Sleeping With The CEO
Chapter 211: Chocolate Care

Chapter 211: Chocolate Care

Her plan had been simple.

She would walk into Derek’s bathroom. Stand under his shower spray, and enjoy the water pressure for what would probably be the last time. And then from there, she would go back into the bedroom. Gather up the bloody sheets, get them cleaned. Then once that was done, she would pick up her stuff and be on her way.

That had been the general gist of what she had intended on doing. But the moment that Emily had stepped out of the shower, she had realized that there was a huge flaw in her plan.

Whether it was because of the shock of her period suddenly appearing. Or whether she was suffering from a brain fog due to her menstruation, Emily did not know. But what she did know for sure was that she had made a huge error in judgement.

She had made all of those plans with the assumption that after showering she would just slap on a pad and be going on about her business. Handling things like she normally did.

But she had forgotten one very important thing.

She was not at home where she kept a supply of sanitary pads ready for every month. Plus she also did not have her handbag. Which was where she normally placed at least two pads to make sure that she had enough with her should an emergency pop up.

Instead, she had taken just a regular bag and thrown in a change of clothes. There had been no pads in sight because she had not been expecting her period for at least another week. But not only had it come early. It had come at a time when she had been sleeping in bed with Derek. And now she had ruined his sheets and most probably his opinion of her.

So in what counted as being among some of her most embarrassing moments. Rather than heading out, Emily had sat down on the toilet. The self-heating seat only making her feel slightly better. At least her wait was not being carried out while she was freezing her butt off.

A towel around her shoulders, Emily had sat and thought.

Part of her had thought that it was a perfectly reasonable thing to just sit on Derek’s toilet and not move. She would just wait until her period was done and only then would she go out into the outside world. That way she would not have to deal with anything that she did not want to.

Luckily her logical self, quickly squashed that idea.

Who had time to sit on a toilet for seven days and not move? Not only would that add to her embarrassment. She was pretty sure that it was likely to kill her, either from boredom or from her developing a blood clot. Just sitting in one place like that would not be healthy at all. So Emily had decided to just bite the bullet and call out for Derek. And just as she had been about to do so, the man himself had knocked on the other side, and Emily had answered, trying her best not to seem too eager.

She told him that she needed sanitary pads. Saying the two words with as much nonchalance as she could muster. And when she’d heard him leave, she had breathed a sigh of relief. That had been close to half an hour ago, and now she heard Derek open and close the bedroom door.

She waited and sure enough a few seconds later there was a light knock on the door. "Emily. Are you decent?" He asked.

"No," She called back, fighting a smile at the awkward phrase. There was a pause, and then she heard him clearing his throat.

"Alright. I have managed to buy a few supplies. I was unsure.

What exactly it was that you needed. So I bought a little bit of everything just to be on the safe side," Emily tilted her head in confusion.

What on earth did he mean a little bit of everything? Pads were not that complicated. People just bought one brand. And if they did not like it, then they would at least have one pad.

to tide them over while they returned to the store.

Oh. She had forgotten to give him a brand name, period brain fog was something else.

Emily usually bought herself a brand that she liked. They were leak proof ones that were also not scented so they did not irritate her skin. Deciding to find out, what he had bought. Emily called out to him.

"Alright, just open the door and put them next to it. After you are done, close it, and I will come and get them," She told him.

Emily heard a rustling sound coming from beyond the door and then it opened. The bathroom was large enough that it was one of those where the toilet was artfully hidden from view. You did not just walk in and see it. Emily did not have to worry about any accidental peeking. But it also meant that she would not get to see what Derek had bought until he’d closed the door, and she could go and see.

It took longer than she had expected for her to hear the familiar click of the door closing again. Then Derek called out,

"You can come and get them," He said.

Taking a breath, Emily got up and tiptoed her way over to the door. And then she froze. What on earth had Derek done? Had he bought out the entire store? What if somewhere out there, there was a store with an entire aisle devoid of sanitary products?

What the man had done was overkill. It seemed as though he had bought every single brand of pads that he could find. Not only that, Emily delved into the other bags and found tampons, panty liners, and even diva cups. Just how many vaginas did he think she had? Was Derek of the mind that she bled oceans of blood each month.

Did he think that she was going to use the stuff all at once. Torn between laughter and being horrified. Emily decided to just look through the pile. Searching through the bags, she found that Derek had managed to buy the unscented winged pads, that she liked and she let out a sigh of relief.

Good, at least she would not have to be worried about having a bad reaction. Putting the pad on with practiced ease, Emily then wrapped herself in a towel and went outside. Her plan had been to just get dressed and start with the cleanup.

But when she came to the bedroom, she found the sheets changed. And not only that, the ones that she had ruined were already at the edge of the bed, and when she touched them, they were warm, and they smelled of detergent.

Oh, he washed them, she thought. And it made Emily feel all tingly inside.

She had never thought that Derek would be considerate like that.

But despite him being considerate, Emily knew that she had to talk to him. She had to find out whether or not this was a deal breaker for him. So as quickly as she could, she got dressed and headed downstairs. Emily found him in the kitchen, unpacking some of the other stuff that he had bought.

"Hey," He said when he saw her, not seeming bothered in the least. Reaching into one of the bags, he pulled out something,

and slid it towards Emily. Her mouth watered when she saw what it was.

Chocolate!

Without a second thought, she grabbed it and took a bite. Moaning around the pure pleasure that overcame her at the taste of it.

"So, the sales attendants were not trying to cheat me. This stuff really works," Derek said, his voice full of wonder. And when Emily opened her eyes. She found him staring at her, a smile on his face. Remembering why she had come down there in the first place, Emily tried to adopt a serious expression.

"Will this be a problem for you," She asked.

"We can just stop the whole sleeping together thing if it is," She told him. Derek shrugged, his eyes full of understanding.

"You have no problem with my body’s morning ritual. So I see no point in me having a problem with something that you have no control over either. So let’s just call it even. We sleep together. We deal with what it brings. Alright?" Was it really that simple.

Finding no signs of deception in Derek’s face, she felt her heart flutter. Taking another bite of the chocolate, Emily nodded enthusiastically.

"Alright. Let’s keep doing this,"
