SILVER-HEART
Chapter 49: Cooling Her Down

Chapter 49: Cooling Her Down

William gently laid Ava on his bed, her breath was hollow and her features held beams of sweat, could this be that his cold aura wasn’t working? How come? He checked her pulse, her skin alone was burning, this wasn’t about what happened that caused her to faint out of embarrassment... This was something more.

So he aimed to find the source of the heat taking over her body, he held her firm in his arms and placed a hand on her back, the upper part of it, and that was when he felt it... the source of the heat taking over Ava’s body... if he had just been any other magical being his hand would have burnt off in the heat, but this was nothing he couldn’t handle.

He pulled the sleeve of her shirt down and his green orbs fell on her mark, it was redder than the rest of her skin like it was a burnt imprint. He was familiar with the mark of a fairy. A vermillion red tattoo, tiny and well crafted, a birthmark she was born with and consist of a butterfly, but the craft was different from the normal one you usually see, the wings were like a craft curl design down to the last detail, like it took so much time being forged on her skin.

That was what caught William’s undying attention, for he knew what a fairy tattoo should look like but this was completely different, it looked alien to him, or was this a pattern he was yet to know about?

Her sudden groan in pain caught his attention, and the tattoo made a hissing sound as it continued to burn through her skin.

"Fuck!" he cursed silently to himself, if he doesn’t act this will definitely burn her skin off or worse. So he did the only thing he could without a second thought, he ripped her clothes off.

"Forgive me Ava" he mumbled to himself. He was doing something unrefined but he had no choice, it wasn’t like it was a big deal for him for all parts of her body belong to him but she was yet to grasp that fact and what he had done would be invading her privacy without permission, whatever in hells that meant. But he knew he had to do this... there was no other choice, a spell can’t stop this only his aura can.

He covered her up the moment he laid her bare and proceeded to take off his waistcoat and his long sleeve shirt and then until he was in his birthday suit just as he left her.

He climbed into the bed with her and slipped into the covers and held her tightly against his large frame, it felt like he was holding a doll but he just tried to be gentle in his grip so that he doesn’t snap her, he knew when it comes to physique he was quite bigger than a normal male, one of the traits of being a god.

Making sure his palm covered her tattoo and he released his cold aura enormously than he did before. This could affect the weather and make the mansion get covered in cold but he didn’t care... he only cared about cooling down his fairy.

Sophia was out playing in the garden but suddenly it started snowing and her laughs and giggles ceased as she looked up and caught a snowflake.

"Snow?" she said puzzled, turning to Severus who was seated at the chair set about taking his tea.

It was meant to be hot but it was so cold that it felt like ice.

"Hells!" he cursed the moment the cold texture found his lips.

"Master is releasing his cold aura," Elvenia said looking at the mask of snow that suddenly covered everywhere.

"Why would the master do that?" Severus said, already shivering.

’Master never makes use of his cold aura without warning’ Elvenia thought worried for she knew her master was born with two different auras, hot and cold, fire and ice. It was quite draining when he overused one of them, even for a god like him there was a risk. ’Something must have happened’ she thought without a doubt, for she knew her master never does anything without a reason. But what could this reason possibly be? This weather not only affects the library but the other magical civilization that lay in these other parts.

’Master’ she was extremely worried.

I can’t remember the last time I felt this hot... maybe I never had until now, it felt like I was on fire, like I was burning and it was a very painful feeling, I really wanted it to stop because it hurts so much. I now understood what it meant to be burnt at the stake, I should count myself lucky that didn’t happen to me back in the mortal Realm.

The hot feeling was suddenly gone and replaced with something cold, it felt like I was on top of ice and it instantly cools off my body and actually let me relax, I eased into the feeling... the set of strong arms around me and the feeling of my forehead against a chest, it was so comforting to be buried in it and I smuggled more into it as a peaceful sleep carried me... it wasn’t hurting anymore.

I stirred awake thinking how long I have been asleep, I groaned coming to it and trying to force my eyes open as I tried to clear them from the blur I started to think about what happened, I have a brief memory loss right but it is coming to me bit by bit.

"Ava"

At the soft voice, my blurry gaze cleared and fell at the foot of the bed I assumed I laid on, it stopped on a lean muscular waist wearing pants, I had to blink to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. But when I opened my clear sight it was still there... so they trailed... a really long line and I let my eyes feast upon packs, I have seen a picture of the male body in of the books I read so I clearly knew what I was seeing but this... was perfection in one body, well defined like he was carved from clay to just be perfect as he is.

Flawless pale smooth skin and it made me wonder if they felt the same too, his chest was broad and he looked like a set of manliness that almost got me drooling, maybe I already am, with the way his silver hair fell loosely on his shoulders, like a series of threads, falling on his chest too, they were all over the place like he just got up from bed.

The moment I landed my orbs on his crystal-like green I knew who I was staring at now...

"W-William"
