Chapter 1304: Chapter 1309: The Sound of the Grim Reaper Swinging the Scythe
The Viper was brewing the next attack. Not all the Steel Mother forces were involved, but Anton thought that at least more than half of them would be sent into battle this time.
Azar coughed lightly, then walked to the Viper’s side.
The Viper looked at Azar with some curiosity, because he didn’t like to be interrupted when commanding an upcoming battle, especially a brutal one.
Azar coughed again, then whispered, "The people inside might be Wimber’s Black Devil forces, Russians. Their combat style is very similar to Wimber’s."
The Viper frowned, then whispered, "Wimber? We’ve tangled with Wimber before, they seem quite different. From my impression, Wimber wasn’t this formidable."
"They are Wimber’s Black Devil, the elite of the elite."
The Viper looked at Azar, nodded, and said, "Perhaps, it’s possible. Actually, it no longer matters who the people inside are. Either we all die, or they all die. I believe the people inside aren’t foolish enough to be captured alive by us. So, the only ending is for them to be completely wiped out."
After speaking, the Viper waved to the people beside him, then said sternly, "Move into the launch position. Attack at exactly twelve o’clock, synchronize time now!"
With communications jammed and the attack needing to be launched from four directions simultaneously, the Viper resorted to the most primitive method: setting a specific time to launch the attack, rather than issuing a command to start.
Azar felt he had made an unwelcome move, which made him a little angry, but seeing the Viper’s slightly impatient look, he couldn’t say anything more.
Anton, however, had a slightly different idea. Since the Viper no longer cared about who was inside, it indicated that he must be very confident about ending the battle this time.
What should be done?
Anton’s plan was to explosively breach, by blasting open the stones blocking the windows of the main hall and then launching an attack simultaneously from the front door, four windows, and the back door. This is the only way.
The Viper didn’t move, but the Steel Mother forces began to gradually disperse, quietly spreading around the main hall.
Azar tugged at Anton’s clothes and, after walking to the side with him, whispered, "It’s still quite early, about three hours away from twelve. Why wait so long?"
Anton whispered, "It’s simple. The people inside the main hall are currently in a state of extreme tension. Attacking now won’t have a sudden impact, but waiting a few hours, about a bit more than two hours, until the people inside inevitably relax from prolonged tension, might yield unexpected results."
Azar was stunned for a moment, then whispered, "Is there such a technique? I used to... cough, cough, study it."
At this moment, the Viper looked at Anton, because Anton’s voice wasn’t particularly low, so he vaguely heard some of it.
When surrounded by a team of "pig teammates", having an observer understand your intentions, even for the Viper—who was very confident in his own arrangements and neither wanted nor needed help from others—a sense of camaraderie emerged towards Anton.
"Do you think there’s anything that needs supplementing in my arrangements?"
Out of courtesy, the Viper asked Anton a question, showing respect from one strong individual to another, although the Viper truly believed his arrangements left no omissions.
Anton thought for a moment, then whispered, "Explosive entry?"
"Yes."
"Increase the intensity of the explosion, making the explosion itself part of the attack method. But be aware of the strength of the main hall, just make sure it doesn’t collapse."
The Viper nodded, and said in a deep voice, "Already at the limit."
Anton sighed and said, "Then don’t rush in immediately after the explosion. This time the opponents are unusual; we should use grenades to pave the way, and there should be more flashbangs and smoke bombs."
"Yes, there are designated people preparing to throw grenades, ensuring the maximum grenade volume is reached immediately."
Anton pondered and said, "I have nothing else to say. Next, it depends on the strength comparison between the two sides and luck. This is a face-to-face fight where every bullet must take down an enemy. It depends on both sides’ strength... uh, Armor-Piercing Shells, you must use Armor-Piercing Shells!"
"All Armor-Piercing Shells!"
The Viper appreciated Anton because Anton hit the mark with every point.
Anton didn’t want to screw over Satan, but he still mentioned all the methods he could, because the Viper’s team was Steel Mother. If Steel Mother couldn’t do these, then they didn’t deserve to be Steel Mother.
Anton thought for a moment and said, "Can I watch closely? I won’t participate in the attack, but I really want to watch closely."
The Viper said in a deep voice, "You can, because I will also be close to watch. Be safe."
The Viper gestured, and Anton followed him over. Azar thought for a moment, said nothing, and also walked over.
At a distance of only twenty meters from the hall window, the Viper stood there, then silently stood there without moving.
More than an hour passed, and Azar couldn’t help but shift. The Viper glanced at him and whispered, "Leave here; you’re not suited for this place."
The Viper glared at Azar, so Azar obediently turned around and left.
Continue waiting. Now, it’s not about who has more patience, but about the Steel Mother wearing down Satan’s patience.
Anton was worried for Satan, because he was right; the upcoming battle was an absolute test of strength, and neither side should think of getting lucky.
Whoever is stronger survives.
Anton wasn’t optimistic about Satan, even though he knew Satan had the Gong Yang, but the absolute numerical disparity was irreparable.
Furthermore, defending from inside a solid fortress isn’t entirely advantageous. Once the enemy can launch simultaneous attacks from four directions at close range, it’s tough for those inside to retaliate and defend—unless everyone inside has eyes on the back of their heads and four hands like monsters.
Monsters don’t exist. Considering the area Satan’s men had to defend, Anton thought it was difficult for them.
The time gradually approached twelve o’clock. Without giving orders, without commands, the four windows of the hall, blocked by masonry, exploded simultaneously.
In four places, with a loud explosion, Steel Mother’s first official attack began.
Teams of three jumped in through the newly blasted windows, and almost simultaneously, Anton clenched his fist instinctively, then released it, but he quickly tightened his fist again.
Because being nervous now was normal. If there wasn’t any nervousness, then it wasn’t normal.
Satan probably couldn’t hold on, Anton judged, because Steel Mother had excellent coordination, was experienced, and their combat skills were extremely adept. This level of attack was super-elite in Anton’s understanding.
Satan probably couldn’t hold on.
Another loud explosion came from inside the hall. Due to the smoke and dust, Anton and the Viper couldn’t see anything, but the explosion startled both of them.
Then the Viper lost his voice and said, "Directional Mine! How can there be a Directional Mine!"
