Chapter 385: Chapter 385: Showing off affection early in the morning

This night, An Yan was very gentle, and Fu Shiyan simply wanted to drown in her Tender Township.

He understood all too well why the ancient kings skipped the morning court, with a beauty in arms, who would still have the heart to manage state affairs?

Fu Shiyan’s nose rubbed lightly against the woman’s cute little nose, "Yanyan, are you awake?"

An Yan frowned slightly, "Don’t talk, I’m so sleepy."

Fu Shiyan hummed softly, "Then I won’t talk, how about just doing?"

An Yan couldn’t be bothered with him, this man was just too much.

She turned over, her back facing him, "I’m going to sleep a bit more, you go to the company."

Fu Shiyan chuckled quietly, "You sleep, I’ll do my part."

An Yan felt something pressing against her waist and turned around sharply, her mouth immediately sealed by the man’s.

She raised her hand to push against the man’s forehead, only to be quickly overpowered, the warmth of his breath covering her neck.

"Rather than struggling, why not enjoy it properly."

An Yan: "...Old Dog Fu, you insatiable beast!"

"Old?" Fu Shiyan’s thin lips moved to the woman’s beautiful and fair shoulder and bit down gently, "It seems I must demonstrate in action that Mr. Fu is still quite young."

An Yan fell into a deep sleep, and when she opened her eyes again, the sunlight was just right.

She got up, pulled off the covers, and staggered to her feet, her legs feeling sour and weak. She picked up her pajama pants from the foot of the bed and put them on before entering the bathroom.

Standing in front of the mirror, she pulled down her neckline to see small strawberries and cursed Fu Shiyan three hundred and sixty times in her heart.

But at least he had some conscience, after tormenting her, he’d given her a bath and blown her hair dry.

After a quick wash, she left the room.

Looking down, there were pink arrows on the floor.

An Yan followed the arrows and walked all the way to the dining room. There she saw Fu Shiyan, suited and booted, talking about a project on his computer screen.

An Yan didn’t make a sound, sitting opposite him, admiring his clear and noble demeanor.

Who would imagine, from his cultivated appearance at the moment, that behind it lay a particularly degenerate nature?

Fu Shiyan ended the video call, closed the laptop, and casually picked up a piece of paper next to it, stretching it out.

An Yan saw four big characters written on it: A Feast for the Eyes.

She supported her chin with one hand, "Are you talking about yourself?"

Fu Shiyan continued with the paper: In this world, is there anything tastier than me?

An Yan tapped her fingertips against her cheek, "You’re just a snack, not enough for a full meal."

He picked up another note, as if he could guess what she wanted to say, his replies flowing smoothly.

: With me, you get more than a snack, you can enjoy all the delicacies in the world.

An Yan’s lips parted slightly, "I don’t believe it."

: Believe it or not, you won’t know until you try.

An Yan watched as the man stood up and walked around the dining table to her, extending his hand like a gentleman.

An Yan placed her hand in his palm, and then she was swept into his embrace.

Fu Shiyan now had a white silk ribbon, which he tied over her eyes.

"What are you up to? Why all the secrecy? Are you taking me to a Farewell My Concubine dance?"

Fu Shiyan always admired her imaginative mind, which always came up with the strangest things, "How could I bear to?"

"What exactly are you planning?" An Yan’s ears twitched, "I think I heard the door opening?"

"You’re imagining things."

"How could I?" An Yan felt certain he had prepared some sort of special surprise.

At that moment, Fu Shiyan, holding her hands, walked backwards with her out of the dining room into the living room.

An Yan sniffed slightly, "What is that smell, it’s so good?"

Fu Shiyan sat her down on the sofa, "In a moment, I’ll need your help with a few actions."

"You’ve prepared a cake? And it seems there’s also the smell of crab roe buns?"

Fu Shiyan looked at the coffee table covered in various snacks, giving a signal to Assistant Han standing at the entrance.

Assistant Han immediately understood, his role was now finished, and he gently pushed the door open and slipped out.

He was already the vice president of Fu Corporation, so why was he still playing the role of an assistant?

