Shocking the Nine Heavens With My Sword
Chapter 249 - 237 - Wild Girl (1/3)

Chapter 249: 237 Chapter Wild Girl (1/3)

Demon Beasts and humans are irreconcilable mortal enemies; the flesh and blood of one are greatly tempting to the other. Both are hunters of each other, so how could they possibly coexist peacefully?

Of course, there are Big Shots who subdue Demon Beasts with tremendous strength to turn them into their mounts or guardians for their sect gates. It is not something that has never been seen. But to subdue a Demon Bear of the Mountains and Rivers Realm requires the cultivation level of the Spirit Sea Realm!

Although the Wild Girl is strong, she only has the cultivation level of the Open Heaven Realm, which is a whole level lower than the Mountains and Rivers Realm — not to mention the Spirit Sea Realm.

If she could ride on a brown bear, it naturally meant that there was a supreme expert behind her who had subdued this mighty Demon Beast to gift it to her as a mount.

But which major family or sect actually retained such wildness and this carefree style of dressing? Although it was pleasing to the eye, it was indeed a bit too scanty; a girl wearing so little might attract unwanted attention and gossip.

Yet the Wild Girl seemed unaware as she looked around with great curiosity. As she got closer, one could even hear her humming a tune, the melody of which was hard to discern but had a captivating charm like a spring gushing from a mountain.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

As the Demon Bear approached, pedestrians on the street hurriedly made way. The average person would fear its huge size, while martial artists, sensing its aura, were absolutely terrified.

This duo of girl and bear soon came closer to Zhou Heng and his companions. Now that they were closer, the Wild Girl’s bright eyes and white teeth showcased her mesmerizing natural beauty. Her little feet close together, she occasionally tapped to the tune she was humming, her toenails slightly blushed pink, the arches of her feet forming pleasing curves.

The Wild Girl also noted Zhou Heng and his companions. Her eyes lit up, and she suddenly leaned forward and plunged into the body of the Demon Bear, murmuring, "I haven’t eaten for two days and two nights. I’m starving. Is there any kind soul to save me?"

While she spoke of a kind soul, her eyes were fixed on Zhou Heng and his companions, her intentions were obvious.

Zhou Heng suddenly felt like he was dealing with a clingy problem: he couldn’t help but think of the Old Swindler and Black Donkey, suddenly his face darkened.

"Such a cute little girl!" Xiao Huoshui beckoned and said, "Sister will take you to the restaurant for some good food!"

"Yes! Yes! Thank you, sister!" The Wild Girl immediately leapt down from the brown bear, but immediately clutched her stomach. A rumbling sound emerged from her belly, and she looked pitifully at Xiao Huoshui, "Sister, hurry, I’m starving to death!"

Zhou Heng’s face darkened further; how could the Wild Girl, with cultivation of the Open Heaven Realm, possibly be starving? Furthermore, in the world of martial artists, cultivation level is paramount. Xiao Huoshui was really being reckless, casually claiming to be her sister. And even more absurd was the Wild Girl, selling herself out for a meal?

He was just confused, but he didn’t really take it to heart. With his absolute strength, he could naturally ignore everything.

The four of them and the bear arrived at the nearby restaurant. Of course, the four people walked in easily, but the bear wanted to follow, which posed some difficulties.

Boom!

The whole restaurant shook violently as the Demon Bear, existing within the Mountains and Rivers Realm and likely more physically powerful than Zhou Heng himself, crashed through the restaurant’s main entrance, creating a huge hole for its grand entry.

"Grey, how could you do this again?" the Wild Girl sharply turned around. "We don’t have any money, how are we going to pay for this? —— Uh, I’m so hungry I don’t even have the energy to scold you!"

The bear, scolded by her, covered its face with a huge paw, appearing embarrassed, which amazed Zhou Heng and his companions. Although Demon Beasts had awakened spiritual wisdom, this was the first time they had encountered one that knew embarrassment!

Indeed, Black Donkey was far more intelligent than this Demon Bear, and more human-like, but with skin thicker than a city wall, he would never know shame.

"Grey, stop dawdling. Don’t you want to eat?" the Wild Girl said again.

"Roar!" The brown bear roared as if in protest. Its huge frame shook dramatically, and it rapidly shrank, transforming into a bear no bigger than a Pug dog.

Xiao Huoshui’s eyes lit up; the little bear was too cute! She hurriedly asked the Wild Girl, "Can I hold it?"

"Of course!" the Wild Girl nodded, but immediately tugged at Xiao Huoshui’s arm, "Sister, I’m starving!"

Xiao Huoshui picked up the little bear, playing with its slender little arms while laughing heartily. Although the seductive woman was alluring, she retained an innocent side, unlike Orchid Concubine, whose soul had been completely corroded by power.

Zhou Heng had to call over the waiter and order dishes.

The restaurant’s staff, initially terrified by the giant brown bear, now courageously came out to serve them, seeing that it had turned into a small, domestically raised bear, posing no threat to them.

Even though the three women were exceedingly beautiful, each with distinct features, the restaurant’s waiters did not dare to glance sideways, still frightened by the Demon Bear — wouldn’t the little bear revert to its larger form and swallow them in one bite?

They sold quite a bit of bear paw in this restaurant; the bear’s ancestors had every reason to be enraged.

