Inside Lu Enterprise head office,

Huo Jichen entered Lu Jinhai’s office with the ’report’ of the day. He couldn’t help but sigh at the pitiful report.

Although it was longer than usual, there was almost nothing on it. Since Lu Jinhai had said to bring one everyday even if there was nothing to report, he had to submit one.

Personally, Huo Jichen didn’t really know what his boss saw in Mo Chou but he had to admit that she brought out his human side. Before Lu Jinhai met her, he was more like a cold machine, he was only focused on his work and nothing ever held his interest for a long time.

Huo Jichen had actually been a little worried about Lu Jinhai’s mental health and his future as well.

There were even rumours going around that his boss was into boys.

After he met Mo Chou though, everything slowly changed.

Although Huo Jichen’s work load had increased quite a bit, he had been happy for Lu Jinhai . So seeing Lu Jinhai slowly turn back to the cold and ruthless workaholic, Huo Jichen couldn’t help but feel bad as well.

He just hoped that his boss could take care of his family matters soon.

Lu Jinhai immediately looked up when he heard the door opening. He knew that it was time for Huo Jichen to bring in the report. He took the report from him and flipped it.

He knew that the report might just be a couple of sentences but he couldn’t help but wait eagerly for it everyday.

Today though, something caught his eye. Mo Chou had actually gone out with her mother today, so the report was longer than usual.

Lu Jinhai had been worried about Mo Chou’s health and safety since she had just woken up from a coma not too long ago, so he had ordered Huo Zhai to protect her stealthily.

Since Mo Chou rarely left the house anymore, there was nothing to report. In today’s report though, there was a full detail of her visit to the mall.

Huo Zhai had also stated that he had lost sight of her briefly in the mall.

Lu Jinhai frowned when he read the sentence and when he saw the name of the store she had visited, his expression turned frosty.

Huo Zhai had also mentioned towards the end that Mo Chou had actually sensed his presence.

He quickly finished reading the rest of the report, turned to Huo Jichen who was standing nearby and said, "Call Huo Zhai back, there is no need to guard her anymore".

Mo Chou would definitely get suspicious if Huo Zhai kept following her. Lu Jinhai knew that she was not an ordinary girl and could look after herself.

He had only sent Huo Zhai because he couldn’t help himself, he had almost lost her after all.

"Yes sir, I’ll inform him right away", Huo Jichen replied and dismissed himself. Although he was shocked after hearing the unexpected order, Huo Jichen kept a straight face.

He called his brother right away and told him to come back to the company. After he was done with the call, Huo Jichen was about to take a small break when he saw the receptionist rushing inside while saying, "she’s here".

When Mo Chou woke up in the morning, it was already pretty late. She was kind of surprised about the fact that she had slept in because usually her body would automatically wake up early.

Feeling refreshed, she sat up and went to do her morning routine.

Mo Chou felt a little hungry but figured that everyone had probably had breakfast already by then. She still decided to go to the dining room because the kitchen staff usually left some food.

When she reached there, Mo Chou was quite surprised to see that Liu Dai hadn’t gone to work yet and was still eating breakfast.

Liu Dai, who had been ’eating breakfast ’ for an hour hoping to see his sister, hurriedly greeted her when he saw her enter the room. He even pulled a seat out next to him and asked the server nearby to bring the prepared breakfast.

The server, who had been waiting beside Liu Dai gave a secretive smile to Mo Chou before she left to get the food which puzzled her a little but Liu Dai diverted her attention by asking her about her day out yesterday.

Mo Chou answered him but decided opt out the part about how Mo Li had panicked. She didn’t want him to worry, she was already investigating it after all.

The food arrived soon and Mo Chou started eating while talking to Liu Dai.

Liu Dai asked her multiple questions, all regarding her health which Mo Chou answered one by one. Seeing how he was so concerned about her well-being , Mo Chou felt a warmth in her heart.

"Are you staying at home today?" Mo Chou asked Liu Dai since it was already quite late.

Liu Dai wanted to say yes but he had slacked off a lot lately and couldn’t afford to take any more days off so he just sadly shook his head.

"I have to go now but let’s have dinner together tonight" Liu Dai said while standing up. He really was quite late and had to leave right away.

Mo Chou agreed as well. She didn’t have anything much planned for the day anyways.

After Liu Dai left, Mo Chou also got up and returned to her room. Now that her tummy was full, she wanted to get down to business.

She first checked her Weibo and saw that the person had actually sent a reply.

Mo Chou couldn’t wait to read what reply he had sent and hurriedly opened her chat.

She had sent a message asking if they knew who the owner was and the person had replied that he actually didn’t know the identity of the owner of phoenix.

In fact, none of the employees aside from a select few had even seen the owner, let alone having personal information.

Mo Chou felt a little frustrated when she read his reply. She asked if he had any useful information as he had commented in the article after all.

After a while, she got a reply saying that he had actually accidentally stumbled upon the owner of Phoenix and happened to take a good look at her face. Since he had a sharp memory, he could describe her appearance but that was all.

Mo Chou immediately took up on his offer. Anything was better than nothing after all. She was even planning on hiring someone to try and draw the face.

So the person started typing out a detailed description of the owner. Since it seemed like it would take some time, Mo Chou decided to see how 007 was doing.

She logged into the account that she had created for the organisation and saw that 007 had actually sent her a lot of messages. Mo Chou wondered if he had succeeded so quickly and sent him a message.

007 seemed to have been waiting for her and replied immediately. He told her that he had already managed to capture the person’s face.

Mo Chou got a little excited upon hearing this. Then she saw 007’s next message saying that he had actually seen this person before.

This immediately caught her attention. 007 worked for the assassin organisation after all, so the people he saw and associated with were usually dangerous.

Mo Chou could personally handle them but she really didn’t want her innocent mother to be dragged into a messy situation, so she hurriedly questioned, "Who exactly is it"?
