Yang Yi made a gesture, indicating a change in the situation, then subconsciously turned his head to look back.

Looking back because there was a place Yang Yi had passed by but had not actually entered.

There was a bench by the roadside. Brian sat down on the bench, and Yang Yi and Zhang Yong immediately sat down as well.

Brian pulled out a cigarette, and as he lit it, he whispered, "What’s wrong."

"The signal disappeared."

Brian lit the cigarette, then covered his mouth with his hand and whispered, "It disappeared suddenly?"

"Yes, it didn’t move, still within the range of this building’s base station, but it just vanished."

Brian frowned and whispered, "No one is following us, and no conspicuous person is watching us, the signal suddenly disappearing shouldn’t mean we’ve been exposed."

Yang Yi whispered, "I thought of a possibility, the fitness center, the lockers there are all made of metal, the most common type of locker, so if a phone is left inside when changing clothes, there’d be no signal."

Brian whispered, "A hitman, how could they possibly lock an important phone in a locker."

"What if the phone isn’t important?"

Yang Yi countered, and Brian thought for a moment before whispering, "That makes sense."

Yang Yi lowered his head and wiped his forehead, whispering, "My most important phone is a satellite phone, and cell phones are disposable at any moment, especially a dedicated phone that can be discarded after its mission is complete."

Brian whispered, "This theory has too many holes, I don’t think the target would go to the gym at this time, but indeed we should check out the gym, because other than this somewhat illogical theory we don’t have a more reasonable one, although not very convincing, there’s still a possibility, so we should go have a look."

Yang Yi whispered, "Checking it out won’t cost us anything, but there’s a problem, I don’t speak French!"

"All three of us speak French."

"Who will accompany me?"

Brian thought for a moment before whispering, "Kate and I, we are not members of the gym, entering with too many people at once would be suspicious, now I am Kate’s father and you are Kate’s husband, we’ve come together to check out the gym’s environment."

Yang Yi gestured nonchalantly, and Kate moved closer to him, pretending to make a phone call with her back to Yang Yi, and asked, "What’s wrong."

"I know you speak French, but how well do you speak it?"

"Very well, as good as a native language."

Yang Yi whispered, "Now you are Owl’s daughter, and I am your husband, the three of us will look inside the gym."

Zhang Yong immediately stood up and moved to one side, while Kate sat down next to Yang Yi.

If Bass had seen what had happened to Yang Yi and his group, then they would have been exposed by now, but the issue was that time was tight and they really didn’t have the opportunity to go to a safe place to discuss what to do next.

Of course, Kate was also in disguise, now looking to be in her thirties, perfectly matching Yang Yi’s appearance as a married couple.

Yang Yi, Brian, and Kate got up and began to walk towards the fitness center, and on their way to the gym, Yang Yi, still holding the phone he hadn’t hung up, said, "Cheese, we’re going to check out the gym."

Mike said indifferently, "Alright, the gym, tell me the name."

Yang Yi had already arrived at the entrance of the gym. He glanced at the sign and spoke softly, "The name."

Kate whispered, "Perfect Fitness Center, the name is ’Perfect’."

In English, Yang Yi whispered, "Perfect Fitness Center, we’re going in."

Mike said, "Ok, end the call now, tell me if you find anything."

Yang Yi and the other two walked through the large doors of the gym, and right away, Kate and Brian’s conversation turned into French.

The gym was very spacious, but there were very few people inside around noon. Scanning the vast gym, there were only ten people in total, and among them, only three were clients actually working out; the rest were staff wearing the gym’s uniform and personal trainers.

Yang Yi and his group went straight to the reception where a receptionist stood up and greeted them with a smile, "Hello, how can I help you?"

Kate responded with a smile in French, "My husband and I have just moved to the area. We would like to get memberships to work out here, and also for my father. My husband and I think it’s time he started exercising as well."

The receptionist immediately smiled broadly, "Choosing our gym is a very wise decision. We are currently having a promotional offer where the first month’s membership is only ten Euros, which gives you access to every single facility at our gym, all of them."

Brian looked annoyed, just like an old man dragged in for exercise by his daughter, and said, "Can we take a look around the environment? I’m not sure yet if I want to work out here."

The receptionist smiled, "Of course, I would be honored to give you a tour. Please follow me."

The receptionist began to point out all the merits and rules of the gym, guiding Yang Yi and his companions through a sizable equipment area and various functional rooms. Brian and Yang Yi kept a critical eye on everything, yet they didn’t show any sign of impatience.

After having seen most of it, Brian spoke sternly, "Let’s check out the changing room, I’m quite concerned about that."

Since the men’s changing room was off-limits to the female receptionist and Kate, Yang Yi and Brian pushed open the door and entered.

It was clear the changing room was meant for changing and showering, as there was nobody inside. Yang Yi and Brian exchanged glances before Brian quickly walked into the bathroom to take a look. He then shook his head at Yang Yi, signaling that no one was there.

After inspecting the gym, there was not a single person of interest.

Disappointed, Yang Yi and Brian walked out. Once outside, Brian, wearing a dissatisfied look, said, "Don’t you have any private changing rooms? I don’t like public changing rooms. You should at least have some individual ones for clients who can afford them."

The receptionist replied apologetically, "Sorry, we do not have individual changing rooms."

Just then, Yang Yi saw a door with a sign hung on it, a double iron door with a large poster of a boxer on each side; it was not apparent that it was a door from a distance.

Following Yang Yi’s gaze, Brian said loudly, "Fearless Boxing Club, the boxing club, that I find quite interesting. Do you have a boxing ring? Can we take a look?"

The receptionist replied with an apologetic face, "I’m sorry, the boxing club is membership-based, but only those who receive an invitation can become members. I’m very sorry."

Interested, Brian asked, "So how does one receive an invitation?"

The receptionist still had an apologetic look, "Only famous boxers can receive an invitation. As for regular members, they can only be invited if two or more current members co-sponsor the invitation, so, unfortunately..."

Interesting, an affordable gym running a boxing club that doesn’t allow just anyone in. That isn’t the way a normal gym operates, but it wasn’t wise to force entry at this point. Hence, visibly irked, Brian ended the tour. On their way out, he grumbled all the way, leading Yang Yi and Kate out of the gym.
