Chapter 779: Chapter 779: Splendid Wedding (14)

Then, the bride and groom swore their vows in front of the priest, followed by a kiss.

Afterward, they left the scene under the guidance of the flower children.

Carolline Ruiz then removed her expensive wedding gown, and Julia Marshall felt a sense of accomplishment.

Carolline put on a shorter white dress and greeted the guests together with Bryan Hawkins. The couple appeared under the blue sky and above the green grass, making their guests incredibly happy.

The guests at noon were all friends and family, without any Hawkins Family staff, so it wasn’t too tiring for them.

Daisy Willow sat with her family, temporarily helping to take care of Simon Carrington’s two children. In addition to attending Bryan and Carolline’s wedding, Simon had also come back to talk about business.

He planned to transfer his foreign business to the domestic market. This would take some time, but he had already started planning for it.

Elena Duncan was always with Axel, sitting in the main seats of the Hawkins and Ruiz families. Mrs. Hawkins was extremely fond of Axel’s little friend, and Elena was sweet to everyone.

Due to his plans of returning to the country and venturing into a new industry unrelated to the Carrington Family’s original line of business, Simon spent most of his time with Gary Skate, seeking to learn more about domestic medical preparations.

Bernard Taylor arrived just before the banquet started. Without having the time to greet his parents, he handed his gifts and money to Bryan and Carolline.

"Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins, congratulations. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and many children," Bernard smiled slightly.

"Thank you," Carolline took the things Bernard handed over, genuinely not expecting him to make it back. "Avery is over there, playing with them."

Subconsciously, Carolline shared this information with Bernard, who, for some reason, felt incredibly happy for Avery.

Bernard hesitated but simply nodded, not reacting further.

"Mr. Taylor, your words weren’t quite accurate. We have already had a precious child; Axel is six years old now," Bryan proudly corrected him, successfully shifting the topic.

"Yes, yes, I’ll drink two extra cups as punishment tonight," Bernard laughed. "I won’t bother you any longer. I’ll go see my parents."

After Bernard left, Carolline instinctively looked for Avery Graham and found her walking hand in hand with Kent Auclair. It was then that Carolline realized the foolish thing she had just done.

How could she have forgotten that Avery already had a boyfriend?

At three in the afternoon, Carolline tossed the bouquet.

In the end, it landed in Celia Wade’s hands. She hadn’t even tried to grab it, but the bouquet flew straight to her. Faced with congratulations all around her, all she could do was smile bitterly.

Time passed quickly, and by 4:30 PM, Carolline had changed into a traditional Z Country red wedding gown.

After that, the couple, as if bidding farewell to the bride’s family, headed to the groom’s family and served tea, receiving many generous red envelopes in return.

Finally, the couple shared sweet dumplings, symbolizing togetherness, and drank Lotus Seed Soup.

This part of the celebration took about an hour.

At dinner time, Carolline saw the night’s wedding feast, featuring a cascading Milky Way, from which they would make their way, step by step, toward the guests.

Before that, an MC would describe their love story to all the guests.

Carolline could hardly believe the effort and resources Bryan had put into creating this wedding scene for her. It wasn’t necessary for her at all; a simple wedding would have been enough as long as he was by her side.

It was impossible not to feel moved. Carolline was deeply touched, wondering how such a Milky Way had been built for their wedding.

The venue was filled with guests, who were astonished and impressed by the wedding scene like never before. The exquisite dishes on the table couldn’t even attract them, mesmerized by the brilliant wedding scene.

"Is it really necessary to be this happy?" Mia Parker sighed, her tablemates marveling at the increasingly extravagant wedding. It seemed as if this moment was the climax of the celebration.

"Thank you all for attending the wedding of Mr. Hawkins and Miss Ruiz. This wedding is called Brilliance...

The MC continued to speak, but Carolline was unable to hear it. She looked at Bryan, the man beside her, who had given her all of this happiness.

Images of their time together flashed through her mind, one scene after another. Filled with mixed emotions, she followed Bryan onto the elegant Pumpkin Car and offered toasts to everyone along the way.

No one could have made Bryan drunk that night. At the beginning, he made sure that nothing would jeopardize the most important day of his life. How could he be drunk on his wedding night?

Inside the Pumpkin Car, the bride and groom stopped at every table and handed out candies and cigarettes, and toasted the guests. No one could confirm if the groom was drinking real wine.

Even with the car’s help, it took an hour and a half to toast all the tables.

Feeling lightheaded and dizzy from hunger, Carolline could no longer care about her appearance and ate heartily.

At nine o’clock, they enjoyed half an hour of fireworks, with Bryan guiding Carolline into the Pumpkin Car to watch. Under the scattered fireworks, the couple embraced and kissed.

No words were needed.

Under the dazzling fireworks, each person continued their unique story, filled with different kinds of excitement...
