Spoiled By My Ex-Fiance's Uncle
Chapter 201: Missing You Like Crazy

Chapter 201: Chapter 201: Missing You Like Crazy

Silvery moonlight poured into the grand floor-to-ceiling window, casting everything in the room in a veil of silver, dreamy and poetic.

A window was open, and the light, thin curtains fluttered in the breeze.

The edges of the curtains brushed against the man’s straight, long legs.

Fu Shiyan just stood quietly behind An Yan.

Though An Yan could not hear, she could feel his presence.

"Yanyan, Yanyan..." the man’s voice was tender, murmuring the name he longed for day and night.

An Yan slowly stood up, moved around the chair, and stood in front of the man.

She raised her hand to gently touch the man’s gaunt cheeks, eyes full of compassion, "How could you have gotten so thin? It pains my heart."

"Yanyan, I missed you, I was crazy with longing. Thankfully, you are still alive, whole, and right before my very eyes," Fu Shiyan grasped her hand, gently kissing each of her fingers, the back of her hand, and her arm.

He nibbled her snow-white neck and lingered on her little face.

He held her little face in his hands, scrutinizing it carefully, as if holding a rare treasure, his breathing heavy with obvious sobs.

"Yanyan..." he bent down and fiercely kissed her lips that haunted his dreams.

An Yan looked at him with hooded eyes, slightly opening her mouth as if inviting him.

Their kiss was inseparable, the sound of smacking echoing in the room.

The temperature in the room rose steadily.

Fu Shiyan lifted her by the waist, deepening their kiss as if to compensate for the two months of longing.

His warm, dry hands sparked fires as they roamed her body.

Suddenly, when the palm of his hand touched her lower abdomen, his movements abruptly stopped.

Their lips slightly parted.

His forehead resting against hers, he was about to ask something.

An Yan took his hand, tilted her head back to look at him, and by the moonlight, she saw his dark, deep eyes, "Yours, they are yours. Ten weeks now, and they’re twins."

Fu Shiyan’s Adam’s apple moved, and he hugged her tightly.

An Yan felt almost breathless, she lightly patted the man’s broad back, "I’m going to suffocate."

Fu Shiyan then reluctantly let her go.

An Yan hit him on the chest lightly, "You jerk! Did you deliberately switch out the birth control pills?"

The sound of a soft laugh escaped Fu Shiyan’s throat, "Yes, I was too afraid you’d leave me, I just wanted a child to secure our ties."

An Yan sniffed, "You jerk!"

"Yes, I am a jerk. I made you sad, I hurt you, I was wrong. These two months, every moment, every second, I lived in pain and self-blame. Without you, I was like a walking corpse. Yanyan, I can’t lose you again."

An Yan nodded, "Me too. For nearly two months, I lived in a world without light or sound, I missed everyone, but I missed you the most."

"No light and no sound? What exactly happened?" Fu Shiyan asked, puzzled.

An Yan took his hand and led him to sit by the bed, gazing at him, "Ayan, after the accident, I drifted in the ocean. When I woke up, Gu Chengming had rescued me. My injuries were severe, my corneas were damaged, and my eardrums were severely perforated which caused me to lose both my sight and hearing. That’s why I couldn’t contact you."

Fu Shiyan looked into her eyes, his fingertips gently stroking the corner of her eye.

"I just had a cornea transplant last week, but the perforated eardrum caused me to become deaf, and I haven’t had surgery yet because it requires general anesthesia, which isn’t good for the babies. So I can’t hear your voice yet. Do you know how much I long to hear you?"

"You will hear. I’m sorry, I was too selfish. If it weren’t for the babies, you could have had the surgery," he said.

An Yan shook her head, her fingertips resting on his lips, "Don’t say that. They are the fruit of our love, I love them very much, and I’m more grateful to you than you know."

"Gu Chengming saved you; what happened today then?" Fu Shiyan asked.

An Yan’s eyes were full of anger, "It was only today that I realized this was not by chance but inevitable."

She relayed to Fu Shiyan all the things Gu Chengming had told her during the day.

In Fu Shiyan’s eyes, there was an unbearable frost that could not be melted, and he radiated uncontrollable anger, "Gu Chengming really set up a big game."

An Yan squeezed his hand, "Before, you were hypnotized, and your memories of being a ’Night’ and ’Zero’ were also erased, so you couldn’t investigate the affairs of the past. It’s not your fault."

Fu Shiyan clasped her hand in return, "Yanyan, we must save your brother."

An Yan nodded, "When our grandparents learned of my brother’s death, they fell critically ill, and both nearly didn’t make it.

This time we must take my brother away from here.

It’s just that Gu Chengming is really cunning."

Ayan, once he takes your place and controls the global arms trade, the world’s stable order and balance will be disrupted.

He is the kind of person who will profit immensely from triggering wars."

Fu Shiyan’s fingertips gently caressed her eyebrows and eyes, "He covets you and wants to take my place. He will achieve neither."

An Yan leaned against the broad, warm chest of the man, feeling his steady, strong heartbeat. The familiar scent calmed and intoxicated her, making her obsessed and affectionate.

"Ayan, once we rescue my brother, let’s go home."

Fu Shiyan gave an affirmative hum, his slightly pointed chin lifted, his gaze intensely fixed on her, "Yanyan, you’ve lost a lot of weight."

"So have you."

"Let me check if other places have slimmed down too." He captured her lips, tasting her bit by bit, the sweetness dispelling the bitterness of many days.

He chuckled softly, "Is it because of the pregnancy? Being a mother now, so not thin but growing?"

"Stop talking."

"Okay, no talking, just action."

He smiled, pushing up her long skirt, kissing her passionately along the way.

In the heat of passion, her fingertips went through the man’s stiff hair, and she cried out in a lost voice, "Ayan..."

Fu Shiyan wiped his moist lips, "I am willing to serve you. When we get home, I will properly greet our babies."

An Yan held him, her cheeks flushed, more beautiful than the twilight evening glow.

"Yanyan, the words I’m about to say are very important, you must listen carefully..."

An Yan stared unblinkingly at the man’s thin lips, reading his lip movements.

Tears slid down her temples, "No, it’s too dangerous."

Fu Shiyan smiled gently, "Yanyan, if I had to choose between you and the whole world, I would choose you without hesitation. But now we have a better choice, don’t worry, I will come out unharmed. I want to take you home, reintroduce you to our family, feel our babies’ first movements, and welcome their arrival together. Don’t worry, I’ll be there with you for all of it."

An Yan held him for a long time.

Fu Shiyan picked her up into the bathroom to clean her, gently washing her hair and watching her slightly bulging belly nurturing their child, his eyes filled with tenderness.

After bathing her, he changed her into a nightgown and dried her hair as before.

He half-knelt before her, caressing her hand, "Yanyan, I have to go. Soon, I will take you home."

Even with a thousand unwillingnesses, An Yan couldn’t keep him there at that moment.

She nodded her head, "I’ll wait for you, and take good care of my brothers, so they won’t worry."

"Okay." Fu Shiyan stood up, walked to the French window, and looked back at her for a long while before jumping out of the window.

An Yan quickly ran over, watching his figure disappear into the night.

Meanwhile, a car drove through the ornate gate, its yellow beams hitting the glass and dazzling her eyes.
