Chapter 833: Memory Restoration_5
Jordy Wade didn’t stop Celia Wade; these were the words he indeed didn’t plan for Celia to hear. It was his intention, and now he needed the help of Marcus Parker and Ellie Wilton.
Seeing Jordy Wade not preventing Celia’s departure, Marcus Parker and Ellie Wilton naturally remained silent as well. The two told Celia to be careful on her way and watched as she picked up her bag and left.
"Come back soon," Jordy Wade said after Celia opened the door.
"Yeah, I know," Celia turned back and nodded with a smile.
Once Celia left, Jordy Wade turned to look at Marcus Parker and Ellie Wilton. Ellie was very nervous, not daring to meet his gaze squarely. Marcus, likewise, appeared calm on the surface, but his heart was beating with intense nervousness.
"Dad, Mom," Jordy Wade began, immediately causing both of their faces to tighten, and then their features rapidly quivered. While Marcus managed to hold it together, Ellie burst into tears.
At that moment, Jordy Wade was also deeply moved, thinking that the "Dad, Mom" he had just uttered was more for Celia’s sake. So, he could no longer persist in maintaining the identity of Jordy Wade; he had to return to his original identity.
Of course, this was what Marcus Parker and Ellie Wilton wished to see. He was their son, and they naturally hoped he would revert to his original name. However, if he was unwilling, they certainly wouldn’t force him.
"Chenchen, Mommy is sorry," Ellie Wilton walked over, wanting to embrace Jordy Wade. Thinking that he had just undergone surgery, she refrained from touching his head and instead tightly grasped his hands.
"It was just a misunderstanding, wasn’t it? No one is at fault. You’ve devoted your life, and now at last, you have achieved the happiness you wanted. I am happy for you as well," Jordy Wade said, calmly consoling the emotional Ellie Wilton.
"Chenchen, Chenchen..." Apart from repeatedly calling his childhood name, Ellie Wilton didn’t know how else to express her emotions of excitement and gratitude at that moment.
Marcus Parker, standing on the side, was even more agitated. He hadn’t even uttered a word of repentance, and Jordy Wade had already called him Dad. This man was responsible and courageous, truly worthy of being his and Ellie Wilton’s son.
In the past, before knowing his identity, Marcus appreciated this man deeply. It seemed that the connection of blood was truly a wondrous thing.
Back then, he had stubbornly presented a profitable business proposal to Jordy Wade, who had coldly rejected it. Marcus took no offense but instead grew more curious about what this man truly desired.
For businessmen aim to make money, and he had offered such a profitable venture. Yet, this man resisted the temptation and declined due to his disapproval.
Of course, Marcus now understood that his initial dislike was because of Ellie Wilton, his mother.
This was a man of deep emotional bonds; otherwise, Celia and the Saunders Family’s daughter wouldn’t be so devotedly in love with him.
"Well, Mom, we don’t have much time. Celia will be back soon, so I’ll cut to the chase," Jordy Wade couldn’t afford the luxury of the two elders’ emotional outburst. He knew he should properly soothe them, but he had to quickly convey his intentions. Therefore, he didn’t want to waste time on emotional fluctuations.
"Alright, you speak, we’re listening," Ellie Wilton wiped away her tears and looked at her son earnestly, her expression serious.
"I love Celia, so once I’m recovered, I will marry her. However, it won’t be as Jordy Wade. I want to marry her under my original identity. Of course, I have a father now. If you both could attend our wedding, I think both Celia and I would be very happy. Please forgive your son’s disrespect; this isn’t something I’m discussing with you, it’s me informing you. Whether you agree or not..."
"Of course we agree. Celia is such a fine girl. It would be our honor to have her as our daughter-in-law. How could we possibly disagree?" Jordy Wade hadn’t finished speaking when Marcus Parker stepped forward to express his opinion, which also reflected Ellie Wilton’s.
"Yes, Celia is such a good daughter-in-law. I have decided," Ellie Wilton also nodded affirmatively.
This time, Jordy Wade was moved to tears. All along, his love for Celia had never been acknowledged by his adoptive parents, who opposed their relationship even though they knew he and Celia were not biological siblings. Yet, his biological parents agreed without a second thought, not just consenting, but wholeheartedly endorsing their union.
