I felt depleted, completely spent after that release, it was just like that day but I wasn’t sleepy but instead so tired that I couldn’t move from my position, my arms tightly secured around William’s neck as I tried to calm my breathing, everything became blurry and my eyes closed.

I felt my back placed against the bed gently and I felt cozy and too tired to even move a muscle, was it always like this after a release?

I felt a movement between my legs, and I moaned. I was still sensitive and unable to make sense of the situation, whatever it was I didn’t want it to stop, something wet was dampening me and the movement was yet skillful.

"Ava If you keep moaning that means you want to go for another ride" At the sudden grumble, I flashed my eyes open and met with amused orbs, my lips parted when I saw the scene before me enough to make one’s head spin. My legs were spread out before William and he was gently wiping me with a towel.

I was dumbstruck. He wiped me clean and closed my legs before drawing down my nightgown, my cheeks tinted and words lost to me, he rose to his feet and I spot glossy creamy stuff on his pants, in pure embarrassment and realization I turned to the side curving like a ball, my heart hammering.

Dear gods, what am I gonna do now? What will happen now? I do not know what to say!

I looked to the side hoping to see William but I met with an empty chamber and quickly sat up and looked around... still no sign of him, I didn’t even hear the door.

"William?" my heart sank. I pulled my knee to my chest and rested my chin on my kneecap. Did he just leave? I didn’t want him to... if I have to push off my embarrassment I would!

The sudden sound of the door caught my attention, I looked towards it instantly but the giant door remained closed and I blinked in confusion, didn’t I just hear the door or was it my imagination?

At the corner of my eyes, I caught something silver and turned to find William walking to the bed, shirtless with only pants hanging loosely on his waist, just so low that I could spot the V shape that led to something I wasn’t quite ready to see, so I trained my gaze back to his solid abs, 10 abs was what I counted and it intrigued me, he was really was larger than an average male, the books I read depicted nothing of what William wield.

His lean muscles, his broad frame, I even caught droplets of water on them.

He just had a bath? But he didn’t leave the room...

I darted my eyes behind him and caught a door behind the brown curtains, a single giant door I have never seen before.

"It’s lead to the bath" William’s words caught me out of thought and I brought my attention back to him.

"Really?" I asked in wonder, but how, the bath was at the far end of this place, and even though this whole place was like a maze there was no way that door was connected to it.

"Magic" I mumbled in realization, a strange thing I was yet to understand but the little I knew was that thing was capable of doing things beyond human understanding, defiling all laws of the earth.

"Smart girl"

I turned my eyes to William who was already seated beside me, he reached for me and pulled some strand of my brown hair behind my ear and I blushed, leveling my gaze.

"I thought you left"

"Why would I leave? This is my chambers"

Good point... I was stupid enough to think such. "Nevermind" I mumbled and he tilted his head to the side observing me.

"Are you uncomfortable?"

"N-No"

"Do you regret what happened?"

"N-No!"

"Good"

"D-Do you?"

He placed his hand beneath my chin and leaned toward me. "Why would I regret something I have been thinking about doing these past few days?"

He has been thinking about it for days?

"You must be tired, sleep, Ava," he said placing a kiss on my forehead and I did as I was told too weak to ask more questions, I laid on my side facing him and I noticed he remained in that same position leaning his back against the headboard and looking down at me with those beautiful eyes.

"H-How long will you keep staring at me?" I mumbled with a smile on my lips.

"I like listening to your heartbeat when you sleep"

"Oh," I mouthed.

He parted some strands of my hair that had covered my face when I changed position. I was beginning to think he was using my hair as an excuse just to touch, not that I was complaining of course. My hair in the first place wasn’t that much obstructing the view.

I love it when he touches me, he does it like it was a natural thing to him.

"William?"

"Yes?"

"I read something in a book about a picnic and I saw pictures too" I began biting my bottom lip, suddenly remembering what I read last. "C-Can we have a picnic?" My sudden request was blunt but I was planning to bring it up sooner or later.

"I know I shouldn’t ask, I know you’re a busy man and I’m not allowed outside and-"

"But you want to go outside do you not?"

I sighed nodding my head, I missed the air from outside, the direct sunlight, the forest even, and the smell of nature, staying here wasn’t bad and I was comfortable and I have my craving too, I remember the last time I ventured outside the garden, I knew William was mostly angry because we made eye contact and he was caught unaware that I also endanger my life but I had a feeling he was angry I came out.

I heard a rustle and darted my eyes to him. He laid beside me now with his elbow pressed against the pillow and his hand holding his head, the other playing with my hair. wrapping a strand of it around his finger. Even at this lowered position I still had to look up to meet his eyes.

How can someone seem like a sculpted being? Only William could look like that, he was breathless.

"Outside of these four walls is a place you’re not ready to be a part of" he began. "No... I cannot allow you to be anywhere but inside this library"
