Chapter 119: Chapter 119 Teach Me How to Do It Tonight

Fu Shiyan stepped out of the sea of roses and found some ribbons on a wooden table nearby. He chose a cream-colored ribbon to tie the bouquet of roses together.

He walked up to An Yan and asked in a low voice, "Do you like it?"

An Yan nodded, "I like it, but, you see, it’s not as much as the 999 roses you had Assistant Han send me that night."

Fu Shiyan was surprised, "When did you find out?"

"Assistant Han mentioned it unintentionally the other day. Otherwise, I would have had no idea about that."

An Yan’s twinkling eyes blinked, "So were you particularly jealous at the time?"

Fu Shiyan thought back to how Han Yang excitedly described the situation, wishing he could dock ten years of his bonus.

He chuckled, "How could I be? I trust you."

An Yan let out a meaningful "oh."

Not far away, Mu Shaoze came over with his hands full of roses of various colors. He gave half of them to An Yan, "I thought President Fu would give you some, but he seems more interested in making fresh flower cakes. Let your brother give them to you."

An Yan looked at the flowers offered by Mu Shaoze as if they were hot yams. Still, not accepting them would be a slight.

Just as she was about to take them, Fu Shiyan stuffed the roses in his hand into An Yan’s, "Hold these for me."

Mu Shaoze chuckled, "Alright, I’ll hold onto them for you, and you can take them back when we leave."

"Fourth Brother!"

A petite figure ran over. It was Mu Yingying.

An Yan had met her at the hospital, the youngest daughter of the Mu Family.

Mu Yingying looked sweet and somewhat frail, appearing quite endearing.

It was surprising since the brothers of the Mu Family were all tall and imposing, yet the youngest sister was petite.

Mu Yingying came up to the trio with blushing cheeks, "Fourth Brother, do we have guests at home today?"

Mu Shaoze hummed a response, not particularly warm.

"This is Fu Shiyan, the one who saved our third brother’s life. And this is An Yan; she was the one who managed to contact Y to perform the surgery for Mom."

Mu Yingying greeted them with a smile, "Hello, President Fu, An Yan. I’m Mu Yingying, but you can just call me Yingying."

Fu Shiyan nodded, and An Yan responded with a smile.

Mu Shaoze looked at the two of them, "Let me take you to the Horse Farm for a visit. My eldest brother just bought a new Akhal-Teke horse. We can leave the bouquets on the table for now and pick them up later."

The four headed towards the Horse Farm, with Mu Shaoze leading the way.

Mu Yingying chatted affectionately with An Yan, sharing girl talk and linking arms.

Fu Shiyan walked behind them, his gaze lingering on An Yan’s figure.

Mu Yingying exclaimed with delight, "You’re at Jiang University! I’m studying acting at the Film and Television University next door. We’re so close. We should have lunch or go shopping together sometime."

An Yan smiled lightly, "Sure."

As they talked and laughed, the four arrived at the Horse Farm where two horses were running around inside a circular area.

Seeing Mu Shaoze approaching, the butler whistled, and the horses obediently ran over to the fence.

"Master Si, you’re here."

Mu Shaoze nodded, "I’m just taking the guests around."

He turned to An Yan, "The one with hair that looks light pink under the sun is my elder brother’s new horse, named Jenica. Would you like to take a ride?"

An Yan was a bit intrigued; the horse was indeed very beautiful.

She turned back and winked at Fu Shiyan, signaling him not to worry.

Mu Yingying took An Yan’s hand, "Come on, I’ll take you to change into riding attire."

The two entered a white cottage outside the Horse Farm, which was used for changing clothes.

Mu Yingying found a set of black and white riding attire for An Yan, "This ensemble is new, give it a try."

An Yan thanked her and began to change.

Mu Yingying couldn’t help but remark, "An Yan, you really have a great figure."

After changing, An Yan smiled and said, "You look pretty good yourself."

When the two of them came out, the butler had already prepared the saddles and stirrups.

Mu Shaoze opened the wooden fence and led An Yan inside.

An Yan stroked the horse’s head and softly called its name.

Jenica nuzzled her hand, showing it liked her.

Mu Shaoze said, "Let me help you up."

An Yan smiled lightly, "I can do it myself."

She stepped on the stirrup and swung onto the horse’s back, holding the reins in both hands while gently squeezing the horse’s sides, and the horse began to gallop around the arena with her.

Fu Shiyan fixed his gaze unwaveringly on the girl on the horse’s back, her jet-black hair flying freely in the air, shining so brilliantly.

"An Yan is amazing, I don’t know how to ride horses, I’m so jealous. President Fu, can you ride a horse?"

Fu Shiyan glanced at the girl standing beside him, who seemed a bit shy in her eyes.

He said indifferently, "Yes."

Mu Yingying did not say anything more and turned to watch the arena.

After a few laps, An Yan let out a sigh and Jenica stopped.

She dismounted, rubbed the horse’s head, and took the carrot that Mu Shaoze passed to her to feed it, "Such a good girl."

Mu Yingying moved closer, "Next Sunday we’re going to Wanhu Resort, where there’s also a horse farm with many valuable horses. An Yan, you and President Fu should come too."

An Yan instinctively looked at Fu Shiyan, who nodded.

"Sure, we’ll join you."

Mu Yingying took out her phone, "Then let’s exchange phone numbers and WeChat, so we can stay in touch for the trip."

"All right," An Yan said with a smile.

Mu Shaoze answered a phone call and looked at them, "My dad and big brother are back, and dinner’s ready. Let’s head back."

An Yan nodded, "Then I’ll go change."

"I’ll go with you," Mu Yingying wanted to follow.

Mu Shaoze stopped her, "You help me deliver the flowers."

Mu Yingying agreed and left with the man.

Fu Shiyan watched their retreating figures and chuckled lightly, "That Mu Shaoze is quite perceptive."

An Yan was somewhat worried, "He couldn’t have noticed anything, could he?"

"I think the old master knows by now; we don’t need to sneak around anymore."

"Then let’s find an opportunity to talk to Bai and the others first. I’m afraid if we go public directly, it might affect your friendship."

"Alright, we’ll do it in the next few days. Then we can be together openly," Fu Shiyan laughed, "We’re seriously dating, yet it feels like we’re having an affair."

An Yan raised an eyebrow, "Isn’t it exciting?"

Fu Shiyan pinched her waist, "Indeed exciting, but I’d rather kiss you under the sunlight."

An Yan looked at the man’s handsome face in the setting sun and couldn’t help but tiptoe up to kiss his cheek, "I’ll go change."

Watching the girl’s youthful and sunny figure, Fu Shiyan’s lips curled into a smile, how could he not love such a radiant girl.

Soon, An Yan had changed into a skirt and joined Fu Shiyan to leave side by side.

As they passed by the flower sea, Fu Shiyan handed a large bunch of roses to An Yan, "For you."

"No more fresh flower cakes?"

"Shall you teach me tonight? What’s the best technique to make them tastier?"

"Your head is full of dirty thoughts!" An Yan huffed but continued walking, a smile lingering on her lips.
