Though there are lots of ways for one to borrow someone’s body, it seems that Meiren didn’t have that intention and it wasn’t his doing that he ended up with that female body. It was because of this it is hard for Tan Bingyu, and their master to hate Renxue.

The moment Renxue’s soul completely fades her body has melted with the fading frost. The last thing they had seen was a bulb of light touching Tan Bingyu’s forehead as if giving her a kiss goodbye. Once the light had faded the silhouette of the ice phoenix had disappeared.

The ones who were left behind were looking at one another like well... Dumbfounded?

The three of them ascended the stone stairs once again and returned to the surface.
