Chapter 470: 470: Paying with Spirit Stones

Seeing that the seller of the house and land had finally decided to see through the transaction for house and land, the person who had brought Yue Xuexia to this place had acted as a witness between the original owner of the place and buyer, Yue Xuexia.

Elder Susan finally sat at the opposite seat where Yue Xuexia was enjoying her tea. She told them to serve themselves. They were about to decline the offer when they took a sniff from the lingering scent of tea brewed before them. A scent of minty floral fragrance assaulted their noses. What caught their attention is that this tea had the effects of increasing their qi.

The youngest from the other group couldn’t help but exclaim in shock.

"High-grade Spiritual Tea! But how come there is a scent of flowers?"

"Gin’er, watch your manners!" Reprimands Elder Susan.

Everyone took a peak at the veiled young lady who would only slightly raise her veil whenever she wanted to drink her tea. There is a weird glass like stick on her cup. Her drink was actually different from the hot tea served to the guests. Yue Xuexia is drinking her handmade ice rose milk tea.

The sound of ice hitting the glass cup echoes as Yue Xuexia stirs her drink. She is imagining that her milk tea would have tasted better if there were some nata in it. As the only girl near the age of Yue Xuexia, the young lady called Gin’er stared at the glass cup in Yue Xuexia’s hand and couldn’t help but swallow.

"Young miss, do you want to try my drink?" Yue Xuexia asked teasingly.

The young lady’s eyes sparkled when she heard such words and asked, "Can I truly?"

"Then I will teach you how to make it," said Yue Xuexia.

With a wave of her hands, a few more things appeared on the table. A small bucket of ice, empty tall glass cups, stirring rod and even a small bowl of honey and sugar syrup. There are also some fruit bits, crushed flower petals, etc.

Yue Xuexia took three empty glasses and decided to make drinks for her cubs. She started introducing the ingredients on the table.

"These on this side are crushed fruit bits, here is chocolate powder, coffee powder, sugary syrup, honey and crushed flower petals of all kinds of edible flowers."

"First choose the flavor you want to drink. If you want it fruity, take the crushed fruits you wanted to scoop some in your cup, same goes if you wanted a floral scent, a chocolate one or a coffee version. You can’t mixed everything as not all of it would taste good together~"

"Fruit and flower can be mixed, strawberry and chocolate is another combination. Honeyed fruits are also great. Well you can choose what you wish to drink. My cubs like drinking this too. One is a bit bitter so I would mix a bit of coffee in chocolate. The other likes fruits. Well the last one is a milk drinking cub, I can only give him honeyed milk."

Everyone watched as Yue Xuexia mixed three different drinks with sugary syrup or honey. The young lady tried strawberry chocolate.

She asked, "What’s next?"

"Next, you take the tea, pour it with the flavoring you want, add milk, then stir until it mixes well. You can add ice if you want it cold," said Yue Xuexia.

She made three drinks for the cubs, two slightly chilled and warm honeyed milk for the Liger cub. When it was done she finally called the kids to take their drinks away. The three cubs took their drinks and returned to the river to continue fishing.

As for the young lady named Gin’er she kept staring at her drink and finally added ice and the scent of her drink made her even more tempted. Just the fact that it had spiritual tea added in it made her want to drink it as soon as possible.

Yue Xuexia smiled and waved her hand for the second time. This time a rectangular container with unused glass straws was placed.

She said, "Use this to stir your drink more then sip slowly."

"T-Thank you," said Gin’er as she finally sipped the drink she had made.

Her face was full of smiles when the delicious taste assaulted her tongue. The balance of sweetness of tea, milk and sugar adding the fruity taste of strawberry and the unique light bitterness of cocoa.

"So delicious~" said Gin’er.

Yue Xuexia finally let the young lady enjoy the food and look at the elder.

She asked, "Have the elders thought of the price you wanted for the mansion and this land? I can be paid with spirit stones or if you want something else I will try to fulfill it as well. However, this place must be mine not only in name but the authority in it. I plan to add a formation all around the forest, the type that kills intruders."

"Does my lady have lots of enemies?" The house seller asked before.

Yue Xuexia asked, "No. However, it is dangerous to live in such a secluded place with just children. I need to do something to protect myself. After all, there are lots of being with covetous hearts~"

"The esteemed one is right. For both the land, mansion and the forest you can pay us in two ways. One thousand high-grade spirit stones, that’s 1 million low-grade spirit stones, or a treasure worth the same amount," Elder Susan said.

Yue Xuexia looked at the pile of spirit stones in the land beside them and hid two piles of spirit stones leaving only one.

She said, "I will pay through spirit stones. You may count them if it’s missing even a single piece you tell me and I shall repay you. You may send someone to give me the title deeds of the lands I have bought tomorrow. I hope this transaction ends nicely."

"It will. Please leave the rest to us. Everything should be arranged and done by tomorrow," Elder Susan said.

Yue Xuexia said, "That’s good. You can have the rest of the tea leaves as our meeting gifts. I would not be able to see you out but the children will do so."

She walked towards the mansion after taking the key from Elder Susan and left the guests to the cubs who unknowingly appeared beside them. A cute boy and an adorable baby girl holding a liger cub grabbed their sleeves.

Yue Huashui said, "Hi, we will see you out at Mom’s command."

"Mommy will be busy cleaning the house, so only Xuexue and Shui-gege can see the guests off. Please follow us~" said Yue Huaxue.

Elder Susan and the rest were startled at first but seeing that they are no different than children Gin’er had smiled and treated them kindly. They were sent near the road towards the valley’s center area only then did the toddlers disappear from their side.

Elder Susan said, "They are finally gone."

Her muscles, which were tense and stiff all the way, had finally relaxed. Her grandchildren supported her as she felt his legs weakening. The two youngsters and the agent that helped them sell the house seem a bit confused because of her reaction.

Gin’er asked, "Grandma, are you alright? What are you so nervous about? Aren’t those two just toddlers?"

"You guys don’t know anything! Do you think its easy for plant spirits to gain a human form. Only in a certain realm will they be able to do so. I couldn’t see through the realm of their master. It might be a treasure helping her hide it or her realm is higher than mine! It is most likely the latter," said Elder Susan.

Everyone didn’t believe the elders’ words at first. They couldn’t accept the fact that the lady from before is stronger than Elder Susan. After all, even if her face was hidden it can be seen that she is not even older than thirty years old. A lady at the peak of her life. The veil on her face would hide her majestic presence and elegance as well as her temperament that is indifferent to most things around her.

Her grandson, A’Ju said, "That can’t be because she is so young... How can she be stronger than Granny who is already one step to godhood? She was even so naive to play the 1 million low grade spirit stones without getting the title of the lands and the house."
