Chapter 233: Chapter 232 Casino

"Where could Zhang Yong be?"

"Where else could he be after arriving in Las Vegas, if not at one of those big casinos?"

"I’m asking you which casino he’s in!"

"Bellagio, MGM, Caesar’s Palace, he’s bound to be at one of those famous big casinos for sure."

Xiao Ran rolled her eyes irritably, "So you don’t actually know. With so many big casinos in Las Vegas, how long will it take us to find him?"

Yang Yi was driving the car as they were about to enter downtown Las Vegas.

It was daytime, and Las Vegas was still in a state of calm, only revealing its glitzy side at night.

"Let’s just find a place to stay for now, and at night we’ll search the big casinos one by one. I don’t think it should be hard to find him since Zhang Yong only plays Blackjack and Texas Hold’em."

Xiao Ran rolled her eyes at Yang Yi again, then with a look of disdain she said, "Easy to find? Let me ask you, if Zhang Yong is gambling in a VIP room, how do you plan to find him?"

Yang Yi was momentarily stunned by the question, then he whispered, "That shouldn’t be the case, I don’t think Zhang Yong has that much money."

"What if he does?"

"Then... I don’t know. I’ve never been in a casino, I have no idea."

Xiao Ran sighed and said, "Then we’ll just have to search slowly. I thought we would find Zhang Yong quickly. Now, it’s all up to luck. Let’s go to Caesar’s Palace, I like that place better."

"Alright, are you very familiar with casinos?"

"My foster mother has taken me a few times. I don’t come very often, so I can’t say I’m especially familiar, but I’m not completely unfamiliar either."

Xiao Ran pointed down a road, "Go that way. There are lots of shows to see in Las Vegas, and if you want to enjoy yourself, it’s not bad to check them out. We can switch hotels every day and search slowly. Oh, I really don’t know what to say, coming to Las Vegas to look for someone is just crazy."

There was nothing else to say. Zhang Yong liked to gamble and he had told Yang Yi he liked to go to Las Vegas to gamble. Then Zhang Yong ran off without a word, even saying Yang Yi should know where to find him. Given that, where else could Yang Yi go to look for him if not Las Vegas?

But the problem was that looking for someone in Las Vegas was too hard. As one of the world’s two major gambling cities, who knows how many people come and go here every day? Besides, Las Vegas has over two hundred casinos, big and small. If they were to search each one, heaven knows how long it would take.

However, based on Yang Yi’s understanding of Zhang Yong, he definitely wouldn’t go to the smaller casinos. The reason was simple: Zhang Yong was the kind of person who would go to the best casinos, gamble, and then lose the most money.

Yang Yi and Xiao Ran arrived at Caesar’s Palace and checked into the hotel. While they were doing so, Yang Yi noticed that Xiao Ran had booked the best rooms.

$1,600 a night, and they got two rooms.

But there was a problem, Caesar’s Palace didn’t accept cash as a deposit, and Yang Yi only had cash.

Yang Yi felt very annoyed and also embarrassed because he needed a beautiful woman to pay for him.

Looking at Yang Yi’s flushed face, Xiao Ran casually handed over her card.

"I’ll give you the cash when we go upstairs..."

Yang Yi mumbled softly, and Xiao Ran smiled ambiguously, "No worries, it’s on me."

Yang Yi insisted seriously, "No, I must repay you."

"I don’t want all that cash. What do I need it for? To tip?"

Yang Yi whispered, "Then, consider that I owe you and I’ll pay you back later."

Xiao Ran crossed her arms and looked at Yang Yi with a smile, "Then you owe me a lot, and it’s much more important than this little bit of room fee."

Yang Yi swallowed hard and whispered lower, "It’s different, you can owe favors, but not money, ’not repaying money makes you a bastard.’"

Paying for a beauty made him feel embarrassed, but he couldn’t deny that staying in a room that cost over a thousand US Dollars a night was fantastic.

Superb, super spacious, but it was a bit dull being alone.

Nothing else mattered because Yang Yi seldom had the chance to rest, so he spent the whole afternoon soundly sleeping in his room.

Only when night fell did Yang Yi meet up with Xiao Ran, then after a casual meal at the buffet, they headed to Caesar’s Palace Casino.

Caesar’s Palace as a whole was styled after Greece, and if there was one word to describe it, it would be ’luxurious.’ There wasn’t much else to say, it was just luxury upon luxury, nothing else.

It was particularly challenging to find someone in the casino because Las Vegas had too many entertaining spots, and the trouble was not knowing when Zhang Yong would come to gamble or until what time, so looking through every casino all night was meaningless. They could only wait in one place.

Yang Yi didn’t exchange for chips since he didn’t plan to gamble, so he just walked around the blackjack and Texas Hold’em tables with Xiao Ran a few times.

The result was, of course, that they didn’t find anyone.

There were quite a few people in the casino, and although it wasn’t extremely noisy, it certainly wasn’t quiet. After walking around a couple times, Xiao Ran said to Yang Yi, "Stop looking here, we need to go to the VIP room, at least to the place where they buy chips for over a hundred thousand US Dollars."

The VIP rooms also had levels, but Yang Yi also believed that Zhang Yong should be in the standard of over a hundred thousand US Dollars, although he wasn’t sure about Zhang Yong’s financial capabilities, he knew Zhang Yong’s personality.

Buying chips was just buying chips, once they got enough, they could enter the VIP room, and if they didn’t gamble, the money could still be exchanged back anyway.

But as Yang Yi was following Xiao Ran to buy chips, he saw two Asian faces that felt very familiar to him.

There were many Asians in Caesar’s Palace Casino, many of whom were tourists coming to gamble a little for the experience, so running into two Asians was not a big deal, even if those two Asians had just bought fifty thousand US Dollars in chips.

The problem was, Yang Yi felt one of them looked very familiar.

With Yang Yi’s memory, he wouldn’t find someone familiar without being able to recall who it was, but he just felt this person looked familiar, yet he didn’t recognize him.

Yang Yi stood to the side and started to think hard. Xiao Ran approached and whispered, "What’s wrong?"

"I saw someone who looks very familiar, but I don’t recognize him. It’s strange. Who does he remind me of? Damn, Benjamin!"

Yang Yi suddenly exclaimed in a low voice, startling Xiao Ran, who asked, "Who?"

"Benjamin Park! The Korean I put in prison, the one who then wanted to kill me."

Xiao Ran glanced at the two Asians who had just exchanged chips and left, and whispered, "You don’t recognize him?"

Yang Yi whispered back, "He’s not Benjamin, but he looks a lot like Benjamin, almost too much. You can’t say they were cut from the same cloth, but at least a seventy percent resemblance!"

"Cut it out, they must have had plastic surgery."

Yang Yi had to consider the possibility of plastic surgery, but he immediately said, "Had surgery and still this ugly? And so consistently ugly? Plus, did you hear that? They were speaking Korean. Do you think it’s possible they could be brothers?"

Xiao Ran shrugged, "It’s a possibility, but isn’t that too much of a coincidence?"

Yang Yi looked towards where the two had disappeared and said in a lower voice, "I’ve been wanting to find that Benjamin for a long time. I’ll go take a look; a little probing won’t waste time."
