Chapter 100: Chapter 100: She Doesn’t Want Him, Fu Shiyan

The night wind tangled An Yan’s long hair, with several strands sticking to her tear-stained cheeks.

She wiped her tears, sniffed, and guzzled beer from the can she held.

Su Yue walked into An Yan’s villa in the eastern suburbs and witnessed this scene.

She hurried over and crouched in front of her, "Stop drinking, look what you’ve done to yourself."

While speaking, she pulled on An Yan’s arm to get her up, "Don’t sit on the steps, it’s too cold."

An Yan’s body felt a bit weak as she stood and glanced at the empty cans by her feet, "One, two, three, let me see, seems like seven."

Su Yue was angry, "What seven, eight! It’s eight! An Yan, what’s really wrong with you?"

An Yan hugged Su Yue, her voice acidic, "Yueyue, I’ve never felt so awful. Really, even when Fu Shiyan took a bullet for me two years ago, I wasn’t this upset."

"Nonsense, back then you weren’t close to him, he was just your fanboy. If he had died, you would have just mourned him. But you, being a fool, decided to devote yourself as if he were actually dead, beyond help!"

Teardrops fell from An Yan’s eyes, "But I feel so terrible now! He’s entangled with me while spending nights with another woman. It really hurts my heart."

Su Yue was taken aback, "You mean Fu Shiyan is with another woman?"

"Yes, that Su Manxi. She called me today to her villa to ’watch a good show,’ and then I saw them being intimate." She wiped her tears on Su Yue’s shoulder, "I didn’t believe it at first, but once the call connected, I heard both of their voices."

After hearing this, Su Yue felt like she was about to explode with anger.

Old Dog Fu would rather toss away such an outstanding, perfect girlfriend and pick up a rotten, stinky salted fish off the ground.

She consoled An Yan, "Be good, sleep on it, and it’ll all be over tomorrow."

She took An Yan back to the room to put her to sleep; seeing several missed calls from Fu Shiyan on An Yan’s phone, she turned it off.

Bishui Bay.

When Fu Shiyan called again, he was greeted by the cold, mechanical voice: Sorry, the number you have dialed is switched off.

He furrowed his brows, filled with unease and helplessness.

Where had An Yan gone?

He called Si Heng, "Is An Yan at your place?"

"No? What, lost your girlfriend again?"

Fu Shiyan contained his discontent, "What about Su Yue? Does she know where An Yan is?"

"Su Yue said she was returning to her parents’ home tonight."

"Then call her and ask if she knows where An Yan is."

Si Heng said okay and then hung up the phone.

Shortly after, he reported back to Fu Shiyan, "I can’t find Su Yue, she hasn’t returned to the Su Family’s home."

Fu Shiyan massaged his temples, wondering if the two had gone drinking at a bar again.

He took a deep breath and asked Han Yang to have someone look for them.

Fu Shiyan leaned against the couch, staring at the large screen that had lowered across from him, feeling empty.

He admitted he was feeling petty and jealous, hoping a few days of adjustment would resolve it, but had not anticipated that An Yan would be upset over his recent coldness.

He watched as time ticked away, with an hour passing quickly.

Impatiently, he called Han Yang, "Did you find them?"

"Sorry, President Fu, not yet."

Fu Shiyan sighed deeply, wishing the police would call him to bail someone out, but that hope was turning into a luxury.

His eyes flickered with thought, then he thought of Bi Chong.

Since they had a good chat during their last meal together, they had exchanged phone numbers.

Fu Shiyan called him, straightforwardly, "I can’t find An Yan, can you manage to find her?"

Bi Chong was startled, "Brother-in-law, I’m really sorry. The boss’s phone is encrypted, unless she can decrypt it herself, no one else can."

"No one can? What about Hacker S?"

Bi Chong laughed, "He’s bluffing too, only the boss herself can do it. But what happened to the boss?"

After Fu Shiyan said it was nothing, he hung up the phone.

The night seemed like a giant beast trying to devour him, and he felt an unprecedented panic.

He picked up his car keys, went downstairs, and began to search aimlessly.

Until three in the morning, he parked his car on the side of the road, lit a cigarette, the cigarette tip dimly visible between his fingers.

He muttered, "Yanyan, where exactly are you?"

The morning sun shone on the delicate face of the girl, who frowned, the hangover headache making her uncomfortable. She turned over, slowly opened her eyes, and saw Su Yue’s wide eyes.

An Yan blinked, "Why are you lying in my bed?"

Su Yue clicked her tongue, "Trashy girl, playing dumb after sleeping with me?"

An Yan burst out laughing, "Nonsense."

She sat up, looking around the familiar room, and gradually remembered everything that had happened the night before.

She ran her fingers through her hair, "I’m a bit annoyed."

Su Yue also sat up, patted her shoulder, "Annoyed or not, you have to face reality, right? What are you planning to do?"

An Yan shook her head. She turned on her phone—over a hundred missed calls, apart from Fu Shiyan’s, there were Bi Chong’s, and a few WeChat messages.

She glanced at Fu Shiyan’s message, asking her where she was.

She replied with two words—break up, and then blocked and deleted Fu Shiyan.

She wasn’t someone who couldn’t let go. Having been abandoned from a young age, she could accept being abandoned again.

The pain in her heart would be healed by time. Now, it was she who initiated the breakup, she was the one who didn’t want Fu Shiyan anymore.

An Yan then opened Mu Qianfan’s message: Survival show shooting on the deserted island this weekend, flying to Mosley Island on Friday night, do you need me to pick you up?

An Yan replied: Send me the flight number, I’ll go directly to the airport.

She looked at Su Yue, "Take me to the airport tonight."

An Yan spent the day being looked after by Su Yue and was taken to the airport in the evening.

She took a pink suitcase from the trunk, hugged Su Yue, "I’m leaving."

Su Yue patted her, "Baby Yan, just think of it as you’ve been keeping a top-notch ’little duckling’ for a while, and now you’ve gotten a bit serious, but you’re finding your way back. I hope when you come back from the show, you can win over the Film Emperor."

An Yan let her go, "I think of Brother Mu like the boy next door, don’t spread rumors. If his fans hear this, they could flay you alive."

She carried her suitcase, waved to Su Yue, "Go back, send me a message when you get home."

Su Yue nodded and then drove off.

As An Yan was messaging Mu Qianfan, he walked briskly towards her.

He took her suitcase, "You’ve arrived just in time. Ready to board."

An Yan smiled faintly, "Thanks."

The moment they looked at each other was captured by a fan and posted on Weibo.

— Although my idol is fully armed, it doesn’t affect how incredibly handsome he is! But who is that Miss? Really want to see her take off her cap and mask! Mysteriously feels like a CP! Really enjoy it!

Suddenly, this Weibo post was frequently retweeted, and comments reached tens of thousands within an hour.

Fu Corporation President’s office.

Fu Shiyan looked at this photo, his eyes chillingly cold.