Dishes flowed to the table like water, other guests having been scared away, leaving only the four of them and the bear to be catered to in the vast restaurant.

At this moment, the Wild Girl showed her ferocity at the dining table. She saw no need for chopsticks; using her jade hands, unafraid of grease, she grabbed a chicken leg and a pork knuckle and devoured them voraciously.

It was like a storm sweeping through, akin to locusts passing, leaving everything spick and span!

Not just her, the cute bear was not to be outdone. It expanded slightly and sat at the table like a human, frantically grabbing food. It even began competing with the Wild Girl for dishes.

"Grey, I saw this first!"

"Roar!"

"Ah, you snatched my chicken leg again!"

"Roar!"

"Go eat a chicken butt!"

"Roar!"

A man and a bear were fighting over food, and the atmosphere was getting more and more heated. After a staring contest, with wicked intentions, the Cute Bear sneakily extended its paw towards a fish while continuing to stare at the Wild Girl.

Whoosh, its movements quick as lightning, it grabbed a fish and stuffed it into its mouth, biting down hard, juices splashing and aroma filling the air.

"Stinky Grey!" the Wild Girl shouted in fury, swinging a punch that landed on the Cute Bear’s face. With enormous force, the punch actually sent the bear flying, smashing a huge hole in the restaurant’s wall before disappearing into the distance.

"Hahaha!" the Wild Girl laughed loudly, quickly turning back to greedily snatch the dishes on the table.

"Roar!" The sound of the bear’s roar erupted. With a loud bang, the small hole previously made instantly enlarged as a giant brown bear, big as a mountain, charged in, swinging its thick paw at the Wild Girl.

"Aaah!" With a scream, another person-shaped hole appeared in the wall, and the Wild Girl was sent flying.

"Roar, roar, roar!" The big bear used its long tongue to voraciously gobble up the dishes on the table.

"Grey, you’re making me mad!"

Bang!

A third hole appeared in the wall as the Wild Girl leaped back, throwing punches at the brown bear.

The giant bear parried with one paw while the other paw and mouth didn’t stop for a second, continuing to furiously ravage the food on the table, chewing with great enthusiasm.

"Grey, stop eating! Stop eating!" the Wild Girl screamed desperately, but being an entire Great Realm weaker, and facing a Demon Beast known for its brutal strength and tough physique, she simply couldn’t break through.

"Roar, roar, roar!" the brown bear ate even more joyously.

The man and bear fought fiercely, leaving Zhou Heng and his two companions dumbfounded!

Really now!

These were Heaven-Opening Realm experts and Mountains and Rivers Realm Demon Beasts, who could become honored guests in any Martial Path family looking for food. Yet here they were, fighting fiercely over a meal, which was simply unbelievable.

Moreover, this wasn’t an act put on to amuse anyone; that anger and food-snatching were absolutely natural, evidently showing that the man and bear were used to such disputes.

Where on earth did they come from?

"This girl’s physique is incredibly tough, almost comparable to yours!" Xiao Huoshui exclaimed in shock, being from a top family in Cold Blue Country, she had an exceptional eye for capabilities despite her lower cultivation level.

Zhou Heng nodded; his strength and physical robustness weren’t even on par with this wild girl before he received the Essence Blood from the Gold Devouring Clan!

"What? This skinny guy can compare to her?"

After the big grey bear had vacuumed the remaining dishes on the table into its mouth, the beauty and the beast’s battle came to a halt. Hearing Xiao Huoshui’s praise, the Wild Girl felt unsatisfied, suddenly jumping in front of Zhou Heng, sizing him up and down, even sniffing him with her nose.

"A guy a wind could blow over!" the Wild Girl expressed scorn, then raised her arms, flexing powerfully and boasting, "Why don’t we compare then?"

"Roar, roar, roar!" the brown bear also excitedly shouted on the side.

Zhou Heng, of course, wasn’t going to quibble with a Wild Girl. He smiled and said, "No need to compare!"

"What’s your name?" Xiao Huoshui interjected, the Wild Girl oozing mystery all over.

"I’m just a wild child, unwanted and unloved, abandoned in the mountains since I was little!" the Wild Girl pouted with her red lips, adopting a pitiful look that triggered a surge of tender maternal feelings in Xiao Huoshui, who pulled her into her embrace.

From inside Xiao Huoshui’s embrace, the Wild Girl peeked out her face, made a funny face at him, and then said, "I named myself Feng Lianqing. Sister, does it sound nice?"

"Beautiful!" Xiao Huoshui quickly replied.

"Roar, roar, roar!" the brown bear also transformed into the form of a small bear, similarly wiggling its way into Xiao Huoshui’s embrace and making a cute gesture with its little paws.

Slap!

Feng Lianqing slapped the Little Cute Bear away, monopolizing Xiao Huoshui’s embrace.

Zhou Heng’s face darkened even more. Indeed, it seemed he had encountered a sticky plaster he couldn’t shake off.

Ordering two more big tables of food, Feng Lianqing and the Demon Bear each claimed a table, preventing them from fighting again. They ate from afternoon till midnight, clearing out all the restaurant’s food, and finally, the gluttonous feast came to an end.

"Sigh, even though it wasn’t completely satisfying, I’m at least thirty percent full!" Feng Lianqing touched her still flat stomach, uttering a phrase that almost made Zhou Heng and his companions fall over.
