Spoiled By My Ex-Fiance's Uncle

Chapter 377: Chapter 377: I’ll just use yours, supporting each other through thick and thin

After returning to the manor, Zhou Wenwen’s gaze still lingered on An Yan.

Fu Shiyan furrowed his brows slightly and blocked her view, "Do you need eye drops?"

Zhou Wenwen was stunned, "Eye drops? There’s nothing wrong with my eyes."

"Staring at something for too long can cause dry eyes, eye soreness, and fatigue."

Hearing this, Zhou Wenwen then realized Fu Shiyan was letting his jealousy show again.

They say women are made of water, but this man must be made of vinegar!

She let out a dry chuckle, "My eyes do feel a bit uncomfortable, I’ll go to my room to put some eye drops in."

Fu Shiyan finally felt a bit more at ease. His woman had been looked at by so many people for much of the night.

This made him very displeased.

Just as Zhou Wenwen left, Fu Jinqiao hurried over, "Younger Uncle, can I borrow Younger Auntie for a bit tonight?"

"It’s nighttime, not daytime, don’t daydream."

Fu Jinqiao pouted, "So stingy! Can’t I at least take a few photos with her?"

Fearful that Fu Shiyan would disagree, she quickly looked toward An Yan.

An Yan stepped forward and grabbed her hand, "Sure, how do you want to take them?"

"The grid style!" Fu Jinqiao handed the phone to Fu Shiyan, "Younger Uncle, help us take the pictures!"

Fu Shiyan: "..."

An Yan burst out laughing, and Fu Jinqiao asked in a low voice, "What’s wrong?"

An Yan whispered in her ear, "Your Younger Uncle’s photography skills aren’t even recognized by face recognition payment systems."

Fu Jinqiao: "..."

Somehow they managed to pick nine photos out of over fifty, and Fu Jinqiao thought her smile was starting to look stiff.

She wanted Mu Qianfan to take over, but Fu Shiyan, whether addicted to photography or something else, refused to stop, obsessively snapping away.

Luckily, they managed to choose some photos, and Fu Jinqiao sat on the sofa to edit and assemble them.

Mu Qianfan sat beside her, sighing heavily. It wasn’t an addiction Old Dog Fu had, but rather an act of revenge for monopolizing An Yan.

"Third brother, do you think the pictures I took look good?"

Mu Qianfan hummed, "Pretty."

Hearing his somewhat perfunctory tone, Fu Jinqiao was not pleased, "You didn’t even look. Just look at them!"

Sometimes, women are not totally rational. He had clearly looked, but his tone was a bit helpless, and still, it wasn’t good enough.

Mu Qianfan smiled and pulled her onto his lap, coaxing, "They look great, incredibly beautiful. My wife is stunning, completely enthralling me."

Only then did Fu Jinqiao curl her lips in a smile, "Then, shall we go to our room and you sing ’Completely Enthralled’ for me?"

"Of course, wife’s wish is my command."

...

In the dimly lit room, An Yan was pinned against the wall by Fu Shiyan, who kissed her fiercely.

After a while, his lips grazed her ear, "Did I know that you were ’Galaxy’ before?"

An Yan finally realized why this man was upset, feeling like she was kept in the dark.

She toyed with the buttons on his shirt, "I didn’t know, you never asked."

"Then tell me, what other aliases do you have?"

An Yan wrapped her arms around his neck, a playful smile lighting up her eyes, "Want to know?"

"Mm."

An Yan tiptoed closer and whispered in his ear.

Fu Shiyan, taken aback, muttered, "That impressive? Can you beat me then?"

An Yan clicked her tongue, "Whether I can beat you or not, are you going to let me win?"

Fu Shiyan softly hummed, "Aside from in bed, I’ll let you win in everything else."

"Old Dog Fu, I can never hear a serious word from you!"

Fu Shiyan lifted her up and headed towards the large bed, "Hmm, if I was too serious, how would we ever have a daughter?"

Indeed, as soon as their daughter was mentioned, An Yan turned into a fish on Old Dog Fu’s chopping board.

Afterwards, Fu Shiyan bathed An Yan, dried her hair, and was both tender and considerate, starkly different from his fierce demands in bed earlier.

An Yan glared at him, tonight this man had been particularly harsh in his jealousy.

"I’m hungry."

Fu Shiyan gently stroked her sleek, black hair, "What would you like to eat?"

"Vegetable porridge, made by you."

Fu Shiyan knew An Yan’s little scheme, using the servant’s absence to torment him, just as he had tormented her earlier.

He leaned down and kissed her hair, "I’ll go make it, just wait here."

Watching his retreating figure, An Yan lazily turned over.

At that moment, her phone on the pillow buzzed.

She answered, "Fourth brother."

"We’ve only managed to track the surveillance at the exhibition center. Su Manxi was taken by a man about 1.8 meters tall, dressed in a black suit, wearing a cap and a mask. They left the exhibition center and turned into an alley. The paths here are complex and they seem familiar with the area. We couldn’t find anything on other cameras. Little Five, I think Su Manxi might do something drastic."

An Yan pursed her lips, "Got it, fourth brother. Has Ziqiao been sent back?"

Mu Shaoze hummed softly, "He’s back. Little Five, I think I was too reckless before, I’m sorry to Ziqiao."

"Then you should treat her well from now on. Since she’s kept the child, it means she has feelings for you. I hope you don’t let her down."

"I will." Mu Shaoze looked at a note with stars on it, "I definitely will."

An Yan watched the screen darken and smiled slightly.

It seemed she was about to have a sister-in-law, a joyful thought indeed.

