Chapter 382: Chapter 379: SHE IS STRANGE!

The next morning, Diamond could be seen running up and down in her room, gathering this and that with a flustered expression on her face.

After a while, she suddenly slowed down and plopped herself on the bed, a gloomy expression on her face.

{Mother ....} Andrea cautiously called, his voice sounding throughout the room.

Diamond expressionlessly looked at the wall, lost in thoughts and acted as if she didn’t hear Andrea calling her.

However, Andrea didn’t give up.

{I .... I will make up for my mistakes. But now, you need to be leaving. Otherwise, you will miss the flight!} he mentioned, his tone firmer than before.

Upon hearing that, Diamond suddenly sighed heavily as she raised her hands to her temples.

Without saying a word, she massaged her throbbing temples, suppressing the fury she had failed to bury for hours since last night.

However, just because she was in a bad state didn’t mean that she had to take it out, Andrea. He was innocent in this manner, but she couldn’t help but do it.

Maybe because he was the other person or entity besides her who knew what was happening, she couldn’t help but target him.

Nevertheless, what was wrong was wrong, and she was the one at fault.

So, with that sinking in her mind, she took another deep breath and said, "It’s not your fault, Andy. It never was. If I hadn’t ....." she stopped midway as she closed her eyes, squeezing some tears out at the same time.

If only she had listened to Andrea back then, wouldn’t she be in such a situation?

Andrea didn’t interject but watched as Diamond collected herself. If he interrupted now, he was afraid of what Diamond would do.

It took Diamond a while before she opened her eyes. They were red, and a bit swollen. Anyone could tell that she had cried and wasn’t in the right mood.

That was not what she wanted others to see.

Big girls don’t cry and even if they do, they don’t let the whole world witness that.

Without saying a word, Diamond vanished from the bed and appeared in her Golden Space.

She walked to the lake where she scooped some water and washed her face repeatedly until she felt refreshed.

When she appeared in her bedroom, her face no longer showed any signs of crying or heartbreak.

At least on the outside, she was still the ever-cheerful Diamond even though deep down inside, her world was collapsing.

This was the day that she was leaving for Strawford City and nothing should go wrong ever.

Since she didn’t have a private plane, and never bothered to buy one before, she had to take a public plane. If she missed her flight, she would be forced to take another flight sometime later, which wasn’t what she was looking for.

With that rush in mind, Diamond picked what to wear, and shortly she was done.

Dragging the suitcase, she roughly packed that morning out of the bedroom, she opened her mouth and started instructing Andrea, "Inform Hilary to cancel the plans for Valentine’s Day at the manor. I can’t have those two there at all!" her jaws clenched, and eyes spitting fire.

Andrea responded, {Then will there still be any plans?}

Diamond smiled slyly upon hearing that, "Of course, there should be. Otherwise, how can I unmask those two bastards?" she clicked her tongue as she said that before informing Andrea of the new plans.

Upon hearing the new plans, Andrea was silent for a while before he responded, {I will have Hilary start on the new plans right away.}

Diamond smiled, a vicious glint flashing across her eyes.

"Um. I will be counting on you!"

Meanwhile, downstairs, Garnet and Janet were waiting for Diamond to come down. Janet had prepared breakfast all ready for Diamond but the other wasn’t showing up.

While Garnet in charge of sending Diamond to the airport waited anxiously as well. If Diamond didn’t show up anytime soon, a miracle would be needed to fly to the airport at this stage.

Fortunately, the elevator dinged at that moment, announcing the arrival of Diamond, the person they both had been waiting for had arrived.

However, when they saw her, the two of them unknowingly looked at each other, question marks on top of their heads.

They knew Diamond well; it wasn’t much, but it was enough to understand that the person they were seeing right now wasn’t the person that they both knew.

Something about her seems strange and wrong. And right now, it was as if she was wearing a mask.

If she was really fine, then what was she wearing?

However, the two of them knew what to say and what not to say. So, they didn’t utter a word, except the greetings.

Diamond didn’t have time to eat freely at the table, so she had Janet pack her food. She was going to eat it on the way.

With that arranged, both Garnet and Diamond left the villa complex.

Diamond minded her own business, eating her food without saying much.

Once the food was finished, that’s when she started talking to Garnet.

"While I am gone, make sure that everything is well taken care of. I will take care of the accounts since there won’t be much for me to deal with. I ..." a string of instructions came smoothly out of her mouth and Garnet listened attentively, taking note of everything.

When Garnet thought that she was done, Diamond suddenly mentioned when they were about to reach the airport, "Check the Garden View Villa. I might be having my parents over and that place will be perfect to house them when they are here!"

After that, Garnet respectfully sent Diamond off before driving back home.

On her way, she called out Andrea, who responded swiftly without playing hide and seek.

"How bad is it?" she asked, her voice icy as if frost could come out at any moment.

Andrea was silent for a moment before he answered, {it’s very bad. The kind that gets people to get killed!}

Upon hearing that, Garnet’s eyes flashed, a murderous intent spreading throughout the car as the corner of her mouth raised in a dangerous smirk.

"Then I guess we have much to do. Tell me everything and let’s see how we can deal with these people to make them fully aware that they can mess with anyone else, but not with our mistress!"

As if he had been waiting for that, Andrea responded his tone sly, {and we can prolong their suffering as well.}

Loving how naughty and efficient Andrea was, Garnet burst into laughter as she agreed.

Meanwhile, Diamond had no clue of what those two were planning.

She was sitting in the VIP lounge, holding a magazine. Her eyes lit up as they were fixated on a beautiful model.

In her mind, her thoughts were like, ’How can a person be this pretty?’
