Chapter 207: Chapter 206 Just Name It Randomly
Brian joined in, and then he looked towards Paul and Charles, his voice grave, "I can’t command you now, nor do you need to follow in my footsteps, so what’s your choice?"
Paul waved his hand and said, "This is the day I’ve been waiting for."
"As I wished, so of course I’ll join."
Without any surprise, Paul and Charles chose to join, and Mike waved his hand and said, "Very well, now we are a spy organization. Sit down, let us plan for the future."
Paul stood up, grabbed a chair, and sat down to the left of Brian, while Charles also grabbed a chair and sat down to the right of Brian.
Mike glanced at Yang Yi, who was still standing off to the side, and said, "Please, take a seat."
Yang Yi looked around and saw no chairs nearby, so he sat on the sofa next to Mike.
Mike shook his head and said, "No, you can’t sit there. Although this is a round table meeting, you are the main character, so you have to sit here."
Mike got up, went to the dining room to grab two chairs, placed one in the middle, and directed Yang Yi, "Please sit, this is your spot, and I’ll be over here."
Yang Yi sat in the middle, to his right were Brian and the other two, and to his left was Mike.
Yang Yi had previously been very humble about his position, as he was facing four old agents with ample experience and formidable skills, while he was a freshly minted rookie, or as Danny put it, he was less than a rookie, just a small egg. How could he deserve to sit among these powerful figures?
But now, it seemed Yang Yi was supposed to play the role of the boss who presided over the situation.
Yang Yi looked at Brian and then at Mike, and upon realizing they were both watching him, he said softly, "Please, begin."
Mike and Brian shook their heads together.
Mike spoke gravely, "Because I had no intention of founding a new organization, nor of leading one. I’ve said I would leave after achieving our goals. You’re the one in charge, I’m just an auxiliary role. No matter the field, it’s important to be clear about who’s the boss. Since you’re the boss, it’s you who must preside!"
Brian nodded and then said to Yang Yi, "Yes, you are the linchpin that allows us to cooperate, so you’re the key figure. Now we must work together under your banner. Please don’t be shy, go ahead and host this round table meeting."
This was an alliance-like cooperation, and among the three parties collaborating, Yang Yi was the weakest, yet he was the key to making this cooperation possible.
Yang Yi took a breath and then said with a serious tone, "Alright, let’s get started."
No sooner had Yang Yi spoken than Mike immediately followed, "Now we will start preparing for the important tasks that lie ahead. First, you need to leave the United States; it’s no longer safe here. I will arrange for your departure, so don’t worry about this part."
"How will we leave?" Brian asked seriously.
Mike shook his head, "Certainly not by going to the airport and strolling through. It’s not very complicated, but it requires utmost caution. I must assume the worst, which is that you are already on the CIA’s radar and they are searching for you, so our departure from the United States can’t be rushed. I think we will need at least a week."
After speaking, Mike looked at Yang Yi and asked, "Has your identity been exposed?"
"No, it shouldn’t have been."
Mike promptly said, "Good, let’s split up then. Right now, Brian and the others are in the most danger. If you come with us, you might be exposed to CIA’s lookout. I will take them to Europe first, and we will meet there."
"And after we get to Europe?" Brian asked intently.
Mike looked at Yang Yi and said, "The first thing, we’ll take care of the Destroyer. This will also take time; the preliminary preparations might be lengthy. I need to find the right people before we can officially begin. Wait, what’s our name?"
Brian and Mike both looked at Yang Yi, and then Brian said, "Right, what’s the name of your organization?"
Like a host, Yang Yi had only said the meeting was underway, and he had nothing to do with the rest; it was Mike and Brian who truly decided on the agenda. But now, they both suddenly asked him a crucial question, and Yang Yi, the host, was at a loss for words.
Opening his mouth hesitantly, Yang Yi said in a low voice, "Name?"
"Yes, the name. We’re going to start collaborating within the framework of your organization. We’ll have to use this organization’s name for future external contacts and recruitment, so you at least have to tell us what your organization is called," Brian elaborated.
After Mike finished speaking, Brian also nodded, "Exactly, what’s the name?"
The corner of Yang Yi’s mouth twitched as he said, "We don’t have a name, I haven’t thought about this."
Mike and Brian were left speechless, and Yang Yi weakly suggested, "How about we come up with a name right now?"
As soon as naming was mentioned, Paul immediately exclaimed with enthusiasm, "I have a suggestion, how about The Punisher?"
Charles rolled his eyes at Paul, and Mike completely ignored Paul’s suggestion, turning to Yang Yi and saying, "Then come up with a name, it’s your organization, you decide what to call it."
Paul insisted loudly, "I think The Punisher is quite good."
Yang Yi looked at Paul, but Brian rejected the idea with a wave of his hand, "No, The Punisher is not suitable."
Yang Yi retracted his gaze and then softly suggested, "How about Dragon Group? The most mysterious and formidable force in legendary Huaxia, heh, haha, I’m just joking..."
Seeing that Mike and the others weren’t impressed, Yang Yi chuckled awkwardly and then said with a troubled face, "I really haven’t considered a name, could you give me a suggestion, please?"
Paul hurriedly said, "It must be powerful, memorable, we’re going to use this name often in the future, so it absolutely can’t be unappealing."
Mike spoke earnestly, "It shouldn’t be ambiguous, and it should also convey the meaning clearly upon hearing it. If you choose an obscure word that many can’t understand, that would be awkward. After all, it’s just a name, anything sounds good once you get used to it, just pick anything, we’re waiting on you."
Yang Yi began to reminisce about the names he knew—the Grey-cloaked People, Dark Night Knight, Shadow, Destroyer, Singer—each of these names seemed okay, but coming up with one for his own organization seemed so hard.
While Yang Yi pondered, Mike once again said in a serious tone, "Avoid names with a strong aggressive connotation, like The Punisher, or those that clearly indicate an affiliation, like the Avengers. Don’t pick names with an obvious ethnic connotation, like Huaxia Avengers; anything else is fine."
