Chapter 141: Chapter 136: Liu Yue’s Revenge (2/3)
Chapter 136: Liu Yue’s Retaliation
Han Tao and others had already returned a few days ago, bringing with them the "news of death" of Zhou Heng, who was said to have been surrounded by numerous experts from the Fang Family during the retreat. Although they did not explicitly mention life or death, the implication was that his chances were slim.
However, Zhou Heng’s high-profile return to the Imperial Capital immediately shattered that rumor, forcing people to marvel at his strength; even when "besieged," he had managed to carve out a path to survival.
Zhou Heng sat withered in the courtyard. As an Expert of the Initial Separation Realm, the inn where he stayed dare not neglect him, preparing a secluded mansion for him, and without his orders, no one dared to disturb him.
He first speculated about who would come to find him first, and then, having nothing better to do, pondered how to fuse the three types of Bloodline Power into the Five Elements Lotus Break.
The Five Elements Lotus Break already encompassed the Power of the Five Elements, representing metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, and the Purple Flame naturally belonged to fire, the Dragon’s Power to water, and Metallic Transformation to metal. Originally, these forces should not have been able to join the Five Elements Lotus Break as independent powers. Yet, the Bloodline Power had its own strengths, which could stand in opposition to the natural Power of the Five Elements.
This presented the possibility of creating an Eight-Colored Lotus!
By this time, Zhou Heng’s mastery and understanding of this Martial Arts Technique had far exceeded its original scope. If he could truly execute the Eight-Colored Lotus, its might would undoubtedly break through to that of a Heaven Level Martial Arts Technique, and at least of a mid-tier standard at that!
The key to the Five Elements Lotus Break was balance, whether it was the simplest Black and White Lotus or the Eight-Colored Lotus he aimed to realize!
Maintaining a delicate balance between absolute repulsion, once unleashed, the power would be boundless.
The Five Elements constituted a grand balance, and the Purple Flame and Dragon’s Power were mutually exclusive as water and fire. However, as they were both his own Bloodline Power, they had an inexplicable way of coexistence. The power of Metal, though relatively neutral, could exist in the form of the flower’s stem.
Zhou Heng’s hands formed seals, constantly revolving, and an Eight-Colored Lotus quickly took shape before him but immediately collapsed.
The balance of the Five Elements was achieved, and even the Purple Flame and Dragon’s Power were in equilibrium. However, the grand balance between these two, compounded by the introduction of the new Metal power, was disrupted upon the slightest contact.
Undeterred, Zhou Heng continued his attempts. Despite being blown back and wounded time and again, the Dragon’s Power would sweep over him, restoring him instantly!
This was the Bloodline Power of a Heavenly Spirit Body, and coupled with the Water Attribute’s natural inclination towards healing, it naturally had a stronger restorative effect than both the Purple Flame and the Metal Incarnation.
The Purple Flame and Metallic Transformation directly altered the body into flame or metal; repairing injuries and then transforming back to a corporeal form consumed vast amounts of Spiritual Power. However, the Dragon’s Power was different; its essence contained healing effects, thus reducing Zhou Heng’s consumption of Spiritual Power significantly.
Bang!
While Zhou Heng was deeply engrossed in his research, a loud thud interrupted him; the courtyard gate had been violently kicked open. A man in his thirties entered, lean in build, wearing light yellow brocade clothes and exuding a strong presence.
Land Cleaving Realm!
"Follow me!" The man did not bother with introductions but directly ordered Zhou Heng.
Zhou Heng responded with a cold smile, "Why should I?"
Why should he?
Because he was an Expert of the Land Cleaving Realm. In his eyes, Zhou Heng was but an ant; his word was law, and Zhou Heng had no right to refuse!
"So you insist on forcing my hand?" The Expert of the Land Cleaving Realm said coldly, his gaze filled with a murderous intent.
"Old fellow, you might not be up to it!" Zhou Heng scoffed.
An Expert of the Land Cleaving Realm possessed a lifespan of around seven hundred years. This man appeared to be only in his thirties, but in reality, he was at least two hundred years old, and possibly even three or four hundred! After all, one could tell at a glance that he was an errand runner; no genius who entered the Land Cleaving Realm after only a hundred years would act like a dog and obey others’ orders.
"You really are audacious, junior!" The Expert of the Land Cleaving Realm clenched his fist, seemingly ready to strike.
"Really want to take action? Think carefully; I have someone from the Open Heaven Realm backing me up!" Zhou Heng chuckled. He never liked to borrow someone else’s authority, but it wasn’t bad for bluffing.
The man hesitated. Zhou Heng’s Cultivation Level did not concern him, but An Luochen, standing behind Zhou Heng, was not someone he could simply ignore! The Open Heaven Realm—there were only four in the entire Cold Blue Country until recently... now five!
Each was a figure who could shake the world with a simple stomp of the foot; how could his meager body at the First Layer Heaven of the Land Cleaving Realm possibly provoke them?
Zhou Heng shook his head and said, "Alright, I’ll go with you! See, I’m easy to talk to, and I never make things difficult for others."
The man was nearly driven to fury. If you were going to comply easily, why make all those comments before, if not to provoke him? However, since Zhou Heng had agreed to go with him and he had to be wary of An Luochen, there was no way he dared to do anything to Zhou Heng.
