Seeing intruders gathering outside their territory, the two sentient lotus flower spirits had started attacking people beyond the defensive formation created by their master, the moon goddess. They didn’t care who they were. Since their mother had ordered to kill them all then these obedient little cubs would do as they were told. The liger cub should have ferocious nature sneaking an attack and dragging the enemies near the barrier making them unable to escape the vines of the two flower spirits.

It took awhile for the enemies to recognize these cubs. They couldn’t believe they weren’t humans.

"Fuck! Flower spirits! Two of them!"

"How can this be possible!? They look no different than human children!"

"Ah! Save me!"

"I can’t cut the vines! Just how powerful are these flower spirits!?"

While the others were being attacked, Su Gin’er who was taken in by the vine of Yue Huaxiue had safely entered the formation. She watches as the two cute toddlers beside her easily kill a group of Jindan cultivators like slaughtering chickens. There is even the cute little Liger Cub, which is now covered in blood from his prey.

It was only at this moment that Su Gin’er believed that these two toddlers were Nascent Soul Realm Flower Spirits. Even though they are a bit weaker than her grandmother, they were much stronger than her. But for some reason, their aura had no hint of overbearing towards her. It made her understand that these two toddlers were smarter than how they look.

"Did Miss Yue say something other than fighting?" asked Su Gin’er.

Yue Huaxue looked at her with round eyes, blinking innocently making the former mellow under her stares.

"Big sister is strange. Why would Mommy care for these insects? The only reason we are exterminating them is because they are attacking the formation and since it hasn’t completely stabilized yet. It’s so noisy that she can’t even take a nap."

The speaker looked so adorable and cuddly it was just that her words were full of disdain and indifference. These cubs look at their enemies no different from a lovely human child but in their hearts their priorities are loud and clear. They only listen to their master. To the people their master is kind to, they will be no different than adorable babies. However, towards their enemies, they are killing machines that don’t listen to other than orders from their master. Thankfully, Yue Xuexia cared for them like her children and wouldn’t overdo things that may cause them harm.

"Retreat! Retreat! We can’t fight them!"

"Report to the Holy Witch!"

"Tell them we found what she is looking for!"

The words of the toddler rendered Su Gin’er speechless. More than half of the people who were chasing the princess of Qin were killed by the cubs as a few of them escaped with their lives. Whether it was intentionally or not, these few who had lived run back to the Holy Witch to report.

Su Gin’er was a bit uncomfortable seeing that the toddlers let the attackers sent by the Holy Witch go.

"You shouldn’t have let them go. The Holy Witch, one of the strongest in the Herb Valley, would be coming next," Su Gin’er said.

Yue Huashui who had enough fun and just finished washing the Liger Cub said, "No worries. Whoever that Holy Witch is, she won’t be able to defeat Mom."

"That’s right. Mommy is so strong. There is also Uncle Shen. Let’s go, Mommy should be done cooking," said Yue Huaxue as she dragged Su Gin’er and her brother, Yue Huashui with her.

At the mansion, Yue Xuexia had just finished treating Princess Qin. The Moon Goddess usually only uses her sacred healing when the patient is dying or ordinary means of treatment is ineffective. The wounds on Princess Qin Yaoyun might be a bit deep but with Blood Replenishing Pill and sewing the wound, her life was no longer in danger.

When the cubs and Su Gin’er arrived, they saw Yue Xuexia had just finished cooking in the kitchen. She didn’t seem surprised by the arrival of Su Gin’er with the cubs.

The Moon Goddess said, "You guys are back. That’s good. Help me carry the dishes out to the dining hall. Su Gin’er, you can join us for dinner. Let’s talk as we eat."

During dinner, none of the cubs or the guest had time to speak. Yue Xuexia’s cooking has always been top class. Moreover, she always uses ingredients with energy in it which would help in increasing one’s qi. It is the most desirable food in the cultivation world, Spirit Food. Normally, Cultivators had no need to eat as ordinary food had no effects on them.

However, Spirit food is different. It not only increases the energy in their bodies making them physically stronger. There are also some other effects like temporarily increasing one’s comprehension, additional effects like beautification, etc. Su Gin’er upon hearing that the dishes had the effect of beautification had immediately entered the battlefield and fought against the cubs for food.

Yue Xuexia watches them with an expression, yet her eyes are full of gentleness. While they were eating, Princess Qin Yaoyun woke up. She slowly opened her eyes with a blurry gaze. It took a while for her to regain her rationality and understand her situation. When she recalled that she was being chased by some people sent by the Old Witch, she sat up abruptly, almost ripping the sewed wound on her.

The pain spread all over her body and fell back on the bed. The softness on her back and the quietness of the place she is in made her calm down. After taking a few breaths to control the pain in her body, she recognized that she was in someone else’s house. The room she is in is full of lowkeyed luxurious things. Like the huge night pearl at the side table glowing lightly or the expensive wood partition not far from her or the blanket, bedsheet and pillowcases made of a high grade beast skin making it feel much better than silk. There is also the softness of the mattress under her, it was as if she was lying on clouds.

She also remembers hearing children’s voices and that pair of phoenix-shaped eyes enclosing silver irises within it. There is only one person she met that possessed such beautiful eyes.

"I was saved?" She mumbles and a small golden colored lotus flower appears before her rubbing its petals gently at her face.

After waiting for a while, Yue Xuexia arrived and brought a bowl of soup for her. She noticed that her patient was awake and had to come over to check on her. The cubs were left to Su Gin’er to handle for a while.

"You are awake. Be careful when moving. I’ve just treated your wounds and fed you a blood replenishing pill. Drink soup. Your internal wounds aren’t better yet, you can only have liquid meals for the next two days," Yue Xuexia said.

Princess Qin was helped by her flower spirit while sitting on the bed and received the soup from the Moon Goddess.

"Thank you for saving us, Senior," said Princess Qin Yaoyun.

Yue Xuexia didn’t stare at the patient and continued to read the books she got from the treasure land. Qin Yaoyun was observing the gorgeous lady in front of her. Unlike the veiled appearance of Yue Xuexia, her exposed features made even a princess like her in dazed. She is simply that beautiful.

"Is there something wrong with my face?" Yue Xuexia asked.

Princess Qin Yaoyun said, "Senior, your real appearance is so...heavenly!"

"Thank you," said Yue Xuexia as she didn’t mind the compliment but after hearing it multiple times she was already immune to it.

She then asked, "What is your plan next?"

"Senior, do you mind becoming enemies with the leaders of the Herb Valley?" Princess QIn Yaoyun asked.

Yue Xuexia closed the book she was holding and said, "You wouldn’t be here if I care. However, you must repay this favor in the future though." She stood up and left a healing pill on the side table.

Princess Qin Yaoyun said, "I shall repay you in this lifetime no matter what!"

"Good. Take this pill and meditate to heal your wounds." Yue Xuexia prepared to leave and said, "Do as you wish. If you want help, ask the cubs. As long as you are in my territory you won’t die even if the Gods come."

The Moon Goddess left after saying those words leaving Qin Yaoyun dumbfounded for a moment and realized what those meant. She didn’t expect such a young lady to be so powerful. She stares at the healing pill on the table and then suddenly, she recalled the reaction of the Holy Witch and the Divine Farmer when they talked about her ancestor. She stood up while bearing the pain and headed to the window and ignited a flare which flew towards the sky and exploded.

BOOOM!!!

A huge insignia of the Qin Royal family crest appeared above the mansion she was in. This flare was seen by everyone in the Herb Valley and even the nearby cities and other villages as it lasted for a good ten minutes in the sky.
