Spoiled By My Ex-Fiance's Uncle
Chapter 104: President Fu, Is This Your First Kiss?

Chapter 104: Chapter 104: President Fu, Is This Your First Kiss?

The photographer shook his head, "I just happened to hear Director Li talking on the phone about switching islands or something like that in the rest room that day. I had no idea who he was talking to, and who would have thought that going to the previous island would be life-threatening?"

Fu Shiyan furrowed his brows, "I will get to the bottom of this."

He looked at his assistant, "Fire the signal flare. We haven’t gone far, so it shouldn’t take the rescue team too long to arrive."

"Okay." The young assistant quickly took a signal flare out of the bag and fired it.

During their conversation, three loud booms echoed in the sky as three signal flares ascended.

Fu Shiyan gazed at the red smoke in the sky, discerning the direction, with no signal flares coming from the north.

His heart sank suddenly, filled with unease.

He felt like they were trapped in a predatory game on the island, and they were the prey, waiting to be cornered and slaughtered.

"Jinqiao, you and the others wait here for the rescue. I’m going to find An Yan," Fu Shiyan said as he reached out to gently rub Fu Jinqiao’s hair.

Fu Jinqiao sobbed, "Younger Uncle, I’m really scared. I want to go with you."

"I just observed the surroundings and saw no immediate danger; the rescue team should be able to find you all within about fifteen minutes."

Fu Jinqiao disagreed, clutching at the man’s hem, "No, Younger Uncle, I’m so worried about you. Can I come with you, please?"

The photographer tugged at his lip, "Miss Fu, it would be dangerous for President Fu to bring you along."

Fu Jinqiao: "..."

After thinking it over, she let go, "Then you be careful, Younger Uncle, and bring An Yan back safe."

Fu Shiyan nodded and, leaving the dagger with the photographer, vanished into the woods.

Fu Jinqiao checked her phone, only to remember that she had handed it over before the program began.

She spoke to the camera, "To all friends watching the live broadcast, I am Fu Jinqiao. I want to tell you something: the program’s director was instructed by someone to change the island, leading us to this dangerous one. This person is completely devoid of morals, treating human lives as worthless..."

The photographer interrupted her, "Wait, wait, wait."

"What is it?" Fu Jinqiao asked.

"The signal has been cut," the photographer shrugged. "To be precise, it was cut off by the director. What we say is delayed before it goes on air, so what you just said probably hasn’t been broadcast yet."

Fu Jinqiao: "...then do you think the rescue team will still come to save us?"

On the beach, inside the photography shed.

Director Li watched the images on the screen, grinding his teeth.

Lu Li asked, "What should we do, Director Li?"

"Don’t rescue the group with Movie King Mu and this group. Get the others out first," Director Li’s eyes were cold and savage. "If we want to stay alive, we need others to keep quiet. I can’t escape responsibility for this, but there’s a big difference between intentional and accidental."

In the meantime, Fu Jinqiao scanned the surroundings warily, "You guys say, it’s been twenty minutes already, why hasn’t the rescue team arrived?"

The photographer, holding the camera in one hand and the dagger in the other, said, "I feel like we’ve been abandoned. Better to rely on oneself than to wait for help, we should break out on our own."

The assistant, pointing nearby with hurried breaths, said, "That, I think I saw that over there."

The photographer, "What?"

Fu Jinqiao looked in that direction and swallowed, "Komodo Dragon, run fast!"

As soon as the words fell, the three scattered in different directions, fleeing...

Elsewhere, An Yan and Mu Qianfan’s group had also scattered, with the photographer and Xu Shuo gone without a trace.

An Yan took out a compass, "If we head south, we’ll surely make it out."

Mu Qianfan shook his head, "There are too many poisonous snakes in that direction; we won’t make it out. Do you still have your dagger?"

An Yan sighed lightly, "I gave it to the photographer. Never mind, I’ll make one."

"Make one?"

Just when Mu Qianfan was astonished, An Yan took out boxed milk, white vinegar, and white wine from her backpack, along with a metal box.

Something suddenly occurred to Mu Qianfan, "Are you making a milk knife?"

An Yan nodded and lit the gathered herbs to heat the small box containing the mixed liquid, "That’s right, because we’re trying to survive on a deserted island. I was worried about encountering danger, so I brought some extra things just in case."

"I remember that the milk knife takes many days to dry."

"Yes, but I improved it." An Yan opened a small bottle containing a transparent liquid and poured it into the small box, which soon began to solidify.

A hint of admiration flashed across Mu Qianfan’s eyes, "An Yan, you have quite the ability to survive in the wild."

A light smile appeared on An Yan’s face as she skillfully continued with her task.

"What do you plan to do later?" Mu Qianfan asked.

An Yan put on gloves and shaped the solid into a sharp form, then poured mineral water over it. The heat soon dissipated, and the solidified material hardened.

"I’m very worried about Jinqiao, so I plan to go look for her later."

Mu Qianfan’s lips curved up; he knew that An Yan was not only worried about Fu Jinqiao but also about Fu Shiyan. Yet, he didn’t pierce her pretense.

He smiled and said, "Okay, I’ll risk my life to accompany the gentleman, and later on, we’ll fight our way through the snake formation together."

An hour later, An Yan wrapped the blunt side of the solid with a cloth strip to serve as the handle. Looking at the sharp tip of the knife, she smiled with satisfaction, "Let’s go."

The two of them ran off toward the east together.

Several venomous snakes raised their bodies, hissing with their bright red tongues flickering, creating an especially chilling sight.

Back to back, they swung their knives, beheading the venomous snakes.

Suddenly, a rattlesnake lunged straight for An Yan’s arm, but a stone struck its eye, causing the snake to veer off course. It turned and dashed toward the direction it had been attacked from, moving in an S-shape.

An Yan’s gaze faltered for a moment, then she threw her milk knife, piercing the snake’s head.

She didn’t expect Fu Shiyan to have come over.

Just then, another venomous snake opened its mouth wide, revealing two sharp fangs, aiming for An Yan’s right hand.

Fu Shiyan’s breath hitched, and he shouted, "Yanyan!"

As Mu Qianfan beheaded another snake, he swiftly moved to shield An Yan, then stabbed the snake in the head with his knife.

This all happened in the blink of an eye.

An Yan steadied Mu Qianfan, looking as the snake fell limply down his chest, "Brother Mu!"

Mu Qianfan was wearing a white T-shirt, which began to stain with blood.

She tugged at his collar and saw that blood was seeping from the two fang marks on his chest, feeling both guilty and touched.

Without a moment’s hesitation, she said, "I’ll suck it out for you."

Fu Shiyan’s brow furrowed deeply, and he pulled her aside, "How can you suck it out for him?"

An Yan shook him off, "Why can’t I!"

Mu Qianfan chuckled, "It’s okay, the fangs didn’t bite in too deep."

"No!" An Yan made a move as if she was about to tear open his T-shirt.

Fu Shiyan’s expression darkened as if he was the night far away from the neon lights, so dark it could drip ink.

He stopped An Yan, "I’ll suck it out."

So, An Yan helped lay Mu Qianfan down on a relatively clean spot on the ground and lifted his T-shirt.

Fu Shiyan squatted down close to him.

Mu Qianfan laughed softly, "I’m really inconveniencing President Fu. Is this going to be your first kiss, President Fu?"
