Zane checked the social media trending, and it was all about him and Madeline.

Those crazy fangirls were doing their job, protesting and creating havoc, just like he expected.

Unfortunately, the police dispersed them, most likely because Lance paid them to do so.

Zane was satisfied with the progress of his relationship with Madeline.

Of course, he knew Madeline was uncomfortable with his aggressive approach.

"But why should I compromise and act like a good boy when she fell for a bastard who has done nothing good to her?" Zane commented, knowing that Lance had done ten times worse than he did. "That bastard got the privilege of being an asshole and still got her love. That’s just bullshit."

Zane wanted to call Madeline, but he knew he would only meet with disappointment since Madeline didn’t recognize him as her real boyfriend, so she wouldn’t answer his call.

’Should I just come to her house?’ Zane wondered. He already knew where Madeline’s family lived years ago.

He contemplated many times whether he should come uninvited, but Madeline didn’t seem to remember him as the boy from that musical drama when they were ten.

On top of that, he was also just a rising star. If he got caught coming to Madeline Rose’s house, his fans back then would boycott all of his work.

’But it should be fine now, right?’ Zane thought. ’I am her boyfriend now. I can come to her place anytime I want without any repercussions.’

’I’m a big star now. I can do whatever I want, and those fans would still be loyal to me,’ Zane said as he tried to justify coming to Madeline’s house.

Thus, Zane began considering the right time to make a surprise visit to Madeline’s house.

He got all the shooting schedules from Julia and realized that Madeline was so good at her job that she didn’t need a second take.

She cleared every scene within the first take and made no mistakes.

On top of that, Director Wang, who was notorious for being a perfectionist, didn’t have a single complaint about Madeline.

"Well, she has always been the best at her job," Zane murmured. "She just had a temporary setback after her scandal with that cheating scum, Jonathan Hale."

Zane’s eyes darkened, and that smile on his lips vanished the moment he mentioned that name.

After his scandal with Madeline, Jonathan Hale had been living his best life with his wife and child. He washed away the cheating scandal that stained his name by acting sweet and apologetic towards his wife to compensate for his one small mistake with Madeline Rose.

Though Zane wasn’t as influential as Lancelot Grant and his Grant family, Zane had a lot of connections within the top entertainment circle.

He could help Madeline ruin Jonathan’s life directly.

All she needed to do was ask him.

"And accept me as your boyfriend, Maddy," Zane murmured while watching the video of them kissing.

He licked his lips. The sweetness on Madeline’s lips had still lingered, and now he was addicted to it.

Zane Eastwood, who had been chaste for his whole life, finally tasted the sweetness of his first love.

"And I will never let go," Zane stated.

Thus, he began checking Madeline’s schedule for the next day and prepared to visit his girlfriend’s house for a surprise visit.

"I’ve packed all the small stuff in this box, Maddy, and I think that’s all," Nathan said as he taped the box full of the family stuff.

"That’s good. We can always come back and take a few more things if necessary. We’re not abandoning this house after all," Madeline assured.

She saw that Nathan was ready to go to school, and she was also ready to go to the production set.

"Then I’ll drive you to your school."

"I can use my bike."

"No, you’re going straight to the new home after you finish school," Madeline insisted. "Besides, I’ve told Lance to replace the car so you don’t feel out of place."

"Ah, so that’s why..." Nathan saw the SUV parked in front of their house. But that wasn’t the SUV that people often used.

It looked a bit too stylish, especially with that Audi logo at the front and the obviously modified parts that looked more like a president’s car than a normal SUV.

"That car will still be a bit too obvious in my school. So, why don’t you just give me money so I can order an Uber from home?" Nathan asked.

"Are you sure? I’d be more than willing to drive you to school," Madeline asked.

She just wanted everyone to know not to mess around with her little brother by making her presence known.

After all, she knew that Nathan must’ve been under many questions and pressure from his classmates.

"Just give me the money, sis. I’ll be late to school if we’re arguing about this," Nathan said.

Madeline sighed and gave Nathan a fifty-dollar bill. "I’ll leave now. You don’t need to lock the door. I’ve been informed the movers are on their way."

"Should I just stay at home and watch over them?"

"Oh, no need to do that. Lance already told me those movers are his people," Madeline said as she grabbed her tote bag.

Nathan watched as his sister walked out of the house and entered the backseat of the new, modified SUV that looked too shiny for Nathan’s taste.

He watched her leave and shrugged. "Maddy and I are just too different, I guess."

Nathan ordered an Uber while finishing his breakfast.

He kept the door shut while waiting for his Uber, but then heard a knock on the door.

’Are those the movers? Or is Maddy returning for something?’ Nathan wondered.

He drank a glass of water before walking towards the front door and opening it without suspicion.

But what he saw wasn’t Madeline, and this man was a bit too good-looking to be working as a mover.

Zane smiled at Nathan, whom he already knew was Madeline’s little brother.

"Good morning, Nathan. I’m here to pick up your sister."
