Chapter 250: Chapter 250: The Neighbor Offers Warmth
"Goddess~ long time no see~"
Lin Rui greeted her with a beaming smile, Su Wanxin looked at him coldly, knowing it must have been Fu Shihan who sent him.
"Do you see any words written on my face?"
Su Wanxin asked him lightly as she met his gaze. Lin Rui looked at her seriously for a few seconds and replied: "Get lost."
"Good knowing that." Su Wanxin tossed her head. "Go away."
"Come on, Brother Han asked me to come."
"Tell him to get lost with you."
"He’s already gone. Brother Han said, he moved out, and you shouldn’t leave."
Lin Rui chuckled lightly, reaching out to take the suitcase from Su Wanxin’s hand. Seeing her dodge, he persuaded her.
"He really left, I just helped him move his things. Go back and see for yourself, if I’m lying to you, then it’s not too late for you to leave tomorrow, right?"
Su Wanxin’s brows furrowed slightly, half-believing and half-doubting his words.
"If I’m lying, I’m a dog!" Lin Rui snatched the suitcase away, "Let’s go~ back home!"
Su Wanxin followed behind him with slow steps, wondering why Fu Shihan was being so agreeable this time.
When she got home, the house was quiet and peaceful. Lin Rui greeted her and then left, closing the door behind him. Su Wanxin went upstairs to check.
Indeed, Fu Shihan’s clothes had been taken away, leaving only two sets of pajamas here. And not just him, but Jing Jingwen and Chu Pei had also left.
"Wanwan."
Mu Suyu came following the voice, looking puzzled.
She went to bed late last night and got up late today, so she had no idea about the earth-shattering event that had happened in the morning.
She only knew that Su Wanxin hadn’t eaten dinner last night, nor had Fu Shihan, so they probably had a fight and were angry with each other.
"Did you drive Mr. Fu away?" She rubbed her belly innocently. "Could you just send him away and keep the housekeeper and the chef?"
Whether Fu Shihan left or not, it didn’t really matter.
But if there was no one to cook, that was a problem.
Having been used to Chu Pei’s cooking, all the fancy takeouts outside just couldn’t compare.
"I’ll cook for you tonight?" Su Wanxin leaned against the wall, also feeling a bit of a headache.
"...Never mind, I’ll just order takeout."
Mu Suyu had eaten the food cooked by Su Wanxin once, and how to put it, it was hard to describe.
Seeing the disdain in her expression, Su Wanxin pursed her lips, unable to retort.
Indeed, she couldn’t cook, and the two dishes she knew how to make were not as delicious as those made by Fu Shihan.
"Xiao Yu, go downstairs and change the door lock code to your birthday."
"Okay!"
Mu Suyu went downstairs to do as instructed, Su Wanxin put her clothes back in place, sat on the bed in a daze for a while, then went downstairs to find Mu Suyu.
The two sat on the couch playing with their phones, checking out nearby restaurants. They hadn’t decided what to eat for dinner when they heard someone knocking on the door.
"Mama! Open the door!"
Yangyang’s voice came faintly from outside.
Su Wanxin: ...
She paused for a second and quickly got up to go to the door, slightly frowning, suspecting whether Fu Shihan was planning some trick.
If he dared to use Yangyang as an excuse to stay here tonight, she would hammer his head directly.
The door opened, and sure enough, there were two figures, one big and one small.
Su Wanxin looked at them with complex eyes, and at the food they were holding...
"Mama! I brought you food!"
Yangyang looked up at her, his little face full of pleasing smiles.
Su Wanxin bent down quickly to take the dish from his hands, turned around and handed it to Mu Suyu, who came over, then looked at Fu Shihan and asked—
"What’s the meaning of this?"
"Neighborly warmth."
Su Wanxin: ???
