At the moment when they were about to act, a tense shout suddenly rang out on the public communication channel.

"Don’t shoot, are you from the Federation?"

"Kaff, wait!"

Su Ming immediately shouted to halt Kaff.

"Okay!"

Upon hearing Su Ming’s words, Kaff aborted the attack.

Su Ming gazed at the five outdated Beast Teeth mechas and spoke gravely on the public communication channel.

"Who are you? State your identities!"

"We are not Imperial Army, we are from the Holy GM Army, my name is Bair!"

"Holy Army?"

"Yes, the organization that aspires to overthrow the Dark Star Empire. Please, are you from the Federation?"

Bair asked with a face full of anticipation as he looked at Su Ming and Kaff.

"Correct, we are from the Federation."

Su Ming replied with a deep voice.

"Thank goodness! They really are from the Federation."

"They really are from the Federation; their mechas look so powerful!"

Upon hearing Su Ming’s words, Bair and the others spoke excitedly.

Su Min and Kaff looked at each other somewhat perplexedly, not knowing quite what to say.

At that moment, Bair asked excitedly,

"Esteemed Federation officials, may I ask your names?"

"My name is Su Ming, and his name is Kaff."

Su Ming introduced himself simply.

"Sir Su Ming, how did you end up in the Dark Forest?"

Bair asked curiously.

"We have just destroyed the Heart of Sky Base, and then were pursued by the Imperial Army into the Dark Forest."

Su Ming explained briefly.

"What? You’ve destroyed the nearby Heart of Sky Base?"

Bair and the others were stunned.

"What’s wrong? Is there a problem?"

Su Ming narrowed his eyes and asked. Though these people claimed to be from the Holy Army, he hadn’t fully believed them yet.

Should he discover any issues, he was ready to act immediately and eliminate them.

"No, Sir Su Ming, you are too impressive; you are our idols! That Heart of Sky Base was heavily guarded! Ordinary people couldn’t even get close, and you destroyed it!"

Bair and the others spoke with great admiration.

"It was passable."

Su Ming replied calmly.

From the current reaction of these people, it seemed they truly might be from the Holy Army.

"Sir Su Ming, I see you circling around; are you lost? If there’s anything we can help you with, just ask."

Bair offered enthusiastically.

Su Ming and Kaff exchanged glances, and finally Su Ming spoke.

"We do indeed need help. We have been pursued by the Imperial Army, and in our hasty escape into the Dark Forest Star Sea, our fuel and supplies are almost depleted!"

"That so? If you don’t mind, you could come to our base."

Bair invited outright.

"Your base?"

"Yes, we have a refuge base within the Dark Star Sea, not too far from here."

"Alright, then we’ll go call our people!"

Su Ming’s eyes shimmered with decision before he agreed.

"No problem, we will join you!"

Bair replied with great excitement.

"Let’s go!"

Su Ming and Kaff then led them towards their troops.

Along the way, Kaff switched the communication channel to an encrypted one and spoke to Su Ming.

"Isn’t this a bit risky?"

"We have no choice; we urgently need supplies. Once our people run out of fuel, the life support systems will fail, and then they will die!"

"I understand!"

"Of course, this doesn’t mean we trust them. Once we get to their base, Kaff, you lead everyone to stay in their mechas. If anything seems off, take them down."

Su Ming instructed Kaff.

"Understood!"
