Chapter 308: Chapter 305: The Eve of the Great War (Five in One)_4

The man in the gray coat immediately charged toward Ankaga with overwhelming aggression.

Su Ming saw that the situation was dire and suddenly kicked a metal trash can beside him.

The entire trash can flew toward the man.

But the gray-clothed man turned and punched, caving the trash can in with a direct hit.

Su Ming frowned upon seeing this.

Ankaga immediately said to Su Ming,

"Squad leader, be careful, this guy is a Genetically Modified Person, with freakishly strong strength!"

"I got it, just assist me in the attack."

Su Ming rushed toward him with incredible speed, his right hand clenched into a fist, hammering down on the opponent with force.

The eyes of the man in gray flashed a ruthless shade, and instead of dodging, he chose to take the hit head on, throwing a fierce punch toward Su Ming.

Bang!

Their fists collided with each other, forcing both to involuntarily take a step back.

At that moment, Ankaga seized the opportunity to rush forward, leaping up and landing a flying kick on the man’s back.

The man stumbled forward, furious and about to turn around.

Su Ming charged again, swinging his fists ferociously, punch after punch aimed at him.

The man could only raise his hands in a continuous attempt to block.

He had wanted to find an opportunity to counterattack, but Su Ming’s attack grew more fierce, keeping him from raising his head.

Then Ankaga, from behind, kicked the man’s left knee joint.

The man felt a jolt of pain and nearly went down on one knee.

But he stubbornly remained standing.

Ankaga didn’t stop, delivering another brutal kick to the same joint.

The gray-clothed man instantly fell to one knee, and Su Ming took the opportunity to swing his fist and smash it into his face, spurting blood from his nose.

The man in gray was thoroughly disoriented by Su Ming’s punches.

Then Su Ming delivered a fierce kick toward his head.

Sensing extreme danger, the gray-clothed man, enduring the pain and dizziness, quickly grabbed Su Ming’s left leg.

Su Ming, upon seeing this, stomped hard with his right foot and flung his body at the opponent, wrapping his arms around the man’s head and smashing his bent knee into his face.

The impact dealt a heavy blow to the gray-clothed man, and blood flowed out.

Su Ming then released his grip, and the gray-clothed man fell to the ground with a thud.

"Damn, squad leader, you hit him so hard, you didn’t kill him, did you?"

Ankaga asked, somewhat nervously.

"He won’t die, this guy has a tough build. Now tell me! Who are you? Why are you tracking Mia?"

Su Ming demanded coldly.

"Hmph!"

The man in front of him stood firm, refusing to say a word throughout.

"Squad leader, what do we do if he doesn’t talk?"

Ankaga asked with a headache.

"So you won’t talk,"

Su Ming wound up his fist, ready to beat him senseless.

Just then, a languid voice rang out.

"That’s enough, stop hitting him. He’s got a military rank. Aren’t you afraid of spending a few years in jail for beating him like this?"

Su Ming and Ankaga immediately looked, with great interest, toward Mia, who had suddenly appeared.

"What? He’s a military officer?"

"Yeah, Lieutenant Colonel Alako."

Mia, leaning against the alley wall, said with a chuckle.

"Cough, that’s not our problem. We just saw him skulking around after you and stepped in. Besides, he attacked us first and didn’t identify himself."

Su Ming decisively shifted the blame far away.

At that moment, Lieutenant Colonel Alako stood up with a limp, wiped the blood from his face, and greeted Mia.

"Lady Mia."

"Ah, for someone as weak as you, who can’t even win against my students, it’s embarrassing."

Mia sighed.

"Lady Mia, hear me out."

Lieutenant Colonel Alako was about to speak but was cut off as Mia raised her hand to stop him.

"Don’t bother, I’m not going back. You go back and tell those old geezers to give up hope."

Mia said bluntly.

Having heard this, Lieutenant Colonel Alako fell silent for a while before finally speaking.

"Then, I shall take my leave. I’ll convey the message as it is."

"Go ahead."

Mia waved her hand impatiently.

Lieutenant Colonel Alako then left, limping away.

Soon, only Su Ming, Ankaga, and Mia remained in the alley.

"Teacher, was that lieutenant colonel here to ask you to go back? Where to? You’re not someone who ran away from some major family, are you?"

Ankaga asked curiously.

Mia walked over, rapped Ankaga on the head, and said annoyedly,

"You’ve been watching too many soap operas, haven’t you? Don’t ask about things you’re not supposed to. Speaking of which, what brought you two here?"

"We came to consign goods, but what about you, Teacher Mia? What are you doing here?"

Su Ming asked with curiosity.

"I came here to consign goods, too."

Mia replied with a smile.

"I see, no wonder we ran into you here in the vast Starlight City. I should’ve known, Teacher Mia, you probably came to deal with the stuff in Hai Lan’s package. I wonder how much money you’ll get out of it."

"None of that matters now. Since we’ve met, you two are taking me out for a drink!"

Mia stretched her arms over the shoulders of Su Ming and Ankaga, sporting an evil grin.

"Ah? Teacher, can you pick somewhere cheaper? The bars here are so expensive."

Ankaga whined with a downcast face.

Su Ming’s mouth twitched. This was a real setup; they’d been conscripted.

"Don’t worry, we’re not drinking here. I know a bar with a good cost-performance ratio."

Mia cheerfully pulled the two of them along.

"Teacher, please let go, we won’t run away."

Su Ming said helplessly.

"Fine, I trust you wouldn’t dare to stand me up!"

Mia then let go of their shoulders.
