Chapter 1102 - 1107: Humiliation

Chapter 1102: Chapter 1107: Humiliation

Anton was driving in front because he spoke Portuguese.

They didn’t get far on the road before they encountered one police car after another, as well as riot armor vehicles - yet no one stopped Yang Yi and his team. Right now, the police were rushing to the site of the recent shootout; they wouldn’t stop every vehicle on the road.

Blocking the entire city’s roads would require the police to have a very strong rapid response capability, but Sao Paulo’s police definitely did not have this ability, let alone the entire Brazilian police force, even just to seal off the main thoroughfares.

By the time all the officers were deployed in place to block off all of Sao Paulo, Yang Yi and his group would have long since vanished.

However, the police indeed were able to seal off the immediate vicinity of the shootout incident, and that was about all they could manage.

In other words, as long as Yang Yi and his group only had to pass through one or two roadblocks and didn’t run into Nicholas’s men again, then their safety in Sao Paulo would be basically assured.

Finally, Anton came across the first roadblock.

There were only two police cars and a total of three officers standing on the road, and they didn’t check every passing vehicle. They only stopped the ones that looked like they might pose a risk for a check.

Why check vehicles that didn’t seem risky? Because what would they do if they really stopped the people who had just been involved in a massive shootout? Were they looking for trouble?

Unless reinforcements arrived - until the army or special police forces got there to conduct a strict search of each vehicle.

So, as Anton drove past the two officers, no one stopped him, especially after they saw the bat hanging from the rearview mirror; both officers tacitly turned away.

"It’s really useful, how did Xiao Dan know these two cars belong to the Bat Gang?"

Anton still couldn’t figure it out. Right now, he shared the car with Stone Statue and Xiao Ran, while Paul was also seated in the same vehicle.

"He must have just remembered, but what puzzles me is how Sea God managed to kill three people. That’s unscientific and illogical," Xiao Ran said with dissatisfaction before Paul took a breath and said, "Indeed, it’s beyond me how he could possibly achieve that—firing three shots in an instant, and all of them lethal. I only know Gong Yang could achieve that; I can manage two shots, and that’s my limit."

Xiao Ran nodded and said, "Same for me, two shots are my limit; three is impossible."

Stone Statue spoke indifferently, "Two shots, no problem; three shots, not confident."

Paul said disdainfully, "You’re not confident even with two shots."

Anton said solemnly, "I can definitely pull off two shots, but the third would need luck, or overperformance from me. While it’s not entirely impossible, it’s really difficult... so the question is how did Xiao Dan do it?"

"Maybe it was a fluke?" Xiao Ran suggested uncertainly.

"A fluke with one shot is possible, two is bearable, but nailing three in a row by fluke?"

Xiao Ran spread her hands and said, "So how do you explain it? Are we really not as good as... Xiao Dan?"

Everyone fell silent, then Paul spoke softly, "It’s illogical, just illogical!"

"Does anyone know how Xiao Dan has been practicing his marksmanship lately?"

Anton’s question silenced everyone again until Xiao Ran said in a low voice, "He’s been at the CIA training camp, practicing every day."

Paul and Stone Statue both laughed,

Paul said with a chuckle, "The CIA training camp? The one for training newbies? Please, I’m all too familiar with that place; it’s impossible."

Stone Statue nodded in agreement, "Yes, impossible, because none of the instructors can do it, so how could they teach... Sea God?"

Anton wore a troubled expression as he said, "That’s why it’s illogical. We are already the strongest shooters in the world, right? All of us are, at least we belong to the very top tier of people, is there any doubt about that?"

"No doubt."

"Of course, there’s no problem."

Paul said in a deep voice, "Then why can’t I teach the lad to shoot? He lacks talent for shooting, yet why did he accomplish what we couldn’t? Why?"

"Pure dumb luck!"

Xiao Ran said decisively, but Paul shook his head, "Don’t say it’s just dumb luck. This isn’t a matter of luck. Could it be... hidden talent?"

"But how do you explain him not being able to hit a dead man on the ground?"

After thinking for a while, Paul said, "Maybe we should ask him instead of guessing here."

Xiao Ran immediately said, "You go ask him."

Anton also said gravely, "Right, if anyone’s going to ask, you do it. I don’t want to see his smug face."

Paul let out a sigh, "Guys, he is our leader, you know. Is this really okay?"

Stone Statue said with a dismissive look, "Enough already, Sea God is really amazing. Why do all of you seem to have so little faith in him? Also, I’m very curious as to why he seems to know everything. He’s really a genius, isn’t he?"

Paul nodded, "Speaking of which, Sea God is indeed a genius. But we didn’t say he wasn’t. We were mocking his shooting skills! We definitely weren’t mocking his brain – that’s like a human photocopier."

With a serious look, Stone Statue said, "But in my view, you have no right to mock his shooting either. He can do it; you can’t. So, what gives you the right to mock him? I really admire that trick he showed. Fuck! It was really amazing!"

Anton sighed, "We... weren’t mocking, just curious."

"But you were mocking."

In the indescribably silent atmosphere, Xiao Ran let out a light sigh, "How in the hell did this bastard do it? Or rather, how exactly did he train?"

Anton said indifferently, "We’re about to lose the last of our superiority over him, truly."

Paul sighed, "What I hate most is that I once taught him how to shoot, but there was no progress at all."

Stone Statue said loudly, "Fine, I’ll ask. What’s so hard about asking? If he has mastered some advanced training methods, shouldn’t he share them with us?"

"Is it possible? Do you think there are advanced training methods out there that we don’t know about?"

Stone Statue hesitated for a moment, then finally shook his head at Paul, "Impossible, absolutely impossible. But still, no harm in asking... "

Stone Statue took the walkie-talkie from Anton and said firmly, "Hey, boss, got a question for you."

"Ask away."

"How did you do that? I didn’t see those three shots just now, so I want to know how you shot them."

"Eh, just shot randomly. Fired whenever I saw the enemy’s head pop up."

"Hmm, hmm, shot randomly?"

"Just randomly."

Stone Statue looked at the three others, all wearing expressions of dumbfounded frustration, then he spoke into the walkie-talkie again, "Then how did you train? I heard your shooting used to really stink."

"Eh, just trained randomly, you know. Just shot randomly, and shooting randomly somehow got accurate."

After hearing Yang Yi’s explanation, Xiao Ran ground his teeth and said, "This bastard is mocking us!"

Anton chuckled softly and then murmured, "Look, the lad is indeed starting to seek a sense of superiority in front of us. I knew it, I just knew he wouldn’t pass up this chance, just like we never passed up the chance to mock him before."