...

In the kitchen.

Fu Shiyan opened the refrigerator, took out bok choy and shiitake mushrooms, and fetched a piece of lean meat from the freezer.

After this period of cooking for An Yan and the two little ones, his culinary skills had particularly improved, especially in making vegetable porridge which An Yan and the two little ones loved very much.

He began by boiling water and washing rice to make porridge.

After washing the mushrooms, he blanched them in water, then slowly and meticulously sliced the pork into shreds.

Once the pork was ready, the mushrooms were also cooked.

He then switched to another knife to chop the mustard greens and mushrooms into dices.

Lastly, he stir-fried green onions with these ingredients before adding them all together into a boiling pot of rice porridge.

The aroma wafted through the air, and Fu Shiyan curled his lips in satisfaction, exceptionally pleased with himself.

"What a delicious smell!"

Fu Shiyan turned around and saw Ruan Qingqing entering the kitchen in a milky white pajama set.

He hummed lightly in response.

Ruan Qingqing smiled, "I got a bit thirsty and came down for some water."

She approached the stove, looking at the steaming vegetable porridge, "It looks quite tasty. I didn’t expect Mr. Fu to be able to cook. It’s making me a bit hungry."

Fu Shiyan’s voice was cold, "Sorry, I only made it for Yanyan and myself."

Ruan Qingqing laughed awkwardly, "I didn’t mean anything by it, just expressing my thoughts. You carry on, I’ll leave after I drink some water."

Fu Shiyan did not respond to her, and slightly furrowed his brow when he heard her footsteps fading away.

Although Ruan Qingqing hadn’t done anything inappropriate, he still felt uneasy.

However, since An Yan trusted her, he didn’t say much.

After all, any woman who spoke to him a bit too much these days displeased him.

After all, so much had transpired between him and An Yan for them to be together; he didn’t want any trivial person to cause a misunderstanding that might affect their relationship.

Twenty minutes later, the vegetable porridge was served into two bowls, placed on a tray.

Fu Shiyan put a spoon in the bowls, filled with a sense of accomplishment.

Back in the room, the aroma woke An Yan up, "It smells so good!"

Fu Shiyan, expecting praise, placed the tray on the bedside table.

An Yan kneeled and scurried to the edge of the bed, pulling the man’s neck down, "Ayan, you are so good!"

"Am I good now? Who was it that just called me Old Dog Fu and said they hated me the most?"

"Definitely not me."

Fu Shiyan kissed her nose tip, "I’ll feed you."

"Okay!"

An Yan leaned against the headboard, waiting for Fu Shiyan to feed her.

Fu Shiyan scooped a spoonful, blew on it gently, and delivered it to her lips, "Drink slowly, careful, it’s hot."

This wasn’t the first time he fed her, but An Yan still felt a sweet joy inside.

Soon, one bowl was empty.

An Yan noticed there was no spoon in the other bowl, "Where’s your spoon?"

"I’ll just use yours, that’s more romantic."

He emphasized the word "romantic" heavily, hinting at a bit of seduction.

After Fu Shiyan finished his porridge and returned the tray to the kitchen, the two of them washed up and embraced each other to sleep.

The next day, they boarded a private plane back to Hua Country.

As soon as they disembarked, they saw Si Heng with Mianmian standing beside the car.

Upon seeing Su Yue, Mianmian’s face lit up with joy, her little legs tap-dancing, wanting to get down from Si Heng.

Si Heng put her down, and the little darling sprinted towards Su Yue, her ponytail bobbing adorably.

"Dear mommy, Mianmian missed you so much!"

Su Yue bent down to scoop her up, kissing the little tot’s cheek, tickling Mianmian into giggles.

"Mommy missed Mianmian too. Have you been a good girl these past few days?"

"Yes, Mianmian didn’t fuss at night, and after daddy told a story, baby went straight to sleep."

Su Yue nuzzled Mianmian’s smooth cheek with her nose, "What a good darling you are. Mommy bought you some chocolate, would you like some later?"

"Yes, and Mianmian also wants to save some for Brother Anan and Brother Yanyan."

"Alright, we’ll share it in the car."

Si Heng strode over and greeted Fu Shiyan and the others.

Fu Shiyan said, "Could you give a ride to someone later?"

Si Heng nodded, "No problem."

Su Yue, holding Mianmian, turned around, "Gao Min and Wenwen can go with us. Qingqing can go with you; An Yan, please take her."

An Yan nodded, "No problem."

Fu Shiyan looked towards Mu Qianfan, "Third brother, could you help give a ride later? Yanyan and I have something to handle."

He referred to him as "third brother," clearly giving him due respect.

Ruan Qingqing thanked Mu Qianfan and Fu Jinqiao; Fu Jinqiao, holding her hand, said, "No need to thank, let’s go."

The group then parted ways at the airport.

Fu Shiyan started the car, and An Yan seemed puzzled, "You didn’t want to give Qingqing a ride?"

He hummed.

"What’s up?"

"Nothing, just didn’t feel like it."

An Yan laughed, "Are you afraid she’s conspiring against you?"

Fu Shiyan gave her a meaningful look, "That night I cooked porridge, she came to the kitchen for water and commented it smelled good."

An Yan raised an eyebrow, "That’s it? Aren’t you being a bit too sensitive?"

"I’m very faithful."

"Fine, I know. But don’t worry, Qingqing once saved my life; she won’t betray me."

Fu Shiyan saw An Yan staunchly defending her, he didn’t say more.

But An Yan didn’t realize that one day in the future, a tale similar to "The Farmer and the Snake" would still unfold.
