Chapter 141: Chapter 141: It Would Be Nice If You Were Always This Proactive
An Yan gazed at the jade bracelet on her pure white wrist, her heart moved. This was an affirmation from the Fu Family.
Zhou Yi’s eyes were filled with laughter, "I finally managed to give away the last jade bracelet. I had even suspected that Shiyan might like men. Cold as ice every day, not a trace of a woman beside him. Now I’m relieved, my heart can finally settle."
She opened the low cabinet, pulled out a photo album, and sat down with An Yan on the rattan chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, flipping through the album.
"This is Shiyan just after he was born. Look at these distinct features. Our Shiyan has been a handsome man from young to old, the most good-looking of my three sons." Zhou Yi pointed at a rather indescribable area, "This part grew well too."
She chuckled softly, "When I was pregnant, I ate a lot of oysters, big prawns, and green onions, because the old generation said eating these will make ’that part’ develop well."
An Yan felt her face burning with embarrassment.
Zhou Yi didn’t find it awkward at all and continued, "When I suspected he might like men, I thought he must be ’the one.’ If not, my eating all those nourishing foods would have been in vain."
An Yan: "..."
The door wasn’t closed, and when Fu Shiyan pushed it open and entered, he caught just that sentence.
His dark eyes deepened, and his entire face darkened, "Mom, what nonsense are you spouting again?"
Zhou Yi covered her mouth to laugh, "Nothing at all."
Fu Shiyan pulled An Yan up, "Back to my room."
An Yan looked back helplessly, but Zhou Yi, quick to react, stuffed the photo album into her hands.
Fu Shiyan brought An Yan back to his room and, seeing the album in her hands, his expression couldn’t look any worse.
"Don’t look."
An Yan turned her hand away, "I find it very interesting. I won’t just look at it; I want you to join me."
She tugged at Fu Shiyan, walking towards the bed, "Join me, please."
Fu Shiyan let out a soft chuckle, "If only you could always be this forward."
An Yan gave him a reprimanding glance and pulled him down to sit together, putting the album on their laps and opening it.
"What were you talking about before I came in?"
An Yan pointed, "About this."
Fu Shiyan covered his face with a hand, "You were actually discussing this?"
"Your mother said that ’this part’ of you is well-developed."
Fu Shiyan narrowed his eyes, his hand gently stroking the girl’s waist, "Aren’t you the clearest on that?"
An Yan arched an eyebrow, "But you were tiny when you were just born."
"And now? Hmm?" Fu Shiyan’s thin lips softly kissed her earlobe, his warm breath sprinkling on her ear and neck.
An Yan started to squirm from the ticklish sensation.
Fu Shiyan’s long fingers turned her face to kiss her, deeply and lightly, quickly softening An Yan’s body.
"Dare to talk nonsense now?" He caressed the girl’s moist and rosy lips, "Let’s go home and look at the album, so we can discuss it in-depth together."
An Yan pursed her lips and silently closed the album, led by the man as they walked out.
Fu Haichuan saw the two of them descending the stairs, "Not staying for dinner?"
Fu Shiyan hummed noncommittally, "We’ll eat at home."
But the meaning of ’eat’ here was somewhat different.
The car was speeding, and when they reached the garage, Fu Shiyan, finding An Yan too slow, simply picked her up and strode into the elevator.
An Yan leaned against the man’s chest, listening to his strong and steady heartbeat, her own heart suddenly pounding in response.
"This excited?"
"Not at all!"
Fu Shiyan clicked his tongue, "Saying one thing but meaning another."
Once inside, a shower of intense kisses rained down.
Fu Shiyan stood kissing her, only walking into the bedroom when he sensed her passion.
The hefty album lay on the floor, ignored, open at the very photos of Fu Shiyan’s birth.
The dark big eyes, the well-defined nose, the rosy little mouth looked lovable no matter how one saw it, especially the uncovered area which was particularly eye-catching.
When An Yan woke up, it was already dark outside, the air filled with the aroma of food.
She got up, saw the robe at the foot of the bed, put it on, and shuffled in slippers towards the kitchen.
The mobile phone on the nightstand vibrated.
She picked it up and saw it was from Mu Yingying.
Suddenly she remembered the agreement they had made before, they were going to Wanhu Resort tomorrow.
She answered the call.
"An Yan, are you busy?"
"No."
"Don’t forget to come to Wanhu Resort tomorrow! Big brother and mom will be there too."
"Okay, I know."
"Then I’ll see you at nine in the morning."
"Alright."
After hanging up the phone, An Yan walked out of the bedroom.
The man’s figure was still busy in the kitchen.
She walked up behind him and hugged him tightly, "Ayan."
Fu Shiyan finished cutting the sushi and set it on plates, then took off his gloves, turned around, and pinched her delicate chin, "Good girl, call me ’husband’ and let me hear it."
An Yan looked into the man’s deep eyes and gently parted her lips, "Husband."
"Say it a few more times."
"Husband, husband, husband!"
Fu Shiyan held her tightly, "Wife."
When An Yan heard these two words, her heart thumped wildly; she wanted to hold him like this forever.
After their intimate moment in the kitchen, they left, sweetly feeding each other sushi.
After eating, Fu Shiyan took care of the dishes while An Yan took two marriage certificates out of her bag and hid them in the wardrobe.
Fu Shiyan leaned against the door frame, eyebrow raised, "Hiding them?"
"Yeah, now it’s your turn to find them."
"What do I need to find them for?"
"Just in case someday you don’t want me, then you can... Mmm..."
Fu Shiyan quickly silenced her prattling mouth, "If you keep spouting nonsense, you won’t get to sleep tonight."
An Yan stuck her tongue out, "Right, Mu Yingying just called to remind us not to forget about going to Wanhu Resort tomorrow."
Fu Shiyan hummed lightly, "Let’s treat it as an early honeymoon then."
"That’s so perfunctory."
He scooped her up, "Next week I have a project in Xiangcheng. We can go together; it’ll be a good chance to meet grandpa and grandma. After that, I’ll take you on a proper honeymoon."
"That’s more like it."
The dusk spilled ink across the landscape.
Gu Han stood in a silk robe with a glass of red wine by the enormous floor-to-ceiling window.
She swirled the glass, draining the purple-red liquid into her throat.
The window mirrored her beautiful face, and she wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes with her hand.
Her phone in the pocket of her robe buzzed insistently.
She took it out, it was an unfamiliar number.
Lately, she had been in a bad mood and didn’t want to entertain any patients, so she hung up directly.
But the person on the other end was relentless, calling back again and again.
She picked up with an irritable tone, "I’m not taking appointments right now."
"Doctor Gu." The voice, altered with a voice changer, came through, "Don’t hang up in a hurry."
Gu Han was on high alert, "Who are you?"
"Do you want to get your hands on Fu Shiyan? I can offer you an opportunity."
"What do you mean?"
"Tomorrow Fu Shiyan and An Yan will be at Wanhu Resort. There’s a horse farm there, and the opportunity is right in front of you. Use your hypnosis skills."
Gu Han stared at the darkened screen and gripped the phone tightly.
