I’m willing to become a client for the cleaners."

Terry exhaled a sigh of relief and said, "Good. I will explain the rules for our clients later. For now, let’s focus on more important things. At the airport, did you notice any other important figures?"

Yang Yi spread his hands, "I can keep drawing until I’ve sketched every person I saw."

Terry took a deep breath, then with a look of emotion, he said, "Your talent is truly unbelievable. Please start now, I can wait."

Yang Yi turned back to the table. After thinking for a moment, he said, "There was one person who kept standing by and watching without working. I think he might be of some value. So let’s draw him first."

Yang Yi spent half an hour drawing another portrait. Just like before, Terry transmitted the image back, and after a few minutes, with barely concealed excitement, Terry said to Yang Yi, "On behalf of the cleaners, I extend congratulations and thanks, Mr. Sea God. A big catch!"

Pointing at the portrait Yang Yi had just drawn, Terry said in a low voice, "We’ve confirmed him. He’s the airport commander, a Polish Air Force Major General. Now, we’ve also ascertained the airport."

After finishing, Terry’s voice trembled as he said, "In all my years of working in this field, I’ve never encountered such precise identity confirmation without photographs or recording equipment. It’s something I never even dreamed of. You have an extraordinary brain; it’s enviable."

After musing to himself, Terry looked down at his phone, his expression turning more somber.

After a brief contemplation, Terry suddenly asked, "I have a question for you. Are you willing to help us with a matter right now, in your capacity as a collaborator?"

Without any hesitation, Yang Yi replied, "Please tell me."

Terry took a breath and said, "The remaining portraits can be done whenever you have time. For now, having ascertained the airport and the personnel involved, we may try to seize that batch of gold, but we usually outsource such missions. Right now, I don’t have the right personnel available. Since Organization of Water is capable of taking action, would you be willing to take part in this operation?"

To steal back the gold that had just been conned and then sold, and to do it on behalf of the cleaners, Yang Yi had to admit that he had never imagined such a maneuver.

"Seize that batch of gold? This..."

Terry said in a firm voice, "We will start tracking the whereabouts of the gold, and if we succeed—I mean if—we will make a move. So, are you willing to participate in this mission?"

A joke, Yang Yi was unwilling.

Seeing Yang Yi’s expression, Terry said apologetically, "I may have been a bit too eager. You don’t have to rush your decision. Right now, it’s just an idea we have, but whether we can act on it depends on receiving accurate intelligence. So, Mr. Sea God, you can decide whether to participate after we obtain more definite information."

Yang Yi smiled, "These past few days, regarding this gold... it certainly has been... thrilling."

Terry laughed, "Life needs excitement."

Yang Yi waved his hand, "Okay, I’ll ask first. As a collaborator, if I take on your task, what benefits can we get?"
