Wall Street is synonymous with the financial industry. Although not all banks are on Wall Street, Petra’s father’s American Investment Bank is indeed located there.

"Buddy, relax a bit. Right now, you look like a thug who’s nervous about a robbery that’s about to happen. There’s nothing to be excited about, just take it easy."

Ferguson was speaking to Reggie, because Reggie was so excited that he was becoming nervous, continuously staring at the entrance of the American Investment Bank with an expressive face.

In a café with a view of the bank entrance, Yang Yi was browsing the internet on his phone, his back to the bank’s door. Ferguson and Reggie were sitting sideways to the bank, and Reggie’s constant glances at the bank were indeed too obviously abnormal.

Reggie turned his face back around and said with an apologetic look, "Sorry, it’s my first time on such a task."

Yang Yi put his phone back into his pocket and said, "Relax, staring at the door won’t get you anywhere, because neither Clark Roy nor his daughter Petra will come out through that door. They use their own exclusive entrance, buddy."

"Their own door?"

"Private elevator that goes straight to the underground car park, then they leave through a dedicated passage, or the private elevator goes straight to the rooftop, and then they leave by helicopter. Didn’t you read the briefing? It’s all in there."

Reggie touched his face and said, "I read it, but I... didn’t pay much attention. Sorry, may I ask a question?"

Yang Yi smiled and said, "Of course, ask me anything you want."

"Why did we come here instead of just going straight to Petra’s house to find her?"

Yang Yi exchanged a glance with Ferguson and then gestured to Ferguson, who then had no choice but to take on the task of explaining.

"Because we need to familiarize ourselves with all the environments Petra often frequents. We could find her directly at her residence, but we also need to understand her typical range of activities beforehand. So this is just preparation, a task that must be done in advance. We have to draw up an electronic map, study, and plan our route. This is her workplace, and the bank closes at night, so of course, we came to the bank during the day, and we’ll go to her place at night. Understand?"

I have to find out where Petra’s office is, what route she’ll take to get there, what work she does in her office, and then I’ll set up some surveillance equipment accordingly. Yang Yi checked his watch and said to Ferguson, "It’s work hours now; you should go in. Don’t rush; if you can figure things out, great, if not, we’ll find another way. Don’t hurry."

Ferguson nodded. He picked up his briefcase, straightened his tie, then said to Yang Yi, "Test it out."

Yang Yi also took out his tablet which was beside his feet, turned it on, glanced at it and said, "It’s time to work."

Ferguson stood up. He was dressed like a successful financial industry professional, wearing an expensive and refined suit as he energetically left the café and headed towards the bank.

Reggie whispered to Yang Yi, "So... what should I do now?"

Yang Yi looked at Ferguson’s retreating figure and said, "Go to the car and be ready to start the vehicle at any moment. Be prepared to help Ferguson escape."

Reggie paused, then said, "Just that? But there’s no danger in this task."

Yang Yi shook his head, "As a spy, never say there isn’t any danger. Always remember to have a backup plan for you and your partner, until you’re in your own grave, got it?"

"Always?"

"Always!"

"Got it. I’m on it. I will stay in the car, and even if I need to pee, I won’t get out!"

Yang Yi smiled and advised, "Here’s a tip: Buy two large-mouthed drink bottles, and remember to keep the bottles in the car. That way, you can avoid wetting your pants."

"What? Oh, I get it! Even if I pee my pants, I can’t leave my post, right? I understand, I’m on it!"

Reggie left, and even though he was just waiting in the car, he still seemed very excited.

Yang Yi, having sent Reggie off, chuckled and took out his phone again. He saw that Boer had sent a message.

"Not that one."

That’s what Boer’s message said because Yang Yi had just asked him if the bank he planned to acquire was the American Investment Bank. If it was, then he could combine Boer’s bank acquisition with the current mission.

Unfortunately, Boer had another target in mind.

"I’m at the entrance of American Investment Bank, with business to attend to. Do you have any suggestions?"

"No, when can Chris make his appearance?"

Boer had been waiting to know when Yang Yi could clear up Chris’s identity issues. Only when Chris arrived in the United States could he use Chris’s help to start the entire plan.

But so far, Chris’s identity issues had not been resolved.

"I’ll ask, don’t worry, soon."

Having reassured the impatient Boer, Yang Yi put away his phone.

It was time for Chris to come to America. He had to hurry Walter along to get things done quickly; that way, Yang Yi would have a trustworthy helper by his side.

He called Walter on his phone, and Yang Yi whispered, "There’s something I need to sort out for a friend. When can it be done?"

"Ah, these things can’t be rushed, but I can assure you it’s very close to success."

"Good, the faster, the better. I’m a bit anxious."

After hanging up the phone, Yang Yi looked out the window. Since Walter said it would be done soon, it had to be true; Walter wouldn’t lie about such things.

It was time to find some help.

Actually, Yang Yi had always wanted to bring Kate and Xiao Ran to the United States, not for any other reason, but simply because he missed them. But now, he felt it was better to have just Anton come over.

So Yang Yi sent a message to Annastasia.

"Tell Anton to come to New York to meet me."

After sending the message to Annastasia, Yang Yi thought for a moment and sent an additional message.

"Keep it confidential, even from within. Don’t let anyone other than you and Anton know."
