Chapter 104: Solarion Tale

Chapter 104: Solarion Tale

Colt’s long black hair started to shimmer.

The faint light at first, like embers in the dark.

Then brighter.

Brighter.

The air around him distorted.

The shimmering grew into a flood of pure golden light, so intense Elius had to shield his eyes.

Colt’s hair flared outward like a solar storm, stretching into the air like a living corona.

And with it—

WOOOM!

His aura returned.

But this time, it was even stronger.

So strong that the dead ground beneath him cracked and shattered.

The Anti-Magic Galactic Worm, sensing the shift, twisted its grotesque body to face Colt fully.

Colt only smiled, his teeth flashing white.

Then—

Swoosh!

He cocked his fist back.

For a moment, the world seemed to suck inward, like holding its breath.

"I have a Solarion Pride that can make me adapt to anything!"

Colt said and then he punched forward.

BOOOOOOM!!!!

A titanic laser of golden energy erupted from his fist, expanding as it roared across the dead landscape.

It slammed into the worm with cataclysmic force.

The worm howled, its grotesque mouth stretching impossibly wide, its body writhing and buckling under the titanic beam.

But the beam didn’t stop.

It kept pouring out of Colt’s fist like an endless, burning river.

The golden light wrapped the worm entirely, drowning it, cooking it, erasing it atom by atom.

Elius stood frozen, serious, his fists clenched at his sides.

The devouring light lasted what felt like an eternity.

Seconds dragged into minutes.

The ground shook continuously.

Mountains crumbled in the distance.

The very sky seemed to split open, veins of golden fire tearing through the sickly green.

Finally, finally, the beam began to thin.

The last remnants of golden light flickered out into dying sparks.

And the worm—

Gone.

Not a scrap of flesh remained.

Only a long, smoking trench carved into the ruined landscape.

Colt shook out his hand lazily, like he’d just thrown a baseball.

Then he turned to Elius, grinning that same infuriating, carefree grin.

"Huh," Colt said, dusting off his sleeves. "That worm’s almost as strong as that elemental old man I fought yesterday."

Elius’s expression darkened immediately.

In his mind, the name surfaced like a nightmare—

Kepler.

SS-Class.

One of the few national-level guardians of Earth.

A man known for mastering the elemental forces themselves.

A man who should have been untouchable, unbeatable.

And yet—

If Colt was casually comparing this worm to Kepler, if he was laughing about it—

It meant only one thing.

Kepler was dead.

Killed by Radiant Man.

A deep chill settled into Elius’s bones.

His father is a superhero in this comic who is like Superman, but unlike Superman, his father can cause devastating quakes like this and obliterate several planets.

It’s like a laser beam that comes out of his punch, but it is big and powerful! And it can adapt to any kind of opponent.

And this is his father!

He is only one of many; the Solarion Empire is full of creatures like him, and his father is just one of the strongest soldiers, not even comparable to a commander and generals.

Colt clapped him on the back hard enough to stagger him.

"That—" Colt said brightly, "—is one of the hidden powers of the Solarion bloodline. We call it the Solarion Pride."

He raised his hand, letting a few golden sparks dance between his fingers.

"You’ll learn it someday too, my son."

Elius kept his face blank, unmoving.

But inside—

Panic.

I need to find Keith, he thought grimly. Fast. If I don’t awaken a power similar to this laser Solarion Bloodline, he’ll find out.

Keith Northrim—the real son of Radiant Man.

The one with the legitimate Solarion bloodline sleeping inside him.

Elius clenched his teeth quietly.

Without that power, without that bloodline—he was dead.

No excuses.

No forgiveness.

Colt turned to him, still smiling.

"Aren’t you surprised? How did I defeat it despite suppressing my power? How did I manage to use my power again?" he asked.

Elius met his gaze calmly.

"No," he said.

Colt burst out laughing, a hearty, genuine laugh that echoed across the dead world.

"Of course you’re not," he said, wiping a tear from his eye. "I already saw your Solarion Pride when you fought that Lava Scissor guy! That move—and the reason why you can hurt him like a mortal being—But that’s just your innate ability. The real one—"

He gestured at the still-smoking horizon where the worm had been.

"—is the Solarion Roar. The laser that obliterated that ugly bastard. But you will learn it once you reach the peak level of F ranked and I am waiting for that to happen."

He threw his arms wide.

"That’s how strong I am, my son."

Elius didn’t smile.

His voice came out cold, flat.

"What do you want to tell me, father?"

"Get straight to the point."

The words hung heavy in the air.

Colt paused.

The smile on his face froze, then slowly faded.

For the first time in the entire day, he grew serious.

Colt’s gaze burned into Elius, sharp and direct.

"You asked me to get straight to the point," Colt said. His voice, no longer playful, sounded low, resonant, as if it carried the gravity of countless worlds.

"I will tell you now. You deserve to know."

The winds around them slowed, almost as if the dead world itself was holding its breath.

"I am not from this planet," Colt said.

Elius blinked, eyes widening slightly—just enough to appear surprised, just enough to sell the lie that he didn’t already know.

"I..." Elius murmured, allowing a hesitation to slip into his voice. "I didn’t know."

Colt smiled faintly, pleased by the reaction.

"I come from a realm beyond this one, a place you cannot yet imagine. A world where the stars themselves bow to kings, where bloodlines decide fate. A world ruled by an ancient lineage... the Solarion Empire."

The way he said it—Solarion Empire—it was almost reverent, like a sacred chant.

Elius remained silent, eyes steady, hiding the hurricane brewing inside his chest.

Colt lifted a hand to the broken sky, fingers splayed as if grasping for something beyond sight.

"Our goal," Colt continued, "was the same as it has always been. To perfect the Solarion bloodline. To restore it to its original purity—the legendary Cosmic Solarion Lion."

Elius almost scoffed in his heart, but kept his face blank.

Of course, he thought. A cosmic lion. Always the damn lions with these self-worshipping empires.

Colt’s voice deepened further, growing almost... fanatical.

"To achieve this, we had to search the universe. Civilization after civilization. World after world. Stars, galaxies, nebulas, shattered realms—you name it, we traversed it. We spread our seed—our royal blood—into the lower lifeforms."

He paused, letting the words hang heavy.

"If the offspring that came from those seeds proved stronger than the rest, they would be deemed worthy. Taken back to the Empire. Integrated. Bred with the purest descendants. Their blood mixed, refined, and perfected."

Colt’s eyes gleamed with a feverish light.

"That is our goal. That is our sacred duty. To make the bloodline whole again. To resurrect the might of the first Cosmic Solarion Lion, whose roar shattered star systems and whose pride alone caused empires to kneel."

Elius stood motionless.

Inside, he wanted to sneer.

Spreading their seed? Perfecting their bloodline? How pathetic, he thought. You’re not gods. You’re parasites.

But outwardly, he nodded slowly, digesting the revelation as if it were shaking his world.

"I see," Elius said quietly. "Then... does that mean I’m one of those offspring?"
