Chapter 229: Galaxy Wide Purge
Chapter 229: Chapter 229: Galaxy Wide Purge
[3rd POV]
While Gwen was preparing to face off against the first of the Chaos Gods, her clone was in the Eye of Terror, wiping out every force of chaos it came across, including the final of the traitor Primarchs, this being Lorgar, who had fled once he found out that she was alive, leaving Lion El’Johnson to return to Terra.
The man had cried out to the Gods, hoping that they would save him and the forces, but they did not. As they had far more important things to deal with, like the fact that the main body of Gwen was now breaching into the Warp, preparing herself to slaughter the Four Chaos Gods, wiping them from the universe for good.
Lorgar died soon after. Gwen not even caring much as she killed the last of them, another quest being completed as she did so, but she didn’t focus on it, as instead her clone focused on killing everything within the eye of terror, at least, all the Chaos forces.
At the same time, the main body of Gwen was breaching into the Warp. And as she did, she could feel it.
The power. Immense, incredible, godlike power surging through her being. She felt more powerful than ever before, as she finally transported herself into the Warp, and her true full power revealed itself.
She was akin to a sun amongst the darkest void, surging throughout the area as the Warp itself began to change and shake underneath her might.
She could feel the Chaos Gods within, as they reeled back at the overwhelming power exuding from her being, power that was slowly rising as she spread her senses around the massive expanse.
It didn’t take long before she found the part of the Warp that housed the Chaos Gods, aka the Realm of Chaos. The realm of chaos was where they lived, all four of them taking a portion of it for themselves. It was also where a large majority of the daemons were housed, and was her target.
Gwen gazed at the realm in the far off distance, ignoring the surging power within her that continued to rise, as her figure glowed a bright golden color. If any daemon was to gaze at her form at the moment, they would instantaneously combust, dying in an instant. Only the Chaos Gods themselves would be able to withstand her impossible might.
And even that was beginning to become questionable, as she knew for a fact that she was stronger than any of the Chaos Gods individually. Meaning, they would likely be forced to work together if they wished to survive. Well, that’s if she lets them get the chance to.
And she certainly wasn’t going to.
Killing them was the hardest part of it all. As they were basically the personifications of different emotions within the collective consciousness of the Galaxy’s people. The only way to truly kill them was to literally kill every denizen in the Galaxy.
She couldn’t do that, obviously.
So, the only other option was...to absorb them into her being. She would then become those very personifications, and with that, she would then extend her power, and wipe out all of the beings that worship Chaos. That, and she would be able to gain control over the Imperium, which would slowly but surely eliminate a lot of the emotions that led to their birth in the first place.
She was confident in being able to absorb them, as they were essentially walking balls of power and emotion. And she had dozens of different powers that dealt with absorption of the impossible.
The real problem was to decide which one to deal with first. Each of them were immensely powerful, but still not as strong as her. As within the Warp, she was likely stronger than all Four combined. And her power was steadily rising as more and more humans of the Imperium prayed to her, as she was still actively slaughtering Chaos throughout the universe.
Killing these daemons permanently was also constantly weakening the Chaos Gods, making them easier for her to absorb, and easier for her to deal with the problems that came with them.
’...Tzeentch will be first’ Gwen decided, knowing that that entity was easily the most dangerous of the bunch. It was manipulative, intelligent, and very good at getting out of tough situations. It was the only entity in this universe that was even remotely close to her in intelligence, besides maybe the Hive Mind of the Tyranids.
Finding Tzeentch wasn’t too difficult, as she was consciously absorbing thousands of daemons a second, boosting her power more and more, and allowing for her to sense it quite easily.
She wondered if this would be at all difficult now that she was the Emperor, and now that she was a literal God, with her Divinity growing by the second, boosting her power within the warp more and more.
She knew that at the moment, she was likely the most powerful entity in the universe, at least, within the warp.
And it was because of this, that she was confident as she teleported to where Tzeentch would be, or at least his avatar. It was this Avatar that would allow for her to absorb his actual "Being". She was already technically absorbing portions of him, as all Daemons of his were a part of him, but the main parts were here, and it was here that she would absorb him.
After him, would be Slaanesh, then Nurgle, and finally Khorne. Each would be consumed, and by the end of the "Day" she would be the only Chaos God remaining, and even then, she would purge all forces of Chaos, absorbing all negative emotions and energy into her own being.
She was quite literally made to handle it, and so, she would.
Being the God of Order and Willpower made this possible.
And so, she teleported to the realm of Tzeentch, which wasn’t really physical, and yet was at the same time. The warp was immensely confusing and convoluted as all hell, it made no sense, and yet that was exactly why it did. Gwen understood some of the aspects of it, as she had seen things similar in some of her other lives, but even to her, it was certainly unique.
She wondered what would happen if she tried to absorb the Warp itself, but decided that that would be a bad idea. As the Warp was a vital part of this universe, and her doing that would likely have some very nasty side effects. That, and she doubted she was able to do that just yet.
Maybe in the far future she would try.
But for now, she gazed in front of her, at the entity with many faces, all of them changing and warping, whispering to her and speaking. It was...a grotesque view, even to Gwen, as she gazed at the form. But it was not even remotely the strangest thing she had seen. She could gaze at all the Chaos Gods true forms easily, and it would do nothing to her mind.
She had seen beings that made them look like nothing.
Within her hand a blade glimmered with a golden light, power emanating from it as she stared at the Avatar.
"You are impossible" Tzeentch’s voice echoed, as Gwen stared up at it, understanding that he noticed the change in her being. That she was not just the God Emperor anymore, she was something more.
"And yet I stand before you, you disgusting entity" Gwen said calmly, as she decided she would finish this as fast as possible. She was confident in doing this in a singular mighty blow, as unlike Khorne, Tzeentch was not made for battle, it was against his very ways.
None of them besides MAYBE Khorne could actually even fight her in a one on one "Fight". And one of them even wanted to, it was why Tzeentch seemed to be trying to find a way to purge her from the Warp, to send her packing.
Too bad Gwen had so many powers, that nothing he tried would be able to stop her from what she was about to do.
Staring up at the entity, she wondered what she would become once she absorbed him. She hoped that it wouldn’t be anything gross looking, and she certainly hoped it wouldn’t warp her being into something...wrong.
But, Gwen decided now was not the time to falter, as she lifted the gleaming blade, and Tzeentch screeched at her, his power shaking his realm as their surroundings shattered akin to glass. But, it did not matter in the end, as Gwen coldly glared at the entity, and swung her blade.
And as she did, everything...

That’s the end of the Chapter!
So...I forgot that the Chaos Gods aren’t really physical beings, but are literally walking bundles of emotion and psychic energy. Meaning that killing them in conventional ways is literally impossible.
But absorbing them...I like to think that Gwen can do that. She herself would become a Chaos God, but not a malevolent one, as her mind and being cannot be controlled, warped, or changed against her will.
No idea if this is even possible, but...AU? IDK
Anyways, have a good day![3rd POV]
