Noah pondered on those words for a few seconds before he nodded at it.

"I will then familiarise myself with the assistant professor’s work in the meantime."(Noah)

Moving towards the bath Noah took a quick bath before changing into another set of robes, this one contrastingly different from before. A gift from Miss Ameliana.

He wore a black robe with golden and silver edges. There was a pattern of the university’s symbol, a staff and a flower called blooming saint. It was a yellow coloured flower that can be found all over the light continent, and was known for its minor healing properties.

Ameliana personally designed it to match her own black outfit she usually wears in the university.

And with that done, Noah then walked a fresh towards the university once again.

Since it was already morning, the teachers and students were starting to bustle as they moved towards their own classes. A few of them looked at Noah with slight curiosity before turning back to their own work.

There was about 20 minutes before classes, and the university was only getting busier as the minutes were passing.

Noah simply walked past the students reaching the east wing of the university.

The location was Miss Ameliana’s Office, the Sub Office at the corner of the east wing.

A few students who knew Elios, looked at him with amazement before bowing to him. They had known him from the previous class he had taken, and seeing him here, they felt slight happiness before they went on their own ways towards their respective classes.

-Knock! Knock!

"Miss Ameliana."(Noah)

"Ah! Elios! You are already here? Come in. Help me with these."(Ameliana)

As Noah entered the room, he saw Miss Ameliana stacking a few books on the table and a few more paperwork on the left.

Was she going to carry it all by herself?

"That suits you!"(Ameliana)

Miss Ameliana’s blue eyes observed Noah’s face and then the robe he was wearing. A smile spread on her face as she continued speaking,

"Since it’s your first day. I will let you do some small menial tasks and let you observe. Also, meet me after the lecture. There are a few surprises for you."(Ameliana)

She moved from left to right, collecting books and papers, one after another befor sorting them all one by one. And only when the pile of papers and books reached about 3 meters in height, she stopped before she wiped her sweat.

"What are you standing there for? Come and pick these up. We need to move towards the class within 10 minutes."(Ameliana)

Elios was right. And Noah followed his words.

Miss Ameliana didn’t seem to mind that.

"Let’s go."(Ameliana)

Following Miss Ameliana behind they walked all the way to the North Wing, and then entered a wide classroom accommodating about 100 students at once.

The murmurs slowly calmed down as Noah first put the first pile of books, following the other piles. And then after that, he simply took a step back before sitting at the table beside the door.

Since it was the first day, his work was to observe.

Perhaps it was only the first year, the students were taught the basics of the basics. Something that Elios had a complete grasp over.

It was something that Elios can recite over in his sleep even.

But that’s because it was Elios...

As for the students, they were having a hard time trying to grasp the concept. The words were unfamiliar to them, and the concepts were fresh, making it hard for them to break it even for them.

Miss Ameliana noticed it but honestly, she didn’t have any other idea than to force them to cram the words and the pronunciation to them. It was something that they had to learn if they wanted to understand the complexity that was going to be thrown at them later.

These were simply alphabets of the magic that one needed to understand if they wanted to succeed in using complex magic, even simple magic for the most time.

Though it was a long time before they could even use any of those spells...

"It seems you guys are still struggling with the basics, huh? But it would be difficult to understand the complex magic if you can’t understand the basics of elemental formulas."(Ameliana)

It wasn’t just Miss Ameliana, but many professors struggled at this point.

Learning the entire rune was something dependent upon the students themselves. The more they can learn and remember, the more they can excel in using magic.

What would cost 100 Mana Points, can be easily decreased to 70 MP or even 50 MP, if you had a good grasp at these fundamentals. And if you have enough talent, you can even get it under the 30 MP requirement.

That was the core of this subject.

To understand the runes and make the use of magic more efficient.

Otherwise, anyone can use fire magic in their daily life to light up common fires.

In fact, the whole point of university was to make the student under magic enough to cast magic faster, better and stronger than before. It even aims to increase their total mana pool along with their ability to use them in various situations of their lives.

And then Miss Ameliana all of a sudden asked Noah, waking him from his stupor, while the entire class looked at him.