He clenched his fist, snorted angrily, and turned to leave.
Zhou Heng followed leisurely behind him; the two walked through the streets and alleys, not in a hurry, and after about ten minutes they arrived at a large mansion. After passing through corridors and pavilions over water, they entered a secluded mansion.
"Young Master, I have brought the man!" The Expert of the Land Cleaving Realm stopped at the entrance, announcing respectfully.
"Let him in quickly!" a male voice commanded from within.
"Go on in!" the Land Cleaving Realm man pushed open the courtyard gate, speaking coldly to Zhou Heng.
Zhou Heng smirked and strode in, only to see a riot of blooming flowers and the shadows of trees cast askew. In the center of the courtyard was a circular stone table, around which stood three chairs. On one of them sat a young man, sipping his drink, while at his feet knelt a completely naked woman. Her long hair cascaded down such that her face was hidden, but her ample buttocks were round and highly arched.
Because of the angle, Zhou Heng couldn’t get a clear view, yet it stirred the impulse to get closer for a better look.
There were others in the courtyard too—men standing along the wall, each of them eyeing the woman’s breasts and rear with greedy glances, clearly itching to rush forward and grab a handful or even take their pleasure vigorously.
"Zhou Heng, having regrets now?" the youth yelled at Zhou Heng. "The woman you fancied has already been played with by me several times. She’s got skills in bed, she squeezes me dry every time, haha!"
"And you are?" Zhou Heng expressed perplexity.
"You—" The young man flew into a rage, abruptly stood up, and kicked over the stone table in front of him. "I am Liu Yue! Liu Yue! You bastard, you enjoyed beating me up back then, didn’t you? Well, I sure enjoyed screwing your woman!"
"I was so disappointed to hear you’d been killed, but thankfully, you’re alive, Zhou Heng. Now, I can torment you myself!"
"You slut, why are you still keeping your head down? Let that bastard get a good look at your face!"
The last sentence from Liu Yue was directed at the kneeling naked woman on the ground.
The woman trembled as she lifted her head, her black hair parting to reveal a beautiful visage—it was Shi Yuluo.
"Whore, crawl around for two laps, let him appreciate just how low you are!" With a kick to Shi Yuluo’s rear, Liu Yue sent her sprawling to the ground.
However, Shi Yuluo dared not show anger and began to crawl on all fours.
Two streams of tears fell down her cheeks. If only she had another chance to choose, she would never have submitted to Liu Yue! Overawed by the Heaven-Opening Realm experts and the power of the Heavenly Star Sect, she had easily been bedded by Liu Yue upon returning to the Imperial Capital.
To her, the situation wasn’t entirely unacceptable. In this world, women were in an absolute position of weakness, especially beauties. Unless a woman had a powerful father or the protection of a strong man, she was vulnerable to the coveting of various men—some she could evade, others she couldn’t.
Before this, she had been with men, it was all the same. Once she resigned to the fact, it wasn’t such a loss. If men could enjoy it, why not women? If only Liu Yue had chosen a gentler strategy instead of brutishly barging in to force himself on her that night after returning from Thousand Spirit City, she would’ve willingly complied long ago.
But Liu Yue was a complete deviant!
He didn’t only enjoy toying with beauties; he was even keener on tormenting them. These past few days had been hellish for her. Just like now, being paraded naked in broad daylight, how could she ever face anyone again?
But she had already set upon this path, with no way to turn back! Suicide? She didn’t have the courage; a miserable life was better than a good death.
Zhou Heng took a moment to appreciate the view, having to admit that a beautiful woman’s body was truly a fine sight, endlessly alluring. He soon retracted his gaze and said impatiently, "Idiot, this is your vengeance?"
"Don’t call me an idiot again!" Liu Yue shouted loudly.
"You are an idiot, what else should I call you?" Zhou Heng spread his hands. "My time is precious. If you’ve called me here, it had better be for something important. Otherwise, you might want to start worrying about your head again!"
Liu Yue involuntarily shrank his neck, revealing a look of lingering fear.
"Boy, you certainly have a death wish!" A hollow and ethereal voice rang out, and suddenly, a man appeared in the courtyard, his hair white as snow and his presence barely discernible.
Zhou Heng’s pupils contracted. This elder was not weak, but rather overwhelmingly powerful, so much so that Zhou Heng was unable to gauge his realm.
Heaven-Opening Realm!
"Father—" Liu Yue’s face immediately lit up with glee.
"Hmph!" The white-haired elder cast an annoyed look at Shi Yuluo, waving his hand and sending a burst of Vigorous Qi through the air towards her. With a slap, a red mark instantly appeared on Shi Yuluo’s face. "Slut, seducing my son, distracting him from his cultivation, you truly deserve death!"
Zhou Heng was taken aback by the scene. No wonder Liu Yue was unreasonably arrogant—it was a behavior spoiled by his father’s irrational indulgence!
It was Liu Yue who was lecherous, yet they could twist the blame onto someone else. What a perfect pair of father and son!
Shi Yuluo didn’t dare defend herself and merely lowered her head, tears falling.
"Zhou Heng, you dared to harm my beloved son. It seems I must condescend to bully the young, to teach you a lesson on behalf of An Luochen!" The white-haired elder, Liu Qingxuan, regarded Zhou Heng solemnly, his tone reflecting that of Nangong Changkong before he took action.