The hardest part was that he had to endure the dog food these two were throwing so early in the morning!

He was really a poor, fated soul!

Just as he had thought, the two inside were busy making "dog food."

Fu Shiyan picked up a mini bun with his chopsticks and brought it to An Yan’s mouth, "Open up."

An Yan cooperatively obliged, and then she tasted the flavor of crab roe, "Crab roe bun? Ayan, you really outdid yourself. Give me another one."

Fu Shiyan laughed, picked another one for her, "How about trying a different one?"

"Okay."

Fu Shiyan grabbed a piece of pastry, "Try this."

"Yellow pea cake?"

Fu Shiyan hummed affirmatively, and continued to feed her a variety of snacks, "There’s another good one, I’ll give you a taste."

His fingertips brushed a piece of cream on the edge of her lips, and then he bent down to kiss An Yan’s blushing lips.

"Tiramisu." An Yan smiled, removing the white silk, and her eyes were met with a coffee table full of snacks, "I heard the door open and close just now. Was it Assistant Han?"

"No, it was Vice President Han."

An Yan burst out laughing, "Our poor Vice President Han is still playing the role of Assistant Han! Be nicer to him; after all, you should give him some time for matchmaking."

"Alright, I’ll try. Now he has time for matchmaking, but I guess he won’t have time for that once we have our wedding."

An Yan understood his implication; they had already planned to travel after their wedding, and had scheduled a six-month itinerary.

Fu Shiyan asked, "Have you eaten enough?"

"I’m full. When are you going to the office?"

"Rushing me away?"

"Picking a fight! I’m heading to the design studio. The winter collection launch is approaching, and I need to go back to revise my draft."

"Shall I take you there?"

"No need. I might come home late. You can pick up the two little ones after work and go back to the Mu Family."

"Okay."

An Yan changed into a lotus-pink mohair sweater paired with light blue jeans and light brown short boots, looking both gentle and fashionable.

The two parted in the garage.

On her way to the design studio, An Yan saw from the rearview mirror that Fu Shiyan’s car was following her, her lips curving slightly.

Only when her car stopped in the parking spot in front of the design studio did Fu Shiyan’s car turn away.

An Yan got out of the car and entered the design studio, where her title had changed from Assistant An to Galaxy at the front desk.

She arrived at Su Yue’s office and slouched down on the visitor’s chair, "Little Yueyue, a cup of freshly ground coffee."

Su Yue clicked her tongue and ordered two cups of coffee on the intercom.

She arched an eyebrow, "Did you get up to some mischief last night? You’re all hoarse."

An Yan glared at her.

Su Yue’s face was full of gossip, "Did I hit a nerve, making you embarrassed?"

An Yan sighed, "Little Yueyue, just a friendly reminder, when you tease someone, always remember whether they have any leverage over you."

Su Yue’s mouth twitched, remembering the surveillance video An Yan still had.

"You haven’t deleted it?"

An Yan’s lips curved, "The posture wasn’t bad, I don’t feel like deleting it."

Su Yue: "..."

At that moment, the office door opened, and Ruan Qingqing came in carrying a tray.

"What are you talking about? Su Yue’s face has gone all green."

Just as An Yan was about to speak, Su Yue quickly interrupted, "It’s nothing, why are you the one bringing in coffee?"

Ruan Qingqing smiled, "Song rushed to the restroom, so I made the coffee for her." She looked at An Yan, "Is Jinqiao alright?"

An Yan nodded, "Her mood has been quite stable. She’s quite sleepy now, resting at home."

Ruan Qingqing, "The incident last time was really terrifying. I’m still shaken. Next time she goes out, tell her to bring more people with her."

After chatting for a while longer, Ruan Qingqing finally left.

She went to the pantry and placed the tray on the table.

Her eyes turned dark, glimpsing a hint of malice. It had happened several times that whenever she entered, the two would change the subject.

Claiming to be good friends, yet keeping secrets that they wouldn’t share with her.

She scoffed, thinking that deep down, they never really respected her.

She took out a mobile phone and sent a message, "I’ve kept my promise to you. Now it’s your turn to repay me."
