Chapter 118: Glow Sticks

"Understood." Adam replied as he continued to follow the directions on his minimap.

"Well shit, I was hoping it was going to be a stingy dark alley deal, I guess Max is too high class to want to be seen down one of those." Adam commented after he looked at the minimap and saw that Max appeared to have entered a building.

Adam turned a corner and rode his hoverbike down the road that the building Max had just entered was on and as he passed it he saw that it appeared to be a nightclub called 'Skull Rose'.

"Well when sector security is just fellow gang members I suppose you can advertise where you operate from." Adam mumbled as he rode a little further up the road before pulling a U-turn and pulling over.

"He did?" Susan asked in surprise before saying, "I thought he told you he wouldn't be streaming such a boring event."

"Yeah though by the looks of it it's not so simple as he's down the street from the Skull Rose nightclub." Stacey replied as she opened the stream on her uniband.

"I wonder if I can watch it?" Susan asked as she went to a streaming platform and found Adam's stream posted on the promo banner at the top.

"Heh I can." She said happily as she opened the stream.

"Well no use standing around." Adam said as he climbed off the hoverbike before opening a cargo space that was located under the seat.

He placed his blaster and beam sabre within before closing it and walking towards the club.

Adam approached the queue for the nightclub and waited several minutes until it was his turn where a large bouncer grouchily said, "Next."

"Spread." The bouncer ordered as Adam stepped forward before he started to pat him down.

"When he reached his right leg and felt something he stopped and said suspiciously, "What's this?"

"A glow stick." Adam replied calmly.

"What's a glow stick?" The bouncer asked.

"You've never been to a club or concert where they had glow sticks?" Adam asked in surprise.

"No"

"Mind if I show you?" Adam asked.

"Slowly." The bouncer said as he placed a hand over where his blaster was located causing his colleague and those nearby to pay attention.

Adam nodded before he slowly reached down and pulled out what his chat recognised as his force staff.

"It looks like a stick that could be used as a weapon to me?" The bouncer said with narrowed eyes.

"Not at all, look." Adam said before he pressed a button that made a white light illuminate at one end of the force staff.

As he pressed the button again the light changed colour to red and kept changing as he pressed the button.

"See, then you wave it around." Adam said as he started to jump up and down like he was dancing at a concert while waving the light around.

The bouncer looked at his colleague who shrugged before going back to checking the patron in front of him.

"Were they drunk?" The bouncer asked, causing those who heard him to laugh.

Adam put the force staff away as he entered the dimly lit club and heard the sound of music beating further in as he pulled up his hood while the chat noticed his body started to disappear from there view after he did so.
