And Tang Guo sat in front of the computer, taking in this busy scene.

Yang Yi’s goal was clear, and his means were simple: first deal with Martin Howard and, after gaining access to the supercomputer at Imperial College, head straight to the Home Office building.

Kate was applying makeup to Yang Yi, and this time it wasn’t just a bit of concealment; she was transforming Yang Yi into a completely different person.

After two hours of effort, Yang Yi had taken on the appearance of a middle-aged white man, and with the addition of green-colored contact lenses, he could no longer recognize himself.

Even Kate couldn’t recognize that the white man who had emerged under her hands was Yang Yi.

After examining Yang Yi carefully for a long time, Kate nodded and said, "Alright, open your mouth."

Yang Yi opened his mouth wide, and Kate sprayed something that looked like asthma spray into his mouth. After waiting a moment, Kate said in a grave voice, "Now, try speaking."

"Hello."

Kate thought for a moment, then she said in a deep voice, "Is this tone alright? Remember to spray every hour, or your voice will start to change back."

Yang Yi’s voice was deeper than before. He picked up the spray and asked, "There won’t be any side effects, will there?"

"Basically negligible side effects; it won’t cause much harm to the body. Of course, use it as little as possible."

Yang Yi pocketed the spray and then stood up, donning a black suit over his frame and tightening his tie before saying to Kate, "Not bad, I can’t even recognize myself."

Kate replied calmly, "Just wait a moment, my makeup will be quick."

Kate put on a wig and contact lenses that altered the size of her eyes, then all she needed was to change her clothes, as she and Xiao Ran did not need to get close to Martin Howard and didn’t require heavy makeup like Yang Yi.

After securing the wireless communication equipment and placing the knife on her body, it was also necessary to carry a gun. Although Yang Yi wasn’t skilled with firearms, they were useful for intimidation.

Once everything was ready, Yang Yi checked his watch and said, "All set, now we head to Imperial College."

It was already half-past four in the afternoon. Martin Howard would leave the school gates at half-past five. There was plenty of time, and it was just right.

When they arrived near Martin Howard’s house, Yang Yi stopped the car and then said in a deep voice, "Xiao Ran will keep an eye on Martin, Kate and I will wait at his home. It’s better to act at home, less likely to be discovered."

Xiao Ran got out of the car and headed for the supercomputing center, while Yang Yi walked to Martin Howard’s front door with Kate.

Pulling out two thin pieces of steel wire, Yang Yi stood in front of Martin Howard’s door, inserted one wire into the lock, and then slowly pushed the other in, twisting gently until the lock clicked open.

Kate couldn’t resist asking, "How did you learn to pick locks?"

"Do you even need to ask? Of course, it was the University of Prison."

Turning the doorknob, Yang Yi looked back at Kate with a smile and said, "Please, after you."

Barking twice from inside the house, Yang Yi opened the front door and entered with Kate.

The house wasn’t very big, but it was nicely decorated, tasteful, and cozy. However, as Yang Yi and Kate stepped into the living room, they heard a dog barking from behind a nearby door.

Kate stepped forward and opened the door, at which point Cody, the dog, rushed out. But Cody didn’t bark wildly; instead, it wagged its tail incessantly at Kate.

Grabbing the dog’s collar, Kate retrieved the listening device she had planted there the previous day and couldn’t help but stroke the dog’s head, saying, "Good boy, don’t bark."

Yang Yi looked around the house and found it was a room specially prepared for dogs, large and full of toys.

After touring all the rooms in the house, Yang Yi returned to the living room and said, "Everything is normal, now we just need to wait for Martin Howard to come back."

At five-thirty, Martin Howard punctually walked out of the supercomputer center’s main gate.

Upon sighting Martin Howard, Xiao Ran brought her cuff to her mouth and whispered, "Target spotted, over."

"Received, over."

Yang Yi couldn’t help but smile, but since many parts of his face were covered with silicone, the smallest expressions were hard to detect; makeup isn’t like changing faces, after all, and subtle traces could still be noticed.

Kate, while playing with Cody, said to Yang Yi, "Try not to smile, because it doesn’t look natural. After makeup, try to act more serious, and now, reapply some voice-changing spray, your voice is starting to change."

"Okay, got it."

He took out the spray and applied some into his mouth, then Yang Yi smiled at Kate, "How about it, nervous?"

Kate shrugged, "Nothing to be nervous about, it’s not my first time doing this."

Just then, Xiao Ran’s voice came softly through the walkie-talkie, "Target is about to head home, over."

"Received."

Yang Yi gestured to Kate, signaling her to take Cody back to the room, while he propped his legs up on the sofa.

"Target is about to enter, over."

Yang Yi didn’t respond, he just sat upright on the sofa.

The door opened, and Martin Howard entered, closing the door behind him with a backhand, then placed his briefcase on the shoe cabinet by the door and loudly called out, "Cody, I’m back."

Cody, who had been playing with Kate, immediately barked, and at that moment, Yang Yi, legs propped up on the sofa, said leisurely, "Hello, Mr. Howard."

Only then did Martin Howard notice Yang Yi’s presence.

"Who are you? Why are you in my house? What do you want?"

Pointing at Martin Howard, Yang Yi said in a deep voice, "Please sit down, I have something to discuss with you. I’ll try not to hurt you, but if you scream, I will have to make you be quiet."

Yang Yi drew a handgun, but he didn’t point it at Martin Howard; instead, he placed it on the coffee table, immediately followed by extracting a recording pen, shaking it at Martin Howard, and then putting it down on the table as well.

"Please have a seat, I have something here that you will definitely be interested in. Why not sit down and enjoy it together?"

Martin Howard stared at the handgun, terrified, but his feet remained unmoved, just fearfully looking at Yang Yi, "What do you want to do?"

"Come over, sit down, don’t make me say it a third time!"

Finally, Martin Howard moved; he slowly walked to the sofa and sat down in a single seater.

"What do you want?"

Yang Yi picked up the recording pen, pressed the play button, and as Martin Howard’s voice started to play, he slowly said, "Does this voice sound familiar, Professor Howard?"

Martin Howard’s face changed dramatically, and then he said in a trembling voice, "You’re surveilling me; what exactly do you want?"

Yang Yi slowly said, "Quite simple, just to borrow the supercomputer you manage for a bit."
