"Um." Wanxin hesitated, then finally nodded. "After sending the email, let’s go eat; I’m a bit hungry."

Mu Xinghan’s lips curved slightly, quickly setting the email to automatically send at 10:30 tomorrow morning. Then the three of them got out of the car and headed straight to the restaurant.

"That’s about enough." Mu Xinghan tapped her head with the menu. "Keep playing with that broken phone and I’ll throw it into the pot."

They were here to eat hotpot, a super popular place; you definitely couldn’t get a seat without a reservation.

"You guys go ahead and order; I’m fine with anything." Wanxin pushed the menu away, not taking his words seriously. "Xing Han, why didn’t you invite Xiao Yu? You siblings haven’t seen each other in a long time, she told me yesterday she missed you."

Mu Xinghan scoffed, clearly not believing her. "That brat tries to avoid me, missing me? Yeah right."

"I’m not lying, call her if you don’t believe it." Wanxin finally finished her work, tossed her phone into her bag and looked at Mu Xinghan seriously. "How long are you planning to stay this time?"

"I don’t know, I’m not planning to take any jobs recently, want to rest for a bit."

While speaking, Mu Xinghan’s gaze shifted beyond Wanxin towards the direction of the stairs. Then he paused and asked her.

"Your friend?"

Wanxin turned her head to look and saw Lu Ci and another person walking downstairs. She quickly turned her head pretending not to see or recognize them, but unfortunately, they still noticed her.

"Wanwan?" Lu Ci was a bit surprised to see her here. He discreetly glanced at the two men beside her and then said with a smile, "Why come all the way here for a meal?"

Wanxin waved to him and watched him leave, relieved.

This restaurant was owned by a friend of Lu Ci. He went to the front desk, greeted the waiter, and had Wanxin’s table’s order charged to his account, then left the restaurant with Chu Yang, deep in thought.

"Those two men, seen them before?" Chu Yang looked back at the restaurant and asked.

"One of them, I’ve seen."

When Wanxin was previously hospitalized and Lu Ci visited, he knew Zhan Che was a doctor. But he didn’t know who the other man was, and Lu Ci felt that man’s gaze was a bit unfriendly.
