Celia Wade was very touched. If Jordy Wade could say such words to her after recovering his memory, then she believed it was his confession of love to her.

What she feared was that once Jordy Wade regained his memory, he would no longer be so gentle with her and would start avoiding her like before. She thought she would be in tremendous pain.

Three days later was Jordy Wade’s surgery, and Celia Wade signed her name on the surgery consent form.

Marcus Parker nodded, glanced at Celia Wade beside him, and knowing that she wouldn’t leave until Jordy Wade came out, he took Ellie Wilton and left first.

Celia Wade waited at the door until Jordy Wade was brought out, then followed him to the general ward instead of the Intensive Care Ward, showing how confident Hendrix was in the outcome of the operation.

After Jordy Wade was moved to the ward, Celia Wade sat by the bed, gazing at him. Seeing this, the nurse had no choice but to pass on the post-surgery care instructions to Marcus Parker and Ellie Wilton.

They listened very carefully and memorized each point.

Due to the anesthesia and the long duration of the surgery, Jordy Wade was very exhausted, so his sleep was quite prolonged, and it would take several hours for him to wake up.

Ellie Wilton came over and handed the warm meal she had asked someone to reheat to Celia Wade. "Celia, eat something while it’s still warm. You can’t starve yourself. "...Auntie, don’t say that. This is what I should do." Celia said, doing anything for Jordy was something she was more than willing to do. She just didn’t know what she would have to face when Jordy woke up.

It was mainly the uncertainty of what Jordy would choose that worried her. She wasn’t concerned about anything else.

"Since you put it that way, Auntie won’t be polite with you anymore. Go ahead and eat. It hurts my heart to see you keeping vigil without eating or drinking, do you understand?" Ellie Wilton liked Celia very much, and treated her almost like her own daughter.

"Yes, I’ll eat," Celia finally allowed herself to be persuaded by Ellie Wilton.

Indeed, after such a long operation, Jordy was utterly exhausted and didn’t awaken until eight o’clock in the evening. When he finally stirred, his eyes met Celia’s bright, sparkling ones.

She had been forcing herself to stay awake, just watching him sleep as if she could never tire of it for a lifetime.

"You’re finally awake?" Celia said, her tears starting to stream down.

"...Don’t cry," Jordy Wade said slowly, reaching out a hand to help her wipe her tears.

Seeing this, Celia grabbed Jordy’s hands and said with great emotion, "It’s good that you’re awake, it’s so good."

"Silly girl," Jordy Wade pursed his lips in a smile, then took her hands into his own, holding them tightly, "From now on, I’m never going to leave you again!"

That was his promise to her.
