SILVER-HEART
Chapter 54: Dream

Chapter 54: Dream

Dear gods, all this was all too much, it was a speeding hunger that would destroy him, she was making him go mad and what almost brought him to his knees were her words...

’I want to be a better bride to you’

Those words brought unusual feelings to his body and made him far more fascinated by how she intended to do that, she seemed quite determined all of a sudden.

His eyes darted to the space beside her, the temptation came again to lay beside her, but he wasn’t tired but he didn’t care, after all, there was a heater so he shouldn’t worry about overusing his aura again... besides he can hopefully create a balance for her sake.

The temptation was far stronger now with every thought that crossed his mind he could no longer resist laying beside her.

Unbeckoned to him as he lay by her side he finally found himself in the realms of sleep... what he has not intended.

It was a soft melody, it was faint and distant. But the rhythm brought him a sense of familiarity, it was too great and overwhelmed his entire body... it was a soft humming sound, he didn’t know what it meant but he knew the sweet humming was directed for him and only him... was it a memory? Or perhaps a dream?

His vision blurred too... they were all too bright, and the air was chilly but the warmth from whoever held him was powerful, able to shield him from all the cold, the gentle finger movement on his hair, just who is this? And what is this touch? It felt so familiar and it weighed heavy in his heart.

He tried further to make his vision clear but it was a hard feat, but he could make out a feminine feature, and the said female has... silver hair?

Overwhelmed, William flicked his eyes open and met with brown eyes staring back at him, he narrowed them and blinked just to make sure but the gaze still remained on him.

"Ava," he said just to be sure, for he was certain someone was humming and it was definitely not Ava, that person had silver hair just like him, was it a dream? He has never had a dream before... Even if he sat in a particular position for a slight rest, there was nothing of the sort, just darkness until he opened his eyes again, but this time it was different, a dream like he was teleported to another world.

"Good morning, William"

He darted his confused gaze to his fairy who still had her eyes on him, there was a smile on her lips too, almost like she couldn’t hold in amusement.

"You said you were not tired and yet I found you sleeping beside me" She chuckled along with her words and he only just watched her helping herself to amusement.

Yes, he recalled that. the strong temptation to just lay beside her and before he knew it he was already sleeping.

I awoke and found William soundly asleep beside me, I was frozen right at my spot, for this was a rare sight to behold, his eyes closed revealing his silver eyelashes to explore more, the peaceful look he had, he looked like a realistic painting before me, alluring me deeper the longer I looked at it, he was just so beautiful if he doesn’t have a manly structured face and built... I was certain William would have passed as a female. His silver hair was left to spread out behind him like a wave. I should be thankful he slept with his robe on, because I didn’t know what I would do if I found him bare beside me.

The Images of what happened last night still fogged my brain, I kept telling myself it was a dream but I was silly to think of such, it was far too real for I could still feel his touch between my legs, it was almost like he left an imprint there, it was far too great and it made my head swamp with several thoughts. Just what did he do? The touch. That touch... What was it? Was it part of the lesson from ’Ways of Pleasure’? And of course my body reacted to it. William ended up being right. I was attracted to him and it made my body feel strange.

I gently shifted my gaze to his sleeping form, and it seemed like William was attracted to me too. I was caught out of my thoughts when William frowned slightly in his sleep, it was a quick change because he looked like he was sculpted next to me with that particular expression so it was strange to see him frown all of a sudden... was he having a bad dream?

Suddenly he gently flicked his eyes open and I could not help but smile when he set his confused gaze on me, almost like I was a dream myself, his crystal green eyes were so breathtaking, I have never seen a being with such eyes, almost like he was specially born this way.

"Ava," he said in a trance.

"Good morning, William" I mused because I couldn’t hold it anymore it felt like I caught him in an act.

"You said you were not tired and yet I found you sleeping beside me" A giggle followed, it was nice to catch him in such an act, perhaps he was capable of making mistakes.

I gasped when grabbed my waist and yanked me to him, I stilled and stared wide-eyed at him, we were closer now to the point I could feel his breath wash upon my face, so hot.

"Were you humming?" he asked like he wanted to be sure of something.

I blinked confused, I don’t recall doing such, I only just woke up. So I shook my head in a no.

He looked to the side almost like he was thinking about something.

"D-Did you have a bad dream?"
