Chapter 296: Chapter 296 Tender Moments in the Coffin
The cold, cramped space was heating up progressively.
She had just mentioned maintaining stillness to preserve the oxygen level in the space.
Now, that statement had lost its effect.
The effect of the drug and five years of yearning had stripped An Yan of all reason.
That tingling sensation was sweeping through her body, and she was kissing the man’s thin lips, skillfully prying open his teeth, kissing him deeply and fervently.
Fu Shiyan had one hand on the back of her head and the other caressing her slender waist, unleashing his tumultuous desires.
Even though their reunion after five years had not lasted many days and Fu Shiyan was still amnesiac, there was no sense of strangeness between them, only a stronger attraction.
Although Fu Shiyan couldn’t remember everything that had transpired with An Yan, his body instinctively felt how familiar and fitting their intimacy was.
The blood in his veins was boiling, his heart pounding uncontrollably, and the yearning ingrained in his bones burst forth unrestrained in this moment.
Their positions changed.
The light from the mobile phone enabled Fu Shiyan to clearly see the woman’s charming face, her pale cheeks tinged with a rosy flush, her captivating red lips awaiting his harvest.
Anyone who could restrain themselves now must be a cold-blooded creature.
The rustling sounds began, and An Yan’s body, pure as white jade, shivered uncontrollably as she clung tightly to the man, "Ayan, I’m cold."
Fu Shiyan was burning up, the beads of sweat on the tip of his nose dropped onto An Yan’s tender lips and collarbone with each of his movements.
He fixated on An Yan, not missing any of her expressions.
The woman in his mind, with whom he was so intensely entangled, gradually took on a clear shape, and suddenly his eyes reddened, buried in the nape of her neck, dampening it.
An Yan also held him tightly, heartache causing her own body to tremble.
"Ayan..."
Fu Shiyan whispered gently in her ear, "Yanyan."
An Yan began to cry softly; she knew he hadn’t remembered her, but the term of endearment he used was enough.
After five years, she finally heard that call again.
It took a while for the sounds within the casket to subside.
Fu Shiyan shifted their positions once more.
An Yan lay panting on his sturdy chest and suddenly let out a soft laugh, "Ayan, am I dreaming?"
Fu Shiyan rubbed her waist, "I haven’t gone out yet, do you want to try again? Hm?"
An Yan looked up at him, propping herself half-up as she gazed at him, "Did you just cry?"
"No," Fu Shiyan denied.
"You’re lying; my neck is all wet."
"Ah, cried out of pleasure. Weren’t you?"
An Yan’s tears were not only for her own hardship of waiting for five years, but also for the heartache she felt for Fu Shiyan’s ordeal over those years.
Fu Shiyan’s tears were simply because he felt he had wronged An Yan and their child, having missed out on five years of being there for them.
Both understood without saying anything, because of their mutual heartache.
An Yan poked the man’s handsome face with her fingertip, "Still as cheesy as ever."
Fu Shiyan grasped her hand, "Do you like it or not?"
An Yan felt something was off, "You..."
Fu Shiyan’s Adam’s apple bobbed, "When will they be able to get here?"
An Yan pressed a button on her wristwatch, and a map appeared on the screen with a small green dot blinking incessantly, "Probably less than an hour."
This must have been Fu Jinqiao switching Bi Chong and the others’ signals. Fu Jinqiao couldn’t have arrived so early.
Fu Shiyan spoke with a hoarse voice, "Barely, but I could do it once more."
An Yan worried about the oxygen level in the coffin dropping too fast, "Ayan, as much as I want to, I don’t want people to open the coffin later and see two bodies lying on top of each other."
Fu Shiyan so wished he could meld her into his flesh and bones, "Then I’ll just kiss you."
He kissed her for a long while before stopping, gently biting her earlobe, "Once we get out, I’ll properly be your antidote. I feel you haven’t been completely detoxified."
An Yan laughed and playfully hit him.
Although they hadn’t seen each other for five years, and Fu Shiyan no longer had his former memories, there weren’t any barriers or discomfort between them.
Due to the low temperature inside the coffin, Fu Shiyan first helped An Yan get dressed, then dressed himself.
The two embraced each other as Fu Shiyan constantly rubbed her back to warm her.
An Yan smiled, "The first time I entered a tomb was with my grandfather, Bi Mang. Seeing the Everlasting Lamp burning inside, I was so frightened; I thought it had been burning for over a thousand years. It was only later that I realized when the tomb was opened, the fresh air entering the sealed chamber caused chemicals like white phosphorus to spontaneously ignite, lighting the Everlasting Lamp."
"Is Elder Bi your grandfather?"
An Yan knew he was eager to know what had happened in the past, so she began to tell him about her story, his story, and the things that had happened after they met...
Meanwhile, Fu Jinqiao non-stop prayed on the plane.
Mu Qianfan held the wrists of her hands pressed together, "Don’t worry, Bi Zhan and Bi Chong will get there before us. Little Five will be absolutely fine."
Fu Jinqiao suddenly burst into tears, "Little Five fell into the tomb and didn’t use this tracking bracelet even when faced with the mechanisms; she must be in some especially dangerous situation now. If Younger Uncle has had an accident, and if she were to have one too, what would happen to Anan and Yanyan? I pray to sacrifice ten years of my own life for Mu Anyan’s safety! Oh God, it’s Mu Anyan, make sure you save the right person, or else I’ll have sacrificed ten years for nothing."
Mu Qianfan felt a bit helpless, thinking Fu Jinqiao was adorably silly.
If sacrificing years of life in prayer worked, Fu Shiyan would have been back long ago.
He sighed and embraced her in his arms, "Stop crying, Little Five will definitely be okay."
As much as he comforted her, Mu Qianfan was extremely anxious; neither he nor the Mu Family could bear to lose Anyan again.
He looked out of the airplane window into the pitch-black night, mirroring the heaviness in his heart.
Right now, all he hoped for was that Bi Zhan and Bi Chong would find Anyan quickly.
In the desolate Western Suburbs, the only sound was the cicadas chirping from the trees.
Forty minutes later, the roaring of engines broke the silence.
The lead Gust fronted a row of ten Mercedes, stopping fifteen meters ahead of a large tree.
Bi Zhan and Bi Chong got out of the car, they examined Fu Shiyan’s empty vehicle.
Bi Chong looked at the route map on his phone screen guided by Fu Jinqiao, where a little dot was flickering and the rate of flashing was becoming more frequent.
"This has to be the place, but why can’t we see a single person? There’s no one in the car either."
Bi Zhan frowned, "The tracking bracelet developed by Yan couldn’t be wrong."
He surveyed the surroundings; within a kilometer radius, there was only this one large tree.
"Achong, go walk around in all directions."
Bi Chong nodded and started to walk back and forth, to the left and to the right of the tree. He noticed that at a certain position the signal was particularly strong.
He and Bi Zhan looked at each other, and then down at their feet simultaneously. They realized the soil beneath them had been freshly turned.
Bi Chong cursed out loud and looked toward the people coming down from the Mercedes, "Quick, get shovels, someone’s underneath!"
The two didn’t have shovels in their vehicle, and in a panic, they started digging the earth with their hands.
Soon enough, shovels were brought, and everyone began to dig.
In less than five minutes, the dark coffin was revealed.
