Chapter 1315: Chapter 1320: Ferocious Beast Unleashed

The sky was just beginning to lighten.

The surroundings of the grand temple were piled with explosives, set up by Steel Madonna’s people; the only switch was in Viper’s hand.

Viper wouldn’t personally take part in the attack. He had shot and killed two people, but this didn’t mean his combat skills were exceptional. In fact, Viper’s role was that of a commander, which is why he wouldn’t engage in the attack.

However, Viper held the detonator.

If Steel Madonna launched her final assault on four hundred, Viper would detonate the explosives, burying Satan and his men together.

Steel Madonna’s assault team had been assembled, picked from the best of the best sharpshooters, just to preemptively blow off the enemy’s heads before anyone could blow off Baghdadi’s head, just for that slight bit of hope.

Viper decided to launch an attack right before Satan made his breakout, not too early, not too late. Although it wasn’t possible to accurately know the exact moment Satan would initiate his attack, he wanted to get as close as possible, because only at the precise moment just before the enemy’s attack would their attention on defense be at its lowest.

No matter what, Satan was done for. Anton didn’t want to acknowledge this reality, but he would accept it.

The detonator was remotely controlled, an old-fashioned detonator that pulls up and presses down, once it flows electricity, the explosive points surrounding the great hall would sequentially blow up.

The explosive points were connected to the detonator by wires, and the detonator was in Viper’s arms.

"Brothers, this is the last battle; I will be with you. If successful, we’ll celebrate; if failed, I’ll be buried with you here."

Viper finished speaking, waved his hand, and softly said, "Go on."

Anton getting close to Viper would be dangerous because Viper’s distance was too close to the explosive points. Once detonated, Viper himself would die, thus Anton being too close to Viper would certainly die as well.

Yet Anton still walked towards Viper, even though it would easily expose him.

Viper looked at Anton. Anton’s face was one of helplessness. He patted his waist and said, "No gun, I really... just don’t want to miss the chance to witness this battle, really. I hope you understand, as a combat expert, if I miss this kind of battle, I’ll never have the chance to see it again in my lifetime, observing closely, not through videos."

Viper nodded slightly. He beckoned and said softly, "Then come and watch; if I’m to detonate, perhaps you’ll have time to leave."

Anton and Viper walked to a relatively safe, yet close enough distance together.

Viper knelt on one knee on the ground, with the detonator by his side.

The assault team advanced holding shields; they were already at the door, and the attack began directly.

The sky had barely lightened.

No grenades were thrown first; no preparations were made because they wanted suddenness, just a surprise assault, paving the way with the lives of those sharpshooters among Steel Madonna.

The two sides met at the entrance of the back door.

The shield blocked the door.

Yet the shield along with the two people behind suddenly fell backward.

A narrow path encounter, a true narrow path encounter.

"Kill!"

A loud shout sent a tremor through Anton’s heart.

A bayonet, the first person to charge used a bayonet, the correct choice, because when both sides were within reach, the bayonet was faster than a gun.

Only the bayonet could be seen; the person couldn’t be seen.

"Kill!"

Another loud shout, a foot stepped out.

"Kill!"

Another Steel Madonna person fell, then a person jumped out like a lion pouncing on prey.

Anton felt like a big drum was beating deep in his ears and in his heart.

"Kill!"

"Kill!"

"Kill!"

With a thud, that was because the person using the bayonet had slammed the gunstock hard onto someone’s face.

Anton finally distinguished it, he wasn’t mistaken; there really was an intense and stirring drumbeat.

That was Li Jinfang, the toad. Anton knew him; he knew Li Jinfang was an expert, but still wondered how Li Jinfang did it.

How did he manage to use the bayonet to take out six people? These were not ISIS cannon fodder, they were elite of Steel Madonna, yet Li Jinfang had picked them off with a bayonet.

But the crucial thing was Anton clearly saw Li Jinfang was constantly being shot, so he was curious as to how Li Jinfang managed, despite being shot so many times, to still thrust his bayonet forcefully?

Li Jinfang finally fell; Anton watched him go down and felt that the drumbeat became even more poignant.

To send off a top-tier expert with this stirring drumbeat was fitting.

Li Jinfang fell, but there was more out from behind him.

First fired a gun, then fired again, killed two people, but while shooting, he was already hit.

Li Jinfang lasted only about two seconds. The one coming out from behind couldn’t sustain longer because anyone that came out would be shot, inevitably shot.

What amazed Anton was how he still wasn’t dead.

Clearly shot hit so many times; how was he not dead?

Moreover, he was still persisting while shooting; was he made of iron?

Just when Anton was astonished, the second person charging out was finally about to fall, but he used his gun to support his body, then looked up to the sky and gave a shout.

"Ura..."

At that instant, Anton’s hair stood on end.

Such a familiar sound, such a strange sound.

That was Peter; Anton recognized him.

After Peter had been hit by countless bullets and finally knelt on one knee, subsequently collapsing onto the ground, then someone came out from behind him.

Gong Yang came out.

The Gun God came.

Satan unleashed their death deity.

Thumping sounds echoed in quick succession; it was the sound of a shotgun, Gong Yang charged out.

Bending low, sprinting extremely quickly, like a running ram, the posture wasn’t pretty, quite comical, but the running ram was launching an attack.

Every shot meant someone fell, fast beyond belief, unimaginable, at least a squad of over twenty people just went down as if circled wheat, and Gong Yang waved his scythe.

Gong Yang discarded the shotgun and switched to a pistol, continuing his shooting.

The drumbeat persisted; actually, the drumbeat just started, this song had only just begun.

Gong Yang’s slaughter had just started as well.

Gong Yang single-handedly tore open Steel Madonna’s formation; now no one could catch Gong Yang, watching one after another fall at astonishing speed, Anton finally exhaled the breath he had been holding.

In a breath, Satan charged out.

Like someone desperately holding the door, once the door shattered, a flood of beasts from behind the door instantly engulfed every blocker.

Anton retreated a step to the side because Gong Yang raised his rifle, and Anton didn’t want to be shot dead by Gong Yang.

Gong Yang raised his rifle, and then came the sound of the rifle.

Each gunshot meant someone, who was ready to encircle and annihilate Satan, was dead.

Now, Satan was encircled, but the ones being annihilated were Steel Madonna.

Anton was shocked and bewildered; things once again exceeded his imagination, but he didn’t lose focus; he kept his eye’s peripheral vision on Viper, because, when Satan, this monster got unleashed, he had to ensure these beasts didn’t die in a big explosion.
