Chapter 124: A druggy like you would

Adam was able to use the chaos of the fleeing club goers to eliminate two more gang members, bringing his kill count up to 6 before the crowd thinned enough that the remaining gang members started opening fire at him with their blasters.

Adam activated his anti-gravity drive, causing his wings to sprout from his armour and took to the air, dodging the incoming blaster bolts as he switched back to using his Midnight automatic blaster and returned fire.

He dodged and weaved through the air, dodging the incoming attacks as he continued to return fire using the three-round burst firing mode.

"Why the fuck are we being attacked by someone with anti-gravity armour? Who did the boss piss off?"

"How would I know, also what's up with those wings and the tail?"

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Nice strategy, he is using his anti-gravity drives manoeuvrability combined with the open space in the air to dodge the incoming attacks.]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Let's just hope he doesn't crash into the ceiling. Kekeke.]

The enhanced manoeuvrability of the anti-gravity armour made it difficult for the gang members, who seemed to only be armed with blasters, to hit him, so it didn't take too long until he took them all out.

After eliminating all the gang members around the dance floor, Adam headed for the door he had passed through previously, finding it suspicious that no reinforcements had come to assist those he had just eliminated.

Adam opened the door before quickly moving to the side just before a stream of blaster bolts came flying through the now open doorway.

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Ohh, they laid an ambush.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Not a very good one.]

Adam took out a shock pellet from his utility belt before tossing it into the hallway beyond the door.

A moment later, a bright light emerged from the doorway along with a high-pitched noise.

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Fuck, that's bright and loud.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): You think you had it bad, imagine what it was like to be right next to it as it goes off, also the stream muffled some of the noise automatically.]

[Netononato (Earth): Then why is the streamer alright?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Most likely his helmet filtered out most of the light and sound.]

As the light and noise faded, Adam peeked around the door to find all the gang members that had been waiting in ambush unconscious on the floor, and so he entered the hallway and started picking them off one by one with a single shot to the head.

Soon, Adam reached the doorway that led to the drug packaging room and found that it was closed this time; however, as he looked through the window in the doorway, he saw that people were still hard at work while a few gang members had their weapons aimed at the door.

As they spotted him looking through the door window, they tensed and focused their aim on the door while saying something that caused those who were previously working to stop what they were doing and pull out their weapons, which they pointed at the door.

[Puntanghunter69 (Earth): What happened to the concept of women only dressed in their underwear being the ones sorting the drugs?]

"Spector, hack the door so that it only opens a few inches," Adam said as he held his uniband over the door control.

[[Affirmative]]

A moment later, the door slid open a few inches, causing all those inside to start firing their blasters, although one or two shots managed to find the gap in the door, most only ended up impacting the door itself.

"Why has the door only opened partway?" Adam and the chat heard one of the gang members ask.

"Don't ask me." Another replied as Adam pulled another item from his utility belt.

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Is he going to use the shock pellet again to stun them all?]

[MerceadAnderson (Palaxia): That looks way bigger than a shock pellet to me.]

[Lizziethetruepower (Palalxia): Looks like a grenade to me.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Oh fuck yeah, streamer, you know how to do it for me, baby.]

The grenade in Adam's hand was shaped like a hexagonal prism with curved ends and had a red button on the top, which Adam pressed before tossing it through the gap between the door, after which he said, "Close and seal the door."

"SHIT!" A few of the gang members cried as they saw the grenade flying into the room before the door closed again and sealed itself just as the grenade exploded. 

Instead of a huge boom, however, a flash of white-blue light was seen before everything within a five-meter radius was instantly vaporised, after which miniature thermal explosions were visible as they spread out from the point of definition before red-hot plasma appeared and started to burn everything it touched.

The gang members inside the drug packaging room screamed and panicked as they ran for the door and tried to open it; however, they soon realised it wouldn't budge and started pleading for mercy. 

Adam, however, ignored them and turned away as they would soon die from the smoke and heat.

As Adam continued down the hallway towards the elevator at the far end, He didn't cross anymore gang members as it seemed most of them had either been used for the ambush or to guard the drugs packaging room.

As he reached the elevator, he saw a set of stairs to the left that had previously been blocked from his view.

Adam pressed the elevator call button and waited for it to descend and the doors to open while he raised his automatic blaster just in case.

After a few moments, the elevator dinged to show its arrival before the doors opened; however, to the chat's disappointment, no one was inside it.

[Banguela007 (Vinox 3): Lame.]

[Devil_Prince_Asura (Deverinian 9): I was expecting another ambush.]

[DobbyL (Darah 5): It's probably waiting upstairs.]

Adam stepped inside and looked at the floor controls, and saw that it went up three floors. He pressed the button for the third floor before quickly leaving the elevator before the doors closed and headed for the stairs.

[Razzakel (Ravonar 4): Wait, he's not taking the elevator?]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): I'm getting Deja vu again, didn't we see something like this in his early streams?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Yeah, but that time he sent something up in the elevator that knocked the guards out.]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Why not do that this time?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Because last time they weren't expecting him, this time they obviously know he's coming because they laid an ambush.]

As he reached the stairs, Adam activated his anti-gravity drive, and after his wings emerged, he started to fly up the stairs quickly and quietly.

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Oh, I get it, clever idea.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Care to fill us in?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): He sent the elevator up as a distraction; anyone waiting in ambush is going to assume he is riding it up. Also, since they won't be able to hear him climbing the stairs since he's flying, any guards stationed at the stairwell door will probably redeploy to ambush him at the elevator.]

[Justiceistruth: (Earth): Someone's about to get seriously disappointed when he doesn't arrive in the elevator.]
